The staff were Brilliant! Very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. I was very pleased and very surprised for the price. Great bed, spacious room, small desk and separate Shower and Toilet. Good hot water. Hot water and microwave available to use. Small but nice common chill area and Balcony overlooking a river. Overall an Excellent stay! First night was incredibly peaceful. Second night not so much. Just a disgruntled customer banging the doors all night, but hey we all have bad days. The street it's on would probably seem a little dodgy at night to some, but great location (15 mins walk to Khao San road etc. and lots of bus and boat connections). Overall very happy, very satisfied and pleasantly surprised. The ambience, cleanliness and hospitality on the first night was 5* , so thank you to the staff (Reception and Cleaners) - Greatly appreciated!!! A really nice place to unwind and chill after the often hecticness of Bangkok!

It was a decent room and a decent hotel. The staff were very nice and friendly and helped with anything we needed. There was a shared living space with a sink, kettle, microwave, fridge and kettle. There was a small terrace and sofas, a good place to eat your own food or get some work done. There was no free tea or coffee available and no kettle in the room which was a bit inconvenient, every morning we had to walk down the stairs from the 4th floor to make coffee and take it back up. Somehow there were ants on the 4th floor and in our room which meant we had to be careful with where we put our things. I made the mistake of having a sugary snack in my backpack....I am at a new hotel now in another city and there are also a few ants by the balcony door so maybe it's going to be a theme in Thailand. Everything is kind of worn out and a bit broken or dirty and I probably wouldn't stay again :(

I loved this place, the attention of the girls is unmatched, they are people with very good communication, empathy, they are always friendly and with a smile, it is the best of the place! The attention! They have a lot of common sense and communication skills. They speak English perfectly.

The place is clean, clean sheets and towels, there is laundry service! The terrace is great with a view of the river! I loved this place, I'll be back!

There are so many mosquitos in the dining area but perhaps it was because of the river in front. The lights in the facilities are too deemed and cant barely see the entire room at night. I know weeds are ok for other tenants to use but there was one guy who smoke a lot at the open dining area that makes me so dizzy.

staff is very friendly and ready to help you. they also provided hair dryer bc i asked for it. location is nice and the room and everything it had was enough to be comfortable to stay there, since most of the time i was out of the hostel

the toilet flush is a bit confusing, and the remote control from A/C was not working properly. also, you can hear the noise coming from outside, but for me it was not a major problem.

I was here two times. The room is small but very cosy and for me there was enough space. Was clean and had air conditioning which is must have in Bangkok! The personel is super nice !

I like hard mattress but this one super hard. First night was difficult to sleep there are ants in the room. In the toilet it’s fine they can be but they were in room as well and going inside my backpack which was annoying

Clean and tidy, brilliant for the price. Very good location - able to walk to Khaosan Rd, BTS etc. Also a great location should you be training at Sangmorakot Muay Thai gym.

This property was unexpectedly well located. The nearest station is Sam Yot on MRT, then you can take a Tuk Tuk for 50/60 baht or walk. On exiting the property if you turn right and follow road around you come to an amazing market where you can buy meals daily or cotton -shirts and all sorts of clothing at really really cheap prices. It is a clothing wholesale area but some merchants sell single pieces. Exiting the property turn left and left again you come to a 7/11 convenience store. This is also the bus stop for the number 15 which takes you most places and you return on the opposite side of the road - use the overhead walkway to cross the road. The number 8 runs from here straight to Chatchuthak market! Above all Min who manages this property is very helpful, informative and full of tips. The husband and wife team who man reception are also excellent. Rooms are cleaned properly. I travelled alone and felt very safe. The common area to sit overlooking the canal is a real bonus but cover up with mosquito repellent!. Finally, you can take river boats from this area straight into the centre avoiding the traffic. What a wonderful find this property. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was great! I had to extend my stay so I ended up staying here for 3 weeks or so. I hope that the property continues its strict security and not allowing third parties to stay or any undesirables. As long as it remains a safe place for backpackers of all ages - quiet night sleeping and no rowdy people it will shine for years to come!

The location is good for exploring the area, the bed is hard but not lumpy, perfect for me after a long flight. The air con is ice cold. It is a budget room and I'm writing this review based on the price I paid. My only criticism would be it needs some painting but it looks like it's still a project, and this is more of helpful advice to the owners rather than something that bothered me. The view out the window of the canal has boats rushing past and you can see the local houses which all looks good. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and returned my deposit. I felt safe and comfortable.

The staff were wonderful. Very kind, helpful and spoke great english. They were easily the best part of my stay. The location is good, and the value per money isnt bad.

The rooms definitely look more used and beat up than in the pictures. Nothing too bad, but didnt match my expectations. There was a small blood stain on my sheets, which I wasnt too excited about. But otherwise the room was clean.
