Our stay at the Old Capital Bike Inn was absolutely fantastic. Our family (2 adults, children 8 & 11) stayed in a family room for 2 nights, and it was a highlight of our month-long trip in Thailand. Jason and his staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, and from the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcomed and appreciated as guests. Our room was lovely, and there were too many special little details to count. It was very clean, the decor was beautiful and interesting, and our kids were thrilled to sleep in the adorable loft bedroom. Breakfast was simply fantastic, and Jason had a takeaway morning breakfast packed for us on the morning we had to be at the airport bright and early. We stayed in multiple places in Thailand over our month of travel, and this was, without a doubt, the best accommodation of our trip. We wish we could come stay again soon!

It was an amazing spot to enjoy the center of Bangkok. The breakfast was extraordinary, and they even provided a takeaway option when we were heading to the airport. Jason and the entire staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering personalized suggestions for how to spend our time based on our preferences. The room was wonderful, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. A big thanks for the thoughtful gifts as well!

We stayed in a queen room with cool mezzanine stairs which are a little rickety - worked great for a party of three people but would not suit anyone with low mobility

If you travel for unique experiences, this is it. The staffs attention to detail is incredible. Breakfast could be called one of the main attractions of your day. We stayed in the honeymoon suite (but as a family of 4, after 15 years of marriage even staying in a suite doesn’t get you lucky) every wall and surface holds a curiosity that will have you searching for more. We will be back in Bangkok and we will be staying here. I don’t want to add this detail to the negative section because it’s not but a word of warning. The steps to the bathroom, I did tell you this place was unique, are quite steep. I only state this for the operators to avoid any unnecessary bad reviews because of someone being unable to get to the bathroom.

This is a period property oozing with charm and character. Our room was on the side of the main road where all the works are currently ongoing but as the owner has installed sound insulating windows, the noise was not a problem. The breakfast was perfect, with both Thai and international choices, all cooked to order. The location was fantastic, it was close to everything and at the same time this was a reasonably quieter part of Bangkok despite being central. The owner is very keen to share tips and things to do outside the beaten track so it is great to have this insight at hand. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Bangkok.

A lovely boutique hotel a short distance away from many of the key sites in Bangkok. A warm welcome on arrival with lots of information on places of interest and things to do. We had a garden suite room which was set on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel. The room was perfect and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was pre ordered the night before to be served at a time of your choosing. There was a large selection of items both western and Thai to choose from. All the staff were friendly, engaging and happy to help. As our flight wasn’t until the evening we were kindly allowed to use a room to shower and freshen up after our last day in Bangkok. Booked a taxi via the hotel at a good fixed price to take us to the airport. We booked this hotel after a month in Thailand as we felt we deserved a little luxury before heading home. It was indeed a great choice.

Absolutely loved staying here! Cannot fault it! It was my favourite stay during our 2 weeks in Thailand, and if I ever return to Bangkok, I'll be staying here! It's like stepping back in time, a real cosy, vintage feel to the place, an absolute haven from the hustle & bustle of the streets. The building work opposite does not cause any issues at all. Jason & his staff were amazing, fantastic service, kind, helpful & always felt very safe. Definitely book onto the night bike tour - it was one of the highlights of our trip! The room we stayed in was perfect (King Suite), loved the quirky layout, and all the attention to detail - including the little gifts they left daily in our room, this was so lovely, a real personal touch, thank you.The bed was really comfy, great shower as well. Amazing breakfast (had a great gluten free menu). Thank you for an amazing stay. The location is in old Bangkok, which was perfect - it's walking distance to Khaosan Road, and loads of other great places, there's also bus stop nearby and the canal.

I loved everything about this small boutique hotel. The decor was vintage and interesting. The staff was very welcoming friendly and helpful. To top it off the included breakfast was fantastic!! I’d definitely stay here if I ever return to Bangkok.

I booked family suite for my sister and I. Not really suitable as loft bedroom up what was essentially a ladder. No capacity to take suitcase upstairs No wifi but staff worked to find a work around. Was noisier in loft I was sleeping in than main suite - which my sister found perfect.

It is an unconventional stylish inn with a strong personality, far away from the aseptic hotels we are used nowadays. The personnel is exceptional in supporting you with all your needs, and they help you to plan your activities in an overwhelming city like Bangkok. The location is excellent to visit the city. Breakfast is also nice and cooked on the spot, no buffet, but you need to choose the day before the menu and the time. Check their night bike tour, should be very fun.

There are certain conforts you need to renounce if you want to stay in such a place. No elevators, space is tight, steep staircases, in my room the private bathroom was one floor down with steep staircase. Since the bathroom was located at ground floor with a bath tube outside, it is more exposed to insects, I had to fight with a big cockroach, but not really an issue for me.
