This place really exceeded our expectations: the room was huge and beautiful, very comfortable bed, nice balcony (with area for drying towels/clothes), large clean bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with a nice selection. The pool is the best I've ever been in, so relaxing to swim around like you're in a jungle :) We were given an ice cold welcome drink, much appreciated after a long hot journey! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were friendly and helpful. The location is good as it's all walkable to restaurants, shops, beaches. The beach the resort backs onto is absolutely flawless - white sand and crystal clear blue water (though there are a lot of longtail boats, so we went to other beaches for relaxing). We stayed for 5 nights and I could've done another 10 :D

Lovely resort in beautiful Koh Lipe. Great location on Sunrise Beach, with free snorkels and kayaks to go enjoy the area. Nice clean room (Balinese suite) with good facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of options. The restaurant and beach bar in general were excellent for food and cocktails. However, the best thing about this resort is the pool-a lovely clean, sprawling pool in a fabulous garden setting.

The only gripe is that when we booked the Balinese suite, it said "2 storeys". Actually what this means is the room is on a 2nd level. There are no multiple-room suites in this resort. We thought this was a little bit misleading as we booked as family thinking there were multiple rooms ina suite.

My wife and I stayed in one of the luxury Balinese Villas, B1, and couldn’t have been more delighted. Spacious airy room with a lovely private terrace to sit and chill. The resort itself is set in wonderful gardens which clearly have been thought out offering plenty of sun along with cool shaded areas.Very nice clean pool. Would choose this resort over its sister resort on Pattaya Beach. Breakfast was very good with good choices. Lovely touch of free water, tea and coffee all day available as self serve. The location of the resort is perfect for exploring this small but beautiful island. Absolutely stunning beach stretching the length of the island with crystal clear safe waters. The massages on the resort are the best we have had in our time visiting Thailand. Shout out to Moët, Palm and Fon. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. Koi was especially helpful and knowledgeable. Bryan the owner was lovely and communicated with us sharing his knowledge of the island and places to visit. Our view is this is possibly the best resort on Koh Lipe and well worth staying at.

The atmosphere is super nice. Tropical, lush garden with beautiful pool and enough space to relax. Also the front at the beach is nice, there are enough sunbeds for guests, they play nice music at the restaurant. Friendly staff. We love this resort. The room is spacious and the beds are very comfy. Great location to stay very comfortably with 5 persons in one room. Highly recommended for families and quiet group of friends.

If we have to mention something here what can be improved, I would say the bathroom can use an update. It’s a bit old. After my first reservation the resort was really fast in taking a deposit form my creditcard. While I was just organizing our trip, I canceled this first booking to create a new one with other dates. But the deposit was already taken. Yes I got it back, however due to currency exchange rates and the time it took to get the deposit back this costed us around 65 euros which I regret. Reception couldn’t do anything about this. I suggest to wait a little bit longer before taking deposits. I have done many bookings at Booking.com but never had a deposit taken so fast for a booking that still could be canceled without any costs for more than a month.

This is Budget White Lotus. Amazing staff, location room and garden surrounding pool and breakfast and cocktail hour with the best beach out front. Loved this part of our holiday and stayed five days and wished it was longer. Staff are super friendly and helpful with diving and snorkelling recommendations. A quick walk to Walking Street and local eateries made this a perfect location. Big thank you to Koi for all her help and Thai intel.

Sustainability policies. I think they could really push guests to use the water filter instead of handing out water bottles. Also to use paper straws or no straws in restaurant as it is on the beach. Would be great to have a small gym onsite.

We booked a Balinese luxury suite, not a villa and we were so pleased we did. Whilst the villas looked lovely and there were on ground level they were smaller and less private than what we had. We stayed for 5 nights so we wanted something larger than just a bed in the room and the suites didn’t disappoint. Plenty of room including a lovely balcony big enough to hang clothes on if you did any washing. Very private and a lovely outlook over the pool area. A short walk to the bar/ restaurant for breakfast. Kayaks, snorkeling gear and paddle boards available to use free of charge. You could walk along the beach to sunset beach. Overall a great resort and we would definitely stay there again.

I personally like the hotel shampoo. It smell nice and very softening even without the conditioner. Amenities are complete. Room is spacious, smell good and very beautiful. Staff is very kind, nice and helpful. I like that the location of this resort is a short walking distance from the walking street. It is connected to the beach hence if lucky like us your island hopping boat would pick you up at the resort. Nice beautiful resort and big pool to enjoy at.

I would prefer if they serve buffet style breakfast and have more variety of halal options. But overall it was nice and the scenery at the cafe is just amazing right beside the beach. Highly recommend!!

Liked: - Large tropical pool, grounds were maintained. - Free paddle boards and canoes, life preservers and masks. - Food at bar for lunch and dinner was fresh and excellent. Drinks were good value and some of the best we had on island. - Snorkeling right outside of Mali was great, beautiful tropical fish everywhere. Didn’t Like: -Bathroom was tired and gross. Mildew in shower. Water reeked of rust. Leaky faucets. Brown water in toilet. Toilet seat wobbly. - Walls, bed, coffee table were tattered, broken or stained. -Boats anchored directly outside of hotel (though this was all the hotels on beach) and trash everywhere along beach. -Pool was so warm and didn't feel super clean.

What an amazing resort! We had a wonderful 5-night stay and would’ve loved to stay much longer. First, the staff is great. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We especially loved Koi and Big but everyone else also (don’t know all the names). The pool is amazing, best pool we’ve been in a long time. The water is very warm, the palm trees offer a shade if you want it and it is just beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast is lovely, very fresh and they offer the best fruit on the island! Mango was just unreal. Everything we ate at the restaurant was delicious. Rooms are very nice and comfortable (balinese poolside suites), few meters from the pool. Location is great - close to walking street but quiet. Beach is nice and always had vacant pool-chairs available. Everything was amazing!

Massive rooms. Choose luxury suite ground floor for largest room (we are family of five including teens and room took 3 extra beds easily). Still very private with terrace area and looked out onto the gorgeous pool. FYI we liked Koh Lipe so much we stayed another 3 nights in their other resort Mali Pattaya beach. V different vibe which was great- all villas (still fit 5 with 3 extra beds). Kids so missed a pool though. Resort at end Ananya let us use their pool for the day (bought lunch and drinks). We were the only ones using it. The two resorts are literally opposite sides of the island with walking street in between. An island with incredible sunsets- purple, pink…..brilliant snorkelling too and happy people, loved Koh Lipe. Oh and amazing weather in August.

Beach area by hotel itself small BUT massive beach area all around so didn’t matter. Free kayaks great
