We received excellent service during our very short, 2night stay from the moment we arrived with a great welcome, a cold drink and a refresher towel. The room was exactly as we requested, high floor, quiet area and a double bed. The quality of the room fitments were very high standard and felt locally appropriate. The breakfast choice was very high with a good range of items which were produced with attention to detail and quality, right down to the way they were served and presented. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was very high indeed. The location was excellent for visiting the many temples and China town was within walking distance. The MRT was a few minutes walk away for connecting with the rest of Bangkok.

I really enjoy a good swim each day however the pool is very small so this would not really be possible. Given the pools location in the centre of the hotel on the ground floor, adjoining the reception and restaurant, it would also feel like you are in a 'goldfish bowl'. However at least they were able to offer the opportunity to use the pool as a means of cooling off and relaxing which a lot of places in a busy city centre are unable provide.

Great service from the front desk staff, very attentive and going the extra mile to assist us. Facilities were super clean and styled. They have a beautiful pool that bc not enough time I couldn't enjoy but looked appealing. Room is great: silent, clean, styled. Bed is super comfy, sheets felt clean and fresh, pillows soft and fluffy. They have a big rug on front of the bed that I could use for stretches. Bathroom, met expectations: clean, good light, water temperature and pressure. Our room had a bath very helpful after a long day. The location is perfect for touristing the Bangkok main highlights like temples, Chinatown, palace, markets, etc. I will definitely return to this hotel and recommend it.

Very classy and convenient hotel, large rooms with everything’s needed, a small but convenient pool (we did not test as there are so many things to see in Bangkok) located a walk away from the palaces and temple, nested in the old town, 200m from a tube station. The staff was very helpful and friendly as always in Thaïlande !

Not the hotel’s fault but the area is busy now (April 2024) by tube extension works but no impact on the hotel tranquility.

There was not as much attention to detail this time as I have had in my past days there. For examples, we asked that the non-vegetarian snacks be given in our room and they did that most days, but forgot on one of the days. They came by our room one night to give us information about checking out the following day in error (when we were still staying for another week), and they gave us information on the testing of their fire, alarm, but we never experienced that test, despite being told it would happen in the morning and getting concerned about that. It would be nice if they offered some sort of complementary amenity like free breakfast to compensate for all the problems that they had, but they chose to only offer a small discount on breakfast, which was insufficient from our perspective.

The property is attractive and well maintained on a busy road through an old district in Bangkok, close to major temples and other sights. Along the street outside was a variety of eating places. A local friend had suggested some recommended eateries down some of the laneways. During the day time at least, ladies with flags assisted pedestrians in crossing the busy road. I believe there is a subway stop around the corner but some construction barricades made this less visible to me and I didn't need to make use of it. The room was comfortable and an adequate size for my four night stay. A separate bathroom and shower worked well. Sleep was assisted by a comfortable bed. Breakfasts were a choice of Asian or western items which were well presented and filling. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and communication was easy. There is a large lobby with tables or seats for chatting with friends or enjoying a drink.

The hotel was clean, the people were friendly and the location was excellent for visiting the historic centre.

We asked for a driver to bring us to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and we paied 4500 bath for the service. Unfortunately the taxi driver took us to an isolated pier where we were quickly greeted by some women who wanted to sell us an excursion for 4000 Baht. The scam we discussed with the driver. Explaining to him that we didn't want to be taken to those places but directly to the market. We wasted a lot of time with both the ladies and the driver to explain where we wanted to be taken. In the end the driver capitulated and took us to the correct place were we paid only 600 bath for a private boat tour.

The hotel facilities are brilliant, very clean, and the staff are lovely. The rooms are well equipped, and the pool/bar area is perfect for relaxing. The location is in a great neighbourhood.

The service truly elevated the stay—every staff member was kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure guests feel valued. Housekeeping deserves special mention as well, with rooms cleaned spotlessly every day. Excellent location in walking distance of many attractions. Hotel Villa Pranakorn delivers an exceptional experience, combining a boutique charm with outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Lovely and comfy! Definitely worth the money. The hotel rooms and services match those of a 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious with huge windows and are well-designed, well-equipped with whatever you need: bathrobe, hairdryer, iron, kettle, coffee maker, etc. The hotel was quiet, and I highly recommend it for couples. The pool was clean. There were four relaxing chairs by the pool, but we never saw more than that many people using it. The location was great, close to good restaurants, the MRT, and temples. + They provided us with lots of free snacks and bottled water every day, which gave us the feeling that they were generous. + The staff were kind and did not show up unnecessarily, allowing us perfect privacy. + Having a hot tub in the room was fun, and the design was very functional. I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom and shower were great, but sometimes I had to wait around 5 minutes for the water to get hot. It wasn't a big deal.
