10/10. Fantastic. Feels very homely. There is a kitchen, super clean bathrooms, and super clean dorms. Free drinking water, free icecream, there is shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Also free morning drinks like coffee. You can also use cutleries, the microwave oven, and the refrigerator. Feels like home. Also, my check-in time was at 14:00, but I checked in at 7.30 early in the morning. The young lady was asleep, she woke up in the middle of her sleep, and did all the necessities (If you are reading this I apologise for waking you up.). No doubt - 100% recommended. They will arrange your shoes regularly, they will also clean the dustbin every now and then.

The individual room is very comfortable, the shared dorms are good too. The cleanliness is impeccable and the girls on the staff are a model of helpfulness and friendliness. When I have the opportunity to return to Bangkok, I won't think of anywhere else to stay.

It's not exactly a problem, precisely because it's so good, the individual rooms are always occupied and I had to stay in shared rooms for a long time.

I like everything, this hostel is a total value for money, good location near to Khaosan street but in a very quiet area next to the river, it has a very calm view to the river where you can enjoy any meal or just chill, the staff is extremely kind and always looking to help you. Extra things I found while staying here that might be a "decision taker" factor for you compared to other hostels: they don't charge any extra fee or deposit for the room key or towel, even they change your towel or bed sheets if you ask for it, free ice creams, coffee, and choco powder for everyone. The WiFi is fast and work well all the time I was there, and the staff is constantly cleaning around, in short words.. 10/10 place.

It's difficult to find negative things but somethings that you have to consider might be... the hostel is 4 stories building without elevator (good reason for exercise everyday), the matters are little hard (but normal, remember you are in Asia), no meals or breakfast services (which actually is not needed for the value of the hotel and all the delicious food outside).

It was very clean and centrally located. I walked to most of the places and even the bus stop is nearby. The staff is helpful. All the basic amenities are available like fridge to keep food, oven, common seating area, refillable water dispenser.

I stayed in the female dorm on the 3rd floor, it was a 4 seater room. The capsule bed was spacious and the build-in cupboard was also good but the room itself was really small. You could only stand and move a little. The shared bathrooms were tiny specially the shower room.

Nice design and cleanliness of the hostel are seen everywhere . Guests have their own access card for the dorms and the main entrance of the hostel which is very convenient. The beds are spacious , with a locker, shelf and a black out curtain, with gives good privasy. Pillow are just amazing!!! Awesome staff. Mr Che was extremely friendly and helpful. He was ready to help any time and I’m grate-full to him for it!

The only one thing that made me feel really upset is that the dorms are located on the 4th and 3rd floor. I understand, that the priority is for private rooms and a guest space. But I still was very unhappy to understand that after a long flight and road from airport ( it took 1,5 hr) with a pain in my legs and lower back - I will have to climb those stairs. I’m not a fan to climb like this everyday though. Finally Mr Che helped me to get to the last floor . I can’t say that I got used to the 4th floor stairs, I just tried not to leave my bed too often:))) Anyways, I want to say Thank You to Mr Che and other staff for being patient and friendly whatever happened. For a female solo traveler - it’s very important to meet such people, who care and make you fell safe.

Best experience in Bangkok after many times I visited this city I arrived after 27h travel and I had an issue with my grab account and no cash with me(not Thai baht but euro) the lovely gentleman at the reception paid my cab from the airport and told me not to worry till the day after when I was going to sort out the money The room was tiny but very comfortable with all the necessary Toilet and room really clean comfortable bed and shampoo and shower gel(towel as well) provided Plus there were free coffee available ice cream all day and the common area was very nice with a delicious balcony over looking the canal

Amazing Stay at LOL Elephant Hostel! I had an incredible experience staying at LOL Elephant Hostel during my trip to Bangkok. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The hostel has a fun and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for meeting other travelers while also having a peaceful space to relax. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and excellent air conditioning — a lifesaver in the Bangkok heat! The shared bathrooms were also well-maintained and tidy, with hot water and good water pressure. I especially appreciated the lockers available for securing my belongings. One of the best things about LOL Elephant Hostel is its fantastic location. It’s within walking distance of major attractions like the Grand Palace and Khao San Road, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being close to the action, the hostel is in a quieter street, so I could get a good night’s sleep. The communal areas were great for socializing, with a cool, laid-back vibe. I enjoyed hanging out in the lounge and the rooftop area after a day of sightseeing. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning my next adventures. Overall, LOL Elephant Hostel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fun, affordable, and comfortable stay in Bangkok. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!

Very clean, quite, fancy, luxury, hostel One of the best hostels in Bangkok Every single bed have a small fan, two power sockets and two lamps Very clean bathrooms with a hot water heater Very excellent location in bangkok and you can reach it from the airport for only one bus ( S1 ) You should take off your shoes at the main entrance and there is a shoes cabinet for all guests There is a kitchen it includes a coffee, tea, ice cream and water and all for free Very nice and helpful people There are two balconies, one in the ground floor and the second in the first floor with a great view of river Last thing there is no elevator there

This is by far the BEST hostel I’ve stayed at in Bangkok. Here’s why: 1. It’s centrally located near Khao San road, but far enough that you don’t hear any noise from the partying or hustle and bustle. 2. The staff are so so so sweet. I felt comfortable going to them if needed. Very soft spoken and kind people. One of the staff offered me to switch to a bottom bunk when there was space, which I really appreciated. 3. It was superbly clean. The bathrooms, beds, dorm rooms, common areas were well taken care of. The staff was constantly cleaning so everything was sparkling. 4. Cute common area! There were a few chairs at a table, a couch in front of a tv, and an outdoor deck area that overlooked the river with a few tables. Free coffee was available as well as drinking water, and they had free ice cream and popsicles from 3-5pm daily! 5. It was a nice quiet hostel, which is what I prefer. I still had chit chats with a few other guests but it definitely isn’t a party hostel. There were a few families and older guests when I stayed.

I have stayed in many different hostels before and I can definetly say this hostel was the best! - its very clean. The stuff cleaning the hostel every hour. - its very safe. You will have a card which is the only way to open all doors. - its very central. İts located in the middle of the neighborhood. Just 5 minutes away by walk to Khao San road. Very close to the airport bus stops. - they have free ice creams, coffee and refillable free water. And special thanks to NUNU the girl at the reception. She is the best. She answers all your questions, trying to do her best to help you. I will definetly come back whenever I visit Bangkok again.
