Clean, unique styling, great pool area, cool heritage listed building attached in courtyard with swanky bar and restaurant inside.

Less youthful than most W hotels. Seemed quite formal everywhere except the pool. Great if you like dressing up nicely to go out and have a drink or two. The bar had very a unusual promotion: “Two (approved) drinks for the price of one during happy hour” When we went to order two of the same cocktail at once however, the response was “sorry you cant order that as there is no sharing allowed”… we tried several times to understand what they meant but couldn’t figure it out and ended up grabbing a cocktail at another bar down the road.

The most amazing experience staying at the W hotel, so much so we changed our flight from the beaches to stay two more nights. Magnificent, welcoming and curated to create the most magical experience for us! We did not want to leave, everything carefully considered and curated by the amazing staff to make your stay an incredible experience. The breakfast buffet is a must! Highly recommend it for a romantic and comfortable stay. The MOST comfortable beds in Thailand. Do yourself a favour and indulge in the luxury of the W, you won't be disappointed.

Super cool hotel representing W brand very well, staff were very friendly and efficient

Location is not good for tourists, hardly any restaurants, spas, malls or activities nearby. So much traffic on the main street. We spent an average of 2 hours a day in taxis. This location is good for business but if you are a tourist then I would recommend staying elsewhere.

we had a corner room in the 25th floor which was really great - nothing to complain - simply perfect. Breakfast was also superb, staff super friendly and helpful. All in all the best hotel we have stayed in BKK so far. Also the area is quite cool with Mahanakhon tower just a 3min walk away with the highest sky bar in BKK - amazing. We will come back for sure!

The room and facilities are great, couldn't ask for anything more. It was convenient to walk through the (air-conditioned) Sathorn Square building to reach Chong Nonsi BTS station and having a 7/11 closeby. It was always easy to get a Grab/taxi directly to/from the hotel (other locations in Bangkok can sometimes be gridlocked with traffic).

The location was a bit out of the way from the central hustle and bustle, which might some suit some people. At night you may hear traffic from the main road but didn't bother us as we aren't light sleepers.

My family and I had a bad experience at a previous hotel in the area. We decided to go with the W for the second part of our trip. Crystal, the front desk manager, I think, greeted us and made the entire stay pleasant. She gave our daughter special amenities too! We reserved a ride back to the airport at the end of the trip. We forgot our passports so the staff immediately reacted and drove the passports to us at the airport. Natti (sp?) waited with us the entire time at the airport until we were through security.

W Bangkok delivers well on its promise in many ways. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with a stylish design that feels true to the W brand. The food, especially at the Japanese restaurant, is excellent, and the gym and pool are perfect for relaxing or staying active during your stay. Overall, it’s still a great place to stay, but some updates and attention to details like this would help the hotel fully live up to its reputation.

I did experience a minor issue with the tablet in my room—it wasn’t working properly, which meant I couldn’t adjust the AC or use the "Do Not Disturb" feature. Although I informed room service, it wasn’t resolved during my stay. Additionally, the hotel is starting to feel a bit dated compared to newer W properties.
