It is an exceptional hotel. Wonderful sitting room with bedroom and spacious bathroom. Amazing views. Staff are outstanding, nothing too much trouble, always giving ideas on the best way to get to places and places to see. We ate at Vertigo for my birthday, and whilst it is pricey, I haven’t eaten at a restaurant with views like that in my whole life. Breathtaking. The Saffron Bar is also a lovely place to sit and have a drink before or after dinner, very chill and again great views. We also had massages at the Spa, again everything so beautifully presented and the therapists were of a very high standard. The breakfast buffet is again outstanding, well worth paying for when you book your room as it sets you up all day, we rarely needed lunch. It’s in the very smart area of Sathon just east of city centre but getting in in taxis/tuktuks/metro all very easy, just allow enough time in rush hour. Attention to detail everywhere , beautiful flower displays , essential oils at bed turn down, Thai fruits in the room.

There really is nothing. Only a slight thing (and I mean slight) , they’re aren’t enough places to sit around the pool for the size of hotel. A couple of afternoons we went down and it was busy and nowhere to sit as they were all taken.

This hotel is so beautiful, the restaurants, the vibe, the details, amazing service as well. Amazing breakfast and a lot of options, beautiful rooftop restaurants, very helpful staff. The room was really big and clean, complimentary fruit, really nice soaps etc you get in the bathroom. The hotel itself is an experience.

There is a lot of traffic around the hotel so you’re always stuck travelling anywhere but at least I couldn’t hear the traffic from the room, the traffic also seems to be bad everywhere in Bangkok.

The staff from concierge to front desk to F&B to the spa experience and curated activities were exceptional. They were very welcoming and hospitable, going the extra mile to ensure your convenience and comfort. The lady at the gift shop who upon hearing my feedback on the in-room amenities not only informed the housekeeping but also followed up with me when she saw me again the following day. Special call out to P’san who was not only patient in teaching a newbie like me Muay Thai, he knows when to push me to my limits. It was the most unexpected highlight of my trip.

Wow, what a truly wonderful experience staying at the Banyan Tree Bangkok Hotel was. From the moment I arrived I was both surprised and delighted as the hotel’s entrance was so beautifully decorated for Christmas it had me thinking I was in Santa Ville. Thanks for the great Christmas 2022. 🥳🍾🥂🤶🎄🎉 My luxurious room had the most breathtaking views over Bangkok and the river. I could even watch the sunrise from my bed! The real WOW factor was dining on the rooftop terrace at the Vertigo restaurant, 59th floor! Not to be missed! I loved everything about this hotel and wish to highly recommend it! Excellent service, super friendly and very helpful staff. 10/10!!

Room was large - Roof Top Restaurant very expensive, but a brilliant location - Overall staff was very friendly - reception a bit complicated - daily small gifts in the evening very nice - Spa very nice

Had to wait 1,5 hours for check-in, but have been with 10:00 am quite early - Concierge accepted moon-prices of the taxi and didn`t managed it in favor of customer - bath room needs a picture over the bath - TV very small - breakfast was only standard (much better in Hilton Millenium in BKK) - pool a bit small and few beds and umbrellas at the pool -

Booked executive room. They upgraded us so room was fabulous and executive floor is amazing value for money. Great choice of restaurants . We were there for 3 days and had all evening meals there. So much choice.

Room was so hot. Seems to set at 23 degrees every day. Turned down to min of 16 but needed a high fan so barely slept due to noise and jet lag. Bed very comfortable. Room was fabulous. Just wish I slept better . Vertigo restaurant you could not fault for view and atmosphere. However took almost an hour to get a drink and for £90 a head I expected it to be incredible. Can't fault for view though but value for money not convinced

Our stay at the Banyan Tree Hotel was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in luxury. The hotel’s stunning design and impeccable service made it clear we were in a true 5-star haven. The warm welcome set the tone for our stay, with refreshments and snacks always available at the main entrance. The staff went above and beyond, upgrading our room for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The room was spacious and elegant, featuring a massive bathroom with a luxurious bathtub. We especially loved the unique “bath menu,” which allowed us to indulge in a romantic rose bath—an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail was unmatched. Every day, housekeeping left us delightful treats, adding a personal touch that made us feel so special. The crown jewel of this hotel, however, is the rooftop bar and restaurant. The breathtaking city views paired with exquisite food and drinks made it the perfect spot to unwind after exploring Bangkok. We can’t recommend the Banyan Tree Hotel enough. Whether for a honeymoon or just a getaway, this hotel promises an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return!

It was a little far away from all the main touristy spots, but it was easy to find cars or a tuk tuk ride.

Excellent central location 30mins from Don Mueang Airport (traffic depending), walking distance from Lumphini Park and nightlife in Silom, and with convenient metro link to the Old City. Professional and helpful staff. Large, handsome and well-equipped room with a view and excellent bathroom. Moon Bar with spectacular views of Bangkok skyline.

Sathon can get extremely busy with traffic which can lead to large delays (it once took me 45mins for a 2.5km journey). For such an expensive hotel, add-ons like breakfast and laundry were incredibly overpriced compared to local alternatives and did not offer value for money. The Moon Bar was very popular even during the off-season so even as a hotel guest you often had to wait for a table.

Excellent service from the moment we were greeted at the doors of the hotel right through until the day we left. The staff at the hotel are very attentive, always looking to support you and ensure you have a wonderful stay. We booked the Banyan Tree for the amenities and location, all of which were perfect for us. As we expected the pool was a little chilly due to little sunlight hitting it, but it was a wonderful escape from a busy city and we enjoyed some afternoon sun whilst we relaxed. The gym was well equipped for a hotel, a good range of dumbbells, some cardio equipment, and a floor space to work out in. If you have the opportunity, do have dinner at Vertigo on the 61st floor. The food and drinks are wonderful, the staff are attentive, but what is most special is the view once the sun has set and the city lights create a fabulous view to get lost in!

There was nothing that we didn't like, the hotel was exactly what we were hoping for.

Stayed there for our last night in Thailand and was impressed. The staff is amazing, special thanks to Goi and the Club lounge team for being so hospitable and taking good care of us! The hotel itself is an elegant mix of traditional elements and modernity, it looks and feels sophisticated.

Hotel faces a busy street, you can hear it when things quiet down inside but it’s not too bad. It is however an issue if you want to walk around as it is very loud and sidewalks are narrow and/or non-existent.
