This place is great and in a good central location near everything you need. We had a lovely cozy cabin right up at the back with a great view over the limestone mountains in the background. We found the staff very helpful and attentive, even drive you up to your room in a golf cart. The monkeys we very cute, they are wild so just keep your distance. There is a fantastic spot to swim in the river right in the hotel grounds, and there is a fun slide and rope swing, too. The buffet breakfast was good too, nice selection and good coffee. Really enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but that's just nitpicking, really. The bed was pretty firm.

The room was really clean and the view was spectacular- there were monkeys outside my window! (You have to keep your doors locked so they don't get in) The staff were all really lovely and helpful and the buffet breakfast was great. We went on a tubing down the river tour which was a fantastic experience and good value (it was cheaper than other places offering the same experience) The beds were large and comfortable if you like a firm bed- which I do!

The only downside was we used the laundry service and they washed a pink item in with all our whites which are now all slightly pink.

The position could not be better, you are a 1 min walk from the Main Street. We LOVE this little strip, so many vegetarian and vegan options at low low prices. The room was functional, however heed the warnings and keep your doors locked at all times, the monkeys now know how to open the doors! We spoke to a family who had a lie down in the afternoon, only to have a troop of monkeys enter the room and search it for food!

The restaurant! The food was not good at all. They seemed to be renovating the kitchen during our stay, lots of heavy building work going on, whilst the kitchen was still open! Brick dust with your chicken sir?

A wonderful place, far from the noise of the streets and the merry tourists. The national park is a 5-7 minute walk away. The hotel staff is very friendly. The breakfasts, although repeated every day, were hearty and tasty. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. The most memorable was staying in a bungalow on the edge of a small river overlooking the jungle. And our neighbors turned out to be mischievous monkeys! Coming out onto the back porch, we were stunned by what we saw: everywhere - on roofs, trees, the ground, and wires - these funny animals were frolicking. Feeding the monkeys is strictly prohibited, as it can harm both them and people. They will walk around a bit, check everything is in order on their territory, how your laundry is washed, play, and may even fight each other, and then leave. Watching the monkeys enjoy swimming and even diving underwater was a real discovery for us. The room was clean, although the internet was unstable. Fortunately, we had our own mobile internet. We really enjoyed everything!

We stayed for 3 nights which felt just right to explore the national park and visit the lake on one day. We stayed in a three bedroom older apartment by the river and one newer deluxe two bed, the latter is highly recommended. The property lies perfect in the middle of the small town, and everything is within walking distance. Really nothing to complain about for the price, the brekfast was ok with fresch made eggs and pancakes, the slide and swing in the river was fun and the pool was nice, warm and never crowded. To sit on the balcony in the evening reading and listening to the jungle was really nice. Also hardly any mosqitoes.

We got locked out of our room one time since we forgot the key, and they had no extra so had to literally break in. If it had happened 30 minutes later the reception would have been closed and no emergency number. So keep track of your key...

We booked a jungle lodge for 1 night 4 person room. then had a pool room for 3 nights. # LOTS of wildlife. the sound of the jungle - you are right in it and its totally amazing you are 5 mins walk to the national park - you don't need a guide for this there are footpaths around up to the 3rd waterfall. if you want to see the tallest water falls you will need a guide. the cleaners make you feel special and the beds are comfy in all rooms. staff are very helpful and booking tours was easy -try to book cookery classes in advance they all seem to sell out in this area very quickly! you are in close proximity to the bars and restaurants

I would give this 10/10 but for others I believe the review needs to reflect the place, its not a 5* resort there are a few quirks with the decor, pool wasn't available to us for our stay - but tbh i wouldn't of used it anyway as we were busy doing other things. try to book cookery classes in advance they all seem to sell out in this area very quickly!

Brilliant place to staff, nice and peaceful. Lovely welcoming staff and helpful. Rooms are perfectly clean and the facilities are brilliant, swimming pool was perfect. We had a morning show of monkeys from the balcony and they even joined us at the pool for a play. Wish we had longer time to stay here. If you are booking a tour, the hotel can pre-book this for you. I would advise you ask what they have and try to book in advance, especially for a stay in national park. Their prices are the same as all the other agents. 2700 baht for one person for private bathroom. We paid a lot more, wish we had known this prior.

If you are coming from Krabi, Ao Nang, get a private transfer there and back. Do not get the terrible local transfers, from bus station or organised by hotels. It takes hours, with lots of drops off and pick ups.

The room was next to river and you could hear the gushing water all the time & the surrounding greenery gives a feel of living in a remote place. The kayaking and tubing options are at the door step of the resort.. The main street has a nice vibe with number of restaurants..and tour operator offices for khao sok park.. Breakfast was average with a good chance of seeing monkeys jumping around to runaway with something to eat... Swimming pool and mini golf course is great to keep the kids busy... Overall great place

The walk way to the villas at river front needs some maintenance as it gets little difficult to walk around with number of puddles after rain

Great resort. It was rather big, but nicely spread out. We had a poolview room for our three teenagers and a jungle view bungalow for the parents. Close to each other. Rooms were nice, bathrooms good. Beds comfy. A moneky visited our balcony in the mornings. Great pool. But the kids liked swimming the river next to the restaurant even better. There was a tarzan swing and a cool slide. Nice and friendly staff. Good location. We would stay there again. Beware of cheeky monkeys that like to steal food at breakfast.

The restaurant was horrible. Had lunch there once. Worst Thai food we have ever had. The red curry was watery and tasteless. Breakfast was included and ok. Buffet style, there was something for everyone, western and Thai food. Sometimes the lines were too long when a whole tour bus group came to breakfast at once. We would definitely stay there again but not eat at the restaurant, except for breakfast.

Great rainforest hotel, well located for accessing the restaurants of Khao Sok and the national park. It has a great jungle mini golf, a large pool , and a water slide into the river... huge fun. We went tubing down the river from the hotel. There are monkeys everywhere so it feels as though you are deep in the jungle. Spacious and clean family room

BUT.... the communal areas are tired and full of bizarre decor such as plastic flamingos and chipped wooden cows. There are partially built buildings in the grounds and unfinished works. A shame as with a bit of tidying up the estate it could be perfect.
