Very very good value for money. The staff was polite and communicative, the room was nice and clean, ventilation working, beds comfortable. I also kind of liked the overall cosy feel of the accomodation. I felt like it didn't put up any appearances, it just is what it says it is - a decent, more than reasonably priced place to stay in central Bangkok.

We were provided with towels and some tissues, but no shampoo, soap and things like that, so just be aware of this. And a couple of other minor things to note, not really complaints: the location is quite nice, near the city hall or the Golden Mount Temple, but it is about a 20minute walk from the nearest subway station (Sam Yot). There is also no elevator, so be ready for climbing some stairs.

Everything was Ok. Normally room for normal price. For transit is best.10 min walk to Koosan road. Bus stop also near. Restaurant is wery good. Food is delicious.

This is a long established family run GUEST HOUSE. Very cheap for Bangkok, I had a fan room ,no frills but clean and convenient if you want to experience Thai Culture. The owner will setup tours and trips for you and speaks great English. This place is for true travelers and a great find. Great Thai food outlets very close by ( turn left or right!) . from the side street that you are in. Tturn left and cross the road to an amazing Bangkok Cultural centre with free singing and dancing shows daily at midday and 2 hour museum presentations about Old Bangkok. Buses will take you to nearby landmarks such as China town and The Emerald temple. Very close is a canal boat that will take you to Prathunam , Central world & Siam paragon areas.

This place is a great retrospective guest house (even older than me I guess) but it's not a problem. It's run by a family. It's also their restaurant at the lobby. The room is quite old but clean enough. The beds are fairly comfortable. NO hot shower but yeah it's goddamn hot so I didn't need it tho. The AC worked well. The owner's a great welcoming attitude although he looked exhausted maybe because he has to run his restaurant and guest house at the same time. I don't get those who didn't like the place. You get what you paid for, ain't it? I'm Thai and I find it a reasonable price for a private room and near Khaosan road and tourist areas. For judging people, please leave your ego and try to understand that this is not a five-star hotel.

Great location, although not far from the Khao San Road , this place was so quiet, no noise coming from the street. Spacious room, very large and pretty comfy beds, balcony, toilet and shower inside the room. good value for money.

The room wasn't very clean, the hall was dirty too. They were selling a fruit juice but the fridge was so dirty it would be risky to order anything from it.

Very cheap and affordable, friendly staff. There is no elevator, but the staff helped me get my heavy bag up and down. Macdonalds is very close to the guest house.

Location, quite far away from main attractions. A lot of homeless people close to the guest house.

I booked late. The place is not the Hilton but its cheap and the staff are beautiful people. So amazing and helpful. They do have a restaurant and do loads of takeaway food so can be busy during the day. You might have to call someone from the back because they are so busy. But its super relaxed, beautiful people and super cheap. Lovely lady right outside seems to make money from recycling plastic and glass bottles so give her your empties. It's what you make of it. Be good and it's good.

Park, Attractions, Sight seeing are very close and walking distance atleast 15-20 mins far apart. You can take TukTuk if you don't want to walk, affordable and you can bargain for the price a bit if you are in a very tight budget. McDo in Bangkok is half the price in Phuket. Street food are a lot cheaper, taste amazing and satisfies your cravings. Please don 't be scared to try Thai Street Food, you'll be surprise that you're palate will have a aha moment : )

Nothing really that I did not like. Just like the saying goes "you get what you paid for" I don'y expect too much for 2,800 THB for 3 nights with aircon.

Value for money, good location for what I wanted to do. Very quiet location. Big room. Air con worked great (but some rooms might not have it, take care to choose such a room when booking) Very helpful manager with decent English, he got me a reliable taxi for my trip back to the airport.

No hot water. No toilet paper (but the bum gun worked perfectly). No elevator, a lot of stairs. Long (30-40 minute) walk to MRT (trains)
