Very pleasant front office staff greeted me warmly, spoke English very well, which I needed. Spacious room & bathroom, mine had a large table, large desk, 2 large benches - lots of surface area to spread my crap out on! Decent-sized mirrors, compact fridge kept the provided bottled water chilled. Some hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. Attentive housekeeping services. It's easy enough to find and is in a great area. Cafés, restaurants & convenience stores are on the doorstep and is nearby to Khaosan Rd entertainment area, MRT and canal ferry public transport. On-site café and massage. The eatery at the entrance does amazing Tom Yum Soup! And Sae Phun Michelin-rated restaurant is a short sprint away ..cos you don't walk there, you run! It's delicious!

TV with tuner box provided but I couldn't get even a local shopping channel !! Besides, they occupied the remaining power points. Hole in bathroom ceiling occasionally dripped water - I hope it was water. Shower was hot enough but could've used some pressure. Standard SE Asia firm mattress which was fine for me but may not suit others.

I will never forget this hotel because it was my first accommodation not only in Bangkok, but in all of Thailand. From BKK there's a bus (S1) which stops at a 5-6 minutes walking distance. It is perfect for settling in after a long trip and start exploring the city the day after. Moreover, it's clean, the people at reception are friendly and the hotel has a singular charm. Not far from Khao San road you almost can feel a bit of being Richard at the beginning of the book/movie 'The Beach', when he starts his journey in Bangkok, but in a better and larger room - mine had also a balcony which was great.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly even during the late hours. The room was clean and spacious, even with the table to work at. The wifi worked great. The Air Conditioner worked well without any problems. The common shower and toilet were always clean. They also provided free water, shampoo, toilet paper, and soap (which I did not expected). The location: it is just a gem. You can walk everywhere interesting and important from that hotel. They also have a beautiful koi pond in the yard, and nice coffee shop, and massage saloons.

Very efficient & pleasant welcome. Location was fantastic particularly for those wanting to avoid the traffic & noise of Bangkok & walk to some of Bangkok's major sights.Very good food options close by.Hawker stalls,cafes,restaurants & 7/11.

I took the least expensive room.Room was very basic without a window.AC needed to be used at all times in lieu of leaving door to balcony open. Bed was big very much local style.Shared bathroom was clean but no hot water. All in all with helpful staff & location it was a good 3 nights.

Upon check-in, we were late from our intended check-in time due to some issues in our flight but the staff waited. We don't even have cash at the time, the staff even told us that we can check in already and just pay in the morning, they'll just hold one of our passports. The rooms are spacious. Though the hotel is a bit old, it is clean and they made sure that the toiletries were provided without disturbing us. They just left it in the doors.

The pillow. I hope they provide at least 2 pillows per bed instead of just 1

Lovely small hotel located at heart of bangkok, easily go to major tourist attractions by a bicycle ride or a shortwalk within 5 - 15 mins e.g. Giant Swing, Wat Suthat, Museum Siam, Khaosan Road.,The Emerald Buddha and the Palace, Wat Pho, Pahurad and etcs. Value for money, clean and comfortable bed Many restaurants and coffee shops nearby I personally enjoy staying at this hotel very much, will definitely come back again.

Limited parking space with fee 100 baht/ day for budget room A little old facility

Location is good, near temples and convenience stores. They have free parking space for guests and for taxi's. Room is comfy and clean. They have mini fridge which is nice. Air conditioning is also good. They also had free bottled water every day and new towels. There are also cafe and spa at the ground floor.

The water closet and lavatory is a bit clogged when we arrived. We didn't bother to call it to the reception since its still drains but slowly. But on our last day, the water closet clogged fully and we had to call their maintenance, though it was fixed quickly by the maintenance guy. They should check the facilities before renting to guest. Though we know this is just one room and not all rooms are like this, maybe we just got bad luck at the room given to us. Overall the room is clean and comfy to stay. No elevators so we had to carry our heavy luggage at the 3rd floor.

The location is excellent, it is easy to find and near to everything, including sights, MTR, walking distance to the Khaosan road area, or the Royal Palace etc. The area is very safe, the eateries and cafes in the nearby road are excellent (especially Thipsamai and it is practically next door, just a short walk along the canal)! The hotel itself was very quiet, surprisingly so given its location and not much noise from the corridor etc.

no problems whatsoever, perhaps another chair in the room or an armchair or something. But the room was triple the size of one I had in the budget hotel where I stayed previously, so cannot complain there!

I like that the staff are accommodating and helpful to our needs. I read review about staff that they are rude so I was a little bit worried but in actual, it is not. They are helpful and alert. I can see they make an effort to communicate with us despite language barrier. They speak English so there was no problem. The room and the 3 bed was also big. The airconditioner and hot and cold shower is functioning properly. It was a good choice to opt for the hotel if you only require for basic accommodation for sleeping. It was also a good choice to opt for the hotel because it is in central area, accessible to convenience stores, atm, food resto, transportation areas, and historic places. I also appreciate that I can do laundry in the hotel for cheaper cost. I will definitely checked in the hotel when I get back to Bangkok.

The only thing I did not like is the bathroom flush, I can clearly hear the sound of flowing water while resting so it's a little bit disrupting. But well, it's the common malfunction of bathroom fixture so it's basically not the fault of hotel service, repairable though.

Great location. Walking distance to Khaosan Road, Grand Palace, Golden Mount etc. hotel staff are helpful. Daily cleaning, daily toiletries and water, room cleaning at your request and changing beddings and towel. Free coffee. Massage shop downstairs and very close to convinience store and restaurants

Bed is a little stiff. All else are great
