The hotel was new and the rooms were very modern. Good bed (firm but not hard), good water pressure in the showers, and reasonably close to many things the city has to offer, including walking distance to transit, shops/malls, and food.

So one side of the hotel is nice and quiet, but the other side of the hotel is the red-light district. It is totally safe, and you can't hear anything in the room, but depending on what your preference is, it may not be your thing if you go outside during the night (or it may be totally your thing). My main issue was that the traffic on the redlight district side was terrible, but traffic is fine any time of day as long as you get dropped off at the side with DoubleTree hotel (road name with #2) instead of the default (road name with #4).

Review for the Hotel: Overall, our stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience and offered good value for money. The hotel is beautifully renovated, providing guests with a comfortable and modern atmosphere. The staff, particularly Surf and his companion, were exceptional. They assisted us with a smile, from carrying our luggage to helping us navigate the Grab taxi and finding the entrance location. Additionally, we appreciated the flexibility of allowing us to use the gym shower at 20:00 after checking out, which was convenient before our flight. In summary, the hotel offers a comfortable and well-renovated stay, with excellent staff assistance. Still, some improvements in communication and spa services would enhance the overall guest experience we think. Looking forward to stay here again.

There were a few areas for improvement. The spa services were on the pricier side ($100 - $150). While the staff was friendly but was not that professional, the services lacked basics such as pedicure treatments. Upon check-in, it would have been beneficial to receive more information about the hotel's amenities and operating hours. Additionally, there was confusion with the Grab taxi due to the outdated name of the hotel (Rajah Hotel) on the app and the rear gate closure, preventing our taxis from reaching the hotel entrance.

Room was very clean and well serviced. Can’t hear much noise from the street which was good. Staff were super helpful on arrival and in booking ongoing travel. The breakfast and restaurant was amazing

The street outside can be intense, particularly if you’re a solo female traveler.

Clean, comfortable, the toilets had automatic manoeuvres especially the, bidet which was excellent, easy access to meeting venue (4minute walk), close to BTS station.

Drinking water … only 2 bottles provided complimentary per day, anything more was chargeable . Coffee was only complimentary one off .. first day only (I was staying for 6 nights)…needed to pay for the other days if used, though tea was replenished daily FOC.

Good location, a beautiful interior design, and good service-minded though less-experienced staff.

This hotel was newly opened around one month ago, so some staff may not be trained well. I found a few problems every day, especially with the housekeeping service. On arrival date, there was no cup in the bathroom, no sugar for coffee, no bottle opener, and no razor. On 2nd night, there were no amenities (cotton bud, cotton pad, sanitary bag, razor, toothbrush). Last night, there was no floor mat in the bathroom. There was only one functioning elevator, another may have malfunctioned or been disabled.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, it actually felt pleasant to sleep with it on, which isn’t always the case. The Wi-Fi was reliable; I had an important video interview during my stay and experienced no issues at all. In terms of location, Nana BTS station is nearby, but the Sukhumvit metro station which I ended up using more often is a bit farther ~20mins. However, taxis are easily available. It's worth noting that the hotel is situated in the heart of the red-light district. I personally didn’t mind, it felt safe, vibrant, and quite interesting, but this atmosphere might not be for everyone.

The room was on the smaller side, but since I was traveling alone, it suited me perfectly. One thing that would have been useful, given the unpredictable weather, is having an umbrella available in the room.

Location is brilliant. Loads of bars and restaurants in same Soi. Staff very helpful. Did not take breakfast as neither of us are big eaters so it seemed a bit pricy - we preferred to eat outside. It is probably fine if you like a big breakfast.

Wifi seemed a bit temperamental but we were on high floor so maybe that was the reason. If it logged out was fiddly to get back in. My wife really did not like the sink being in the room rather than within bathroom. There was separate shower and toilet but wash basin and bathroom mirror is in room. Found that a bit odd as we have only ever come across that in budget hotels.

Everything was exceptional down to the included breakfast in the beautiful restaurant next to the pool. Our room was spacious, clean and the separate toilet and shower was a nice touch. The toilet was Japanese style with heating, an automatic lid and bidet. The shower was super spacious. The wellness facilities were also world-class. The gym had Technogym equipment, and was quite a decent size space. All in all, it was amazing value for money. Seriously a 10/10 experience. Exceeded all expectations!

The location is smack bang in the middle of the red light district therefore it will get busy at night especially when trying to walk back and forth between the BTS station. Not that it's bad, but it does get quite congested at times between pedestrians and vehicles. The room could do with some space to put your luggage, like a raised platform or even a couch. But nonetheless it was fine to have it on the floor.
