We spent two nights in Bangkok. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Khaosan Road. The location is quieter than Khaosan Road and offers numerous amenities such as cute cafes, bars, and galleries within a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel's modern decor mixed with Thai vintage added character, and the use of foliage, colors, and ambient lighting created a peaceful atmosphere in the bustling city. We enjoyed the pool after a hot day, and it wasn't too crowded in late April. Our room was on an upper floor and had a private balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The duvet-covered beds were comfortable, and the bathroom and bedroom were a sufficient size and clean, with a decent wardrobe space. We appreciated the powerful hot water rainshower and mini-fridge for cold drinks. The hotel provided Nescafé instant coffee, a kettle, and two small bottles of drinking water per day. The Wi-Fi and quiet AC worked well, and daily housekeeping was available upon request between 2-4 pm.

there were a couple of small improvements that could be made. It would be beneficial for the AC extractor vent to blow hot air away from the balcony to avoid it getting too hot. Additionally, the self-service washing machine, while convenient, was a bit expensive, and guests had to provide their own laundry soap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the discount vouchers for the cafe downstairs, which served great cold brew iced coffee. The hotel also allowed us to leave the key deposit in our own currency.

This was our 3rd time staying, each time has been better than the last in our transits through Bangkok. We are drawn to their mix of Thai antique design with modern comforts. This time we were upgraded to a spacious family room with mini balcony overlooking the river. Despite only having a narrow standing-only balcony, we were pleasantly amused by a couple of large Asian Water monitor lizards living in the tree outside our balcony, which we enjoyed observing from the balcony or the Patio door window, on the comfortable Thai triangle cushions sipping cold brew coffee from their cafe downstairs. They gave us discount vouchers to use in the cafe which we applied towards our morning coffee. The cafe opens at 8am, so for an early checkout there is also Nescafé instant coffee available. The room is clean and spacious, with daily housekeeping and water bottle top up on request. We also liked the ambient warm lighting & decent wardrobe space. Wi-Fi and aircon work well- it was great there was a strong ceiling fan in both the bedroom and the bathroom. We loved the roll-top bathtub feature in the bathroom, and the variety of linens provided (face cloths, hand towel, bath towel, and pool towel on request). good quality shampoo, conditioner and soap was provided. The pool was often very busy, despite approaching low season in Thailand, but it is kept clean & refreshing for a dip during the hot days. The garden grounds are very pretty and well maintained, and there is coin laundry if needed for 60 baht for a wash and 80 for drying. The hotel is near Khaosan road, about 10 minutes walk. There are a couple very good local family-run Thai restaurants nearby and conveniently a 7-eleven is just around the corner.

A couple minor improvements - We would have liked one more plug point next to the bed, and there can be noise heard from the bedroom depending on the respect of the neighbouring guests. otherwise we were very happy with the room and our stay!

The hotel has a good location. Close by are convenience stores and restaurants. When I stayed here the on location restaurant had opened and the food is good. My room was clean and I had enough space to put my luggage. There also are some hangers for clothes. The bathroom is clean, but a bit dark. Staff is friendly and helpfull. It is very relaxing to just sit by the pool and have a drink. The neigbourhood is quiet so I had a good nights' rest.

I payed a rather high price, so choose your moment of booking carefully. Also you need to give 2000 bath as collateral for your room key, which isn't handy when you stay here the last days of your journey. I ended up giving euro's as collateral.

The Hotel had a very relaxed but welcoming atmosphere. The staff were supportive, friendly and very willing to help us , no matter what questions we presented. From a smokers point of view , the designated area at the front of house was a relief . We enjoyed many pleasurable meals and drinks in this area and it was a great place to begin and end our days . The rooms were extremely generous in space , and the beds were not only very comfortable but huge . It was also a very nice touch to have a 2 seater sofa to alternate to . Balcony was spacious and offered a lovely view over the garden and swimming pool area and literally came into its own in the evening with the ambient lighting .

Could of done with a long mirror in the living area . And an extra power point for “both sides of the bed “ .

Food was really nice, hotel was smart and clean - nice quiet spot away from the noise and the pool area was nice and quiet. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in my 3 weeks in Thailand.

We stayed on the bottom floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants were running around upstairs in the early hours which woke us up, even with earplugs. I don;t think it was the guests fault, I think there is no insolation. Request a room on the second floor and you should have a great stay.

What a wonderful paradise this is in the hustle and bustle of hysterical Bangkok. The pool is lovely, the food is great and the service and friendliness of the staff is fantastic. It's the little things that you notice that everything is taken into account: free towels for the pool every day, you can store your belongings to take with you later, vegan breakfast yoghurts at the reception and your room is cleaned every day. I was even able to get a free upgrade to another, quieter room. I ended up staying in the room where I was already staying, because it had the least noise from road traffic. I felt very welcome.

There is sound isolation and you can therefore hear everything from the hallway. Even though I had a room overlooking the garden and pool (so I wasn't bothered by the traffic), I did hear the noise from the hallway or the air conditioning at night and a heavy hum from the elevator (I think). I'm a light sleeper, so this won't bother everyone.

Super friendly staff Easy to access main attractions of the city Delicious food and no need to look for water or other drinks somewhere else (not included in the price tho)

I know it's Thailand but the bed was quite stiff and shower water was almost never cold, but it's ok considering all the rest is great

The hotel itself has a very calm vibe. Located around 10 mins. walk from the busy Khao san road, the area is quiet, which gives you the opportunity to still relax after testing your limits in Bangkok's backpacker's haven (Khao san). It has a beautiful garden and an open-air relaxing pool. Rooms are facing the pool. I was even upgraded to a higher floor with balcony! The view from the balcony is perfection. The room has a rustic design and the bed was so comfy. The staff were very friendly as well. Although it does not offer breakfast buffet, they offer ala carte items in their cozy café downstairs, you get a big discount as well, as a hotel guest. None to be honest.

Absolute perfection.. this is a small boutique hotel that retains all the style of a typical Thai residence. Rooms are clean and comfortable and stylishly furnished. The pool areas is simply perfection and the perfect place to relax. Location is about 1 minute from the chaos of Khao San Road (but you'd never know) and the staff are super friendly and efficient. I don't often write reviews about big corporate style hotels (as they don't need it) This on the other hand is a fabulous unique boutique residence that should be experienced.

I wish I had more time in Bang kok. The location is perfect to access anywhere near the palace. Kaosan road these days is kaos. If you want to be around the local community but still close enough to the temple area, this is the best place. Beautiful premises for sure! In 5 years, the new MRT station will be established, so it will be more easier to get to the main city area.

The light in the room. I wish there are some options for guests to have bright light at night. Also, unlike the other hotel these days, the fridge is automatically off when you take the card out No TV connection.
