Super safe, classy, multicultural and quiet. Very cool and efficient . Great view from terrace, cool living space (love the post it wall) nice lounge. Nice location very towny few steps to of Sathon skyscrapers district, BTS and boats. Art galleries are everywhere around and street art quarters are 5 min drive. Pretty strategic if you like action and visiting. Private room are just delightful however I’ve never been in a quieter dormitori before. Unbelievably quite. Best well educated and respectful community ever encountered. Free snacks and water are a bliss.

The terrace could be enhanced with beans bags and music, a vending machine, some boarding games, cards maybe some art equipment, paper, pencils. The keys to open the lockers are too noisy to handle in mixed dormitories, a digital system would be way better suited for such a gem 💎 as much as a shoe racket would be of use at stairs. Little details can improve the style and give the final touch.

The staff is kind, the breakfast is affordable and delicious, and the rooftop is a great place to hang out. I also like the storage set-up in the rooms - wish more hostels could offer the shelf option in their lockers.

The showers are small and need more care - they have great potential, but there is little room to move around which increases your chances of accidentally touching the shower walls (which is not fun seeing as they aren't that clean-looking, in my opinion). Just an FYI: If you have a lot of luggage, be aware that this hostel can go up to five floors which can turn into quite the workout.

If you are looking for a low cost accommodation in Bangkok this is a very good option. The hostel is nice, clean, organized and most importantly, no noise at night. The staff is very friendly, with easy communication in English and very willing to help you. We needed to check in late due to our flight and the staff did not hesitate to help us, everything was very easy. There is a supermarket 20 minutes away on foot, a subway station 15 minutes away and several 7-elevens less than 10 minutes away.

I loved the roof top, definitely the best place where to spend time in the evening. I liked that there’s a spacious bed, high enough that you can sit upright, there were two big lockers what is very convenient if you’ve got a lot of stuff. It was good that there are separate shower rooms and toilet, so you shouldn’t wait for long. I liked the style of the hostel, felt really like in tropics. You have to have 500 bath for a deposit and 40 bath for renting a towel.

It wasn’t clean in the room and the toilet and bathroom, but it was okay in the corridors and the common area. No opportunity to pay by card for the staying.

Loved my stay at Tropical Summer Cafe! Such a cozy and relaxing place with a great vibe. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs had amazing food and coffee – perfect for chilling out. Great location too! I’d definitely stay here again. India 🇮🇳

Wonderful hostel with the nicest stuff! I really enjoyed my stay! The location is fantastic! Close to BTS but in a nice quiet street with many street food options. The cafe is great as well and you can order delicious food and coffee :)! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, it's easy to meet other travellers and the hostel is super clean too! Oh, and you'll get so much lockable storage it's insane! Thank you for a great stay!

The mattress is hard, but now that I'm in another place, I noticed it's the same type, so it must be a Bangkok trend lol

Loved my stay at Tropical Summer Hostel, I had to change my travel plans and that confused my booking, the staff were very accommodating and even waited half a day after I had checked in for me to pay while I went and to got the cash out. The hostel is in a very central location in Bangkok the food cooked in the cafe is both affordable and delicious. Would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Bangkok!

Helpful stuff Clean room and good Location 15 min walk from the BTS, it's located in smaller streets, safe neighborhood, where you can still get food until 21 o'clock. Good value for money, if you plan on staying longer in Bangkok.

Our mistake was staying here for one night, too much hassle. Longer stays would be recommend

I really liked the accommodation: there is a relaxation area, the place is well-maintained and cleaned, the beds are comfortable (firm, but I liked it), and there is a wonderful city view from the rooftop. There is a 7/11 nearby, nice cafés, as well as the BTS and parks.
