We had a wonderful stay at the Bliss Hotel! The breakfast is exceptionally good, and the accommodations are very comfortable. Ning and her colleagues are so attentive; we felt very well taken care of here. When our daughter fell ill, we received great support and couldn’t have been in a better place. The many monkeys on our balcony were another highlight ;) There is a lovely swimming spot in the river at a nearby hotel. However, it’s worth noting that there are small fish in the river that can bite quite a bit if you don’t keep moving.

Nothing really. It may be nice to have mosquito nets for the beds.

What’s not to love about The Bliss? From the moment we arrived, Ning took exceptional care of me and my parents. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing homemade iced tea and personally escorted to our charming riverside lodge. The lodge was immaculately clean, incredibly spacious, and had the most delightful balcony overlooking the river—a perfect spot to relax and take in the view. The breakfast deserves special mention; it was truly unforgettable. Each morning, we could choose from a variety of options, and it was served alongside an assortment of fresh, delicious fruits. It was so good that I can’t stop raving about it to my friends and family! To make our experience even better, when we booked a shared van for our departure, The Bliss surprised us by upgrading it to a private transfer. We couldn’t believe our luck and were so grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness. Ning herself is a gem. Her excellent English, warm hospitality, and fantastic sense of humor made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone so welcoming and attentive, especially in Thailand where language barriers can sometimes be a challenge. And as if all of this wasn’t enough, we even had the delightful company of monkeys in the afternoon, which added a magical touch to an already incredible experience. I can’t wait to come back—10 out of 10, without a doubt!

Just loved everything. Location: Great location walking distance to the center. Our accomodation WOW....surrounded by nature including wild monkeys which are literally at your feet. We were so fortunate to have that experience as many tourists we bumped into were desperate to see monkeys on the tours. Lodge: The best...spacious clean and comfortable, overlooking the river where you could go swimming. The homemade cookies in the room were delicious. Tours: We booked two tours via the lodge, no point hunting around you get the best price with Mae and she is thoughtful and ensures you have everying and gives you water, torches dry bag etc... Breakfast: On of the best breakfasts we ever had..so much variety and the volume..no need for lunch. Most importantly the quality of the food , the homemade cakes, breads, condiments..all yummy. Staff: Mae and her team are just amazing. The hospitality was amazing, they really look after you and go above and beyond. We left the Bliss becoming the King's Heart in the Jungle;0)

A nice and very quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is well-prepared and generous.

The hotel has a troupe of monkeys that know how to open doors and enter rooms, which creates a feeling of being under siege. My husband stepped onto the balcony and closed the door, but since it couldn't be locked from the outside, a monkey quickly entered and took the bananas we had bought. I wasn’t intimidated at all by my presence in the room. Keep in mind that the rooms have balconies, but you can’t really sit on them The hotel serves only breakfast (in Booking, it states they have a restaurant); you have to walk all the way to the main road to have other meals.

We had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel nestled in the heart of nature in Khao Sok. The location is absolutely stunning – surrounded by lush greenery, a beautifully maintained garden, and even adorable monkeys along the path! The rooms are charming, spotless, and well-equipped, with tasteful design and attention to every little detail. Mai, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. She organized tours for us and took care of everything – from raincoats, flashlights, and waterproof bags to arranging transportation to and from the hotel. We were even greeted with delicious homemade granola cookies waiting for us in the room! Breakfast was one of the best we had in Thailand – beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. All in all, this hotel is a gem. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved everything

We only stayed 2 nights, but wish we had stayed longer. I had the best nights sleep! The bed was so comfy, and you just melt into the pillows. The best nights sleep I've had in a long time! We absolutely loved staying here. It's a peaceful, beautiful location, tucked away from the village, which is about about a 5-10minute walk, as is the entrance to the National Park. Monkeys visit the area often, so be prepared to have some close encounters. We enjoyed watching them & and sharing their home. They were no problem and you are advised how to walk past etc when you arrive. - it's all part of staying in the jungle! There's plenty of places to eat within walking distance.There's no pool, but there's a river right next door if you fancy a dip! We didn't during our stay but I know others have. Great, friendly service throughout our stay. We felt very welcome. They made a birthday card for my husband and a cake. He loved it. It made our stay extra special, thank you. They arranged our tours for us - definitely recommend doing the night jungle trek - it was brilliant. Our guide ( Sorry, I can't remember your name, but he's known as 'Snake Man') was brilliant, so knowledgeable, we saw and learnt so much. Plus, he started our trek at a different time to avoid other tour groups, which we did. It really felt like it was just us in the jungle, didnt see or hear anyone. As we were leaving, there were swarms of tours coming in! The breakfast- Wow, so amazing! As everyone has mentioned, it really did live up to expectations. And they even made me gluten-free pancakes, which were delicious! Thank you so much. We hope to come back one day.

1. Ning and her team were OUTSTANDING. Always available and on hand to help with any questions or advice on the local area. 2. The room and facilities are AMAZING. The room was clean, homemade cookies on arrival and water every day plus a spacious balcony away from the other lodges. 3. The BREAKFAST - probably the BEST breakfast I’ve ever had (fruit, homemade cake and jam, chocolate orange bread, pancakes and then a cooked part Thai or English).

Literally nothing - I’d give 11/10 if I could (and believe it or not, I’m quite a fussy guest!).

A really lovely one night stay at the Bliss. Super friendly welcome and check in from Mae, a gorgeous room, very comfortable beds, great showroom and a tasty breakfast, it reminded me of a quintessential English tea room with the pretty crockery and home made cakes. Delicious. Also, an easy walk into town with numerous restaurants.

We booked a night hike via the hotel and sadly the guide spoke very little English so unlike the other groups we could hear in front and behind us we couldn’t have a conversation with the guide or ask the questions our children had (simple things like how big does it grow, or is it poisonous weren’t understood).

There is so much I want to say about how amazing this place is. Firstly Ning, she was so kind, so so helpful & great English, helping us with a few queries we had. Location in the jungle, near the river but an easy stroll to main road. We ate in the riverside place next door & was lovely. Wear plenty of insect repellent. Breakfast was out of this world, so fresh & so well cooked at a time of your choice. Presentation beautiful. The rooms are large, spacious with everything you need. Good air con. Didn’t use tv or WiFi. Hot shower, comfy bed & clean. We did have plenty of monkey experiences and even had them pulling at our door handles and stealing our deck chair! Keep doors & windows properly locked at all times!! We loved it all, exactly what we wanted. Even though in the jungle no dodgy insect encounters, huge lizard was about it. Wore jungle formula no bites. Listening to the sounds of the monkeys & cicadas with the smell of the jungle will stay my favourite memory of here. Close by Khao sok elephant sanctuary was amazing. No bathing riding etc worth a visit. Thankyou for a stay beyond our expectations, you are amazing X

Having to leave was the only thing I didn’t like!

The property was beautiful - felt like an oasis with lovely comfortable rooms, homemade cookies and the nicest people. They helped plan all of our activities in the park and created a wonderful itinerary with an excellent guide for our trek and well-run tours. Even the A/C was great - kept you cool but was quiet enough that you can still hear the sounds of the jungle. Breakfast was exceptional - excellent fruit, homemade baked goods, wide range of choices for the main breakfast meal. May and her team made us feel at home.
