I’ve stayed at Here Hostel Bangkok so many times now, it kind of feels like my home base in Asia. Every time I come back, I’m reminded why I love this place so much. The vibe is just right — chill during the day if you want to relax or work on your laptop, and in the evening it turns into this friendly, social space where it’s easy to meet people. On most days, there’s usually live music or something going on, and it always feels natural, not forced. The garden and pool are my personal favorites — it’s hard to believe you’re still in the middle of Bangkok when you’re lying there under the trees. It’s a perfect little escape from the heat and chaos outside. The staff are super welcoming and genuinely kind — always happy to help with tips, directions, or just a good conversation. The rooms are simple and clean, and while you might hear a bit of city noise now and then, it’s never been a problem for me. The location is also perfect if you want to explore the old town — nightlife, temples, street food, and local neighborhoods are all just a short walk away. But what really makes this place special is the people you meet. I’ve made some of my best travel memories here, and a few friendships that have lasted years. If you’re just starting your trip through Southeast Asia — or even if you’ve been traveling a while — Here Hostel is a great place to land, connect, and find your rhythm. Highly recommend it!

It's in a great location. But the staff was outstanding. Always willing to help with a smile. The place was always alive with travelers coming from everywhere. There were events and help on arranging trips. This was a place where I felt very much at home at and was also sad to leave. The There Cafe that is attached to Here Hostel, along with the patio, makes for an outstanding place to spend a few days in Bangkok. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower great!

I recently stayed at ( here hostel Bangkok )and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. Their warm hospitality made my stay very enjoyable. The location is perfect right in the heart of Bangkok, close to major attractions and public transport, making it super convenient to explore the area. Despite being centrally located, the hostel has a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. I also loved the ambiance of the hostel. The common areas are well-designed and cozy, offering a great space to meet fellow travelers or unwind. The overall vibe is laid-back and friendly, which made it easy to feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend (here hostel Bangkok) to anyone visiting Bangkok. Whether you're traveling solo or with friends, this place has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

I've had the pleasure of calling Here Hostel Bangkok my temporary home on several occasions during my extensive travels around Asia, and let me tell you, it's become my little oasis within the bustling city. The vibe at Here Hostel strikes the perfect balance between a laid-back atmosphere and lively social interactions. Whether you're in the mood for a chill evening or ready to dive into the vibrant nightlife, this place has you covered. Weekends come alive with live music, setting the stage for an unforgettable start to your night out. One of the standout features for me is the consistently high standard maintained throughout the hostel. The staff, with their super-friendly and helpful demeanour, go out of their way to make you feel at home. They've been an invaluable source of local tips and recommendations, adding that extra touch to my Bangkok experience. The rooms, depending on their locations, some might experience a bit of noise – there's a school nearby. However, this minor quibble is easily outweighed by the overall tranquil atmosphere. Most guests are up and about early, or perhaps catching a bit of extra sleep to recover from the previous night's escapades, so city noises are just part of the lively backdrop. The real showstopper, though, is the garden and pool. A fantastic retreat from the urban hustle, it's the perfect spot to unwind and soak up some sunshine. It's hard to believe you're in the heart of the city when you're lounging by the pool or enjoying the greenery. And let's not forget the location – Here Hostel is strategically placed within walking distance to many attractions around the old city area. Convenience at its best! Here Hostel Bangkok has a special place in my heart, I met some of my best travel friends here, and I'm always thrilled to come back. It's more than just a place to rest; it's a haven with a personality, making my stay in Bangkok all the more memorable.

Everything. I genuinely have no complaints. This was so lovely and me and my group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We checked out today after staying there for yes only 2 nights , but I literally wanted to stay in Bangkok longer just because of how much we loved this place. The rooms, toilets, showers, social rooms, outside/ garden area and pool, no complaints. The staff are so so lovely and welcoming, very friendly too. They do ‘pub crawl’ nights which I definitely recommend joining in if you stay here.

The staff were amazing they helped us with booking tours and any general questions we had they were happy to answer. The vibe off the hostel itself was amazing. The outdoor area was lovely and the live music was very entertaining. The food was great. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were really good sized! We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

However, we didn’t expect it to be a party hostel with people being extremely loud in the corridors. I guess, if you’re there for that exact purpose, then that’s the right place. If you’re interested in exploring the city and sleeping no later than 1:00 am, you might be better off somewhere else.

It's a very clean and well maintained hostel.The beds are comfortable, even sleeping on top in the bunk bed and airconditioning. Nice restaurant/ bar downstairs with lovely staff. You can have a fun and social night but nobody bothers you if you feel more like a quiet night. The staff is always ready to help you when needed. Also the location is very nice. Close to a nice area and only 30 minutes walk to the grand palace. It was definitely a good first experience in Bangkok.

I don't have anything negative to say about this hostel.

We had a room with a double bed, which was very nice. The shower is a bit cold, but that's not too bad in the humid Bangkok heat. The location is very good as the hostel is in a small parallel street and Khaosan Rd as well as several cafés, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. The place is full of life and lots of nice people have a great time here. I would therefore only recommend it to young people who want to party themselves. Then, the Here Hostel is a very good choice.

Unfortunately there were some stains on the bedding, including fresh blood stains (still red), which we noticed as soon as we arrived. The staff should have seen this too... At night, the building is very noisy and there is partying in the courtyard. The closing of the doors of the neighboring rooms woke us up several times in the middle of the night.

I was on my first ever solo trip (as a female) and landed in bangkok. I arrived at the hostel and I quickly realised it was the PERFECT starting place. The female dorm I stayed in was amazing. The layout was good and it was big enough so that you could easily socialise with others in your room - but not too big that you felt overwhelmed. They also have a pool - which is another great place to socialise with other guests. I met so many people at the pool with whom I spent the day exploring the city with. They also serve food all day I believe (though I never had it) which is nice if you’ve had a long day and don’t want to go to the busy streets of bangkok. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and I would also come back if I come back to Bangkok!!
