W Station Hotel boasts an optimal location in close proximity to the Wongwian Yai Skytrain Station (BTS), a mere 5-minute walk away, facilitating convenient access to public transportation. Furthermore, its adjacency to a 7-11 store enhances the hotel's convenience. Despite its distance from the city center, the accessibility provided by the nearby skytrain facilitates seamless travel to central areas. However, it's noteworthy to mention that the absence of a safety box and complimentary slippers within the room amenities may present a minor inconvenience for guests seeking these facilities.

The staff were very accommodating, polite and cheerful. The room was well cleaned. Beddings were prepared good. I love the big windows, it made me feel comfortable even sorroundings were unfamiliar (since im a tourist). They’re also very thoughtful of putting up a beautiful towel decor with a birthday greeting. Honestly, i came back with a smile on my face when i saw it. Thank you! Supplies such as toilet paper and water were generously supplied. I love Khuun, the German Shepherd dog. He’s such a sweet boy. Love their food as well. There’s also has a cute bar where you can hangout right downstairs of the property.

There’s no bedroom slippers. The water kettle is a bit dusty and rusty so i was hesitant to use it. The TV doesn’t have english channels or at least cable but not so a big deal. Though the room is not smelly but a bit of a room spray will be a good addition to its beauty.

Handy location near to the BTS. Lovely big room with rain shower. Very clean. Limited restaurant menu but nice food and very reasonably priced as was the bar. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel was far enough out of the way to offer some peace and quiet but a short journey into the centre of Bangkok. it was an ideal spot for families. the price was very reasonable indeed. I would happily stay there again and would recommend it without hesitation.

I paid for breakfast believing it was a buffet. it wasn’t. I don’t know why but the breakfast menu was very limited indeed and I had breakfast out instead. No room safe?!? I have never stayed in a hotel with no room safe!!!

Check-in was smooth and the staff were really kind and welcoming. I chose this hotel because of the atmosphere in the photos, and it didn’t disappoint. The vibe was warm and cozy, not cold or clinical with harsh white lights like many places. The interior had a comfortable, inviting feel, just like the staff. I also appreciated that it wasn’t a huge hotel: it felt more personal. The restaurant had fair prices and the food was genuinely delicious. You can tell they really know how to cook. I was honestly amazed by how good it was.

The room was a bit smaller than I expected. Also, I had to pay for a broken glass that I didn’t break. It was in my room and after housekeeping had been there, I found the drinking glass with a crack in it. I hadn’t even used it. I didn’t want to get into a discussion on my second day there so I did not explain it and just paid for it.

The hotel is outside the main area of Bangkok, but it's very easy to get to as the Wongwian Yai BTS Station is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. They also have many animals around the property. A friendly German shepherd, birds, koi fish, and cats. There are two 7-11 also within 5 minutes of a walk. The staff from the girls at the front desk to the cleaners and security are lovely, helpful, and very attentive. Please do put your 'Do not Disturb' magnet on your room plate outside so the maids know you do not need room service. As for the rooms itself, it was clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable, and windows had blackout curtains, which was a nice touch. The shower had good water pressure. We were also given two bottles of water and a new roll of toilet paper every day. Overall, we had a very pleasant 1 week stay at W station, so thank you so much to the great staff. This place was lovely to stay at and was a great value for what we paid for.

The room could have had a smart TV as we preferred to watch YouTube and Netflix over Thai programs. But this is only our own preferences. Also, using the shower was a bit awkward with water coming out of both nozzles. It would be nice to be able to choose between the rainfall shower or the normal one.

W Station is highly recommended. I booked four rooms, all of which were clean (they clean daily), with modern interiors and comfortable beds. 2 bottles of water were provided and being replaced everyday The receptionist and staff were attentive, helpful, and some could speak English. The hotel offers luggage storage, a lobby area with tables for dining, and a small veranda for smoking and relaxing. The elevator is functional. It is a five-minute walk to the nearest BTS station and about 30 minutes from BKK airport. Overall, the stay was satisfying, and I highly recommend it!

The AC in two rooms worked perfectly, but rooms 403 and 407 took a long time to cool down. We reported this to the reception, and they immediately offered to transfer us to another room. Since we preferred not to move, they provided an electric fan instead.

Service: The hotel seems to be short on reception staff. Staff seems to be running back and forth between the reception counter and kitchen. They speak passable English but at times they couldn't understand my request. Google Translate helps a lot! On the day of my check out, there was only 1 staff because it's a public holiday. Her name is May and she had to answer phone calls, attend to guests at the reception, attend to LINE messages from guests, instruct kitchen staff, serve breakfast, clear tables. Please reward this dedicated staff! Please assign more staff to improve your service and to support staff learning by giving them English classes. Environment: Wong Wianyai is the perfect location for a quiet stay outside the busy area and yet convenient enough to get to town. Stay here if you want to avoid traffic jams and too much noise. BTS Wong Wianyai is just 5 mins walk from hotel, 20-30mins BTS ride to Siam shopping area, 15mins on Grab to Talat Phlu market (old market with lots of good food), 2 BTS stops to The Mall Thapra, 2 BTS stops to Saphan Taksin/Bangrak area where you can shop at Robinsons mall, eat street food, have a massage, or walk your way up to Chinatown. If you walk across Wong Wianyai BTS, there're plenty to see and eat. The famous Somsak Pu Ob and Tub Tim Krob are within walking distance. Yums! Room: The room is clean and looks exactly like the photos. It's the perfect size for one person, not too small or big. Comfortable bed with good air conditioning. I stayed on Level 6 and it's very quiet unless guests close their doors roughly. The corridor is not carpeted so there's some echo whenever someone opens the door. TV channels are a bit disappointing with almost all channels in Thai. Bathroom: Toilet paper quality is quite bad and finishes very quickly. Shower pressure is good. I don't have issue with water temperature.

Breakfast: I ordered breakfast for my last day. Arranged for 9am. Came down at 9.10am and there was nobody at the reception. The staff was busy helping in the kitchen. Took some time for her to finish attending to other matters, before my breakfast was served. Porridge set meal is passable. Can be better. The buffet area is quite disappointing. Looks untidy. Tip: Ask for receipt upon payment for room. Install LINE app and add @wstation for room service. There's no phone in the room to call. Texting is fastest. Check out Drop by Dough at Reference Sathorn condo behind the hotel (IG: @dropbydough). They serve very good doughnuts and coffee.

Client service and experience was very good! Friendly and accomodating staff and always making sure the room is clean. W Station is more like the neighbourhood hotel, that's very cozy and you can see a lot of thought has gone into the design, space and rooms trying to maximise every space possible. Also quieter nieghbourhood compared to most in Bangkok, it's very cozy and family orientated - made me relaxed and forget abit about the fast paced life back home in South Africa. Good location, can catch a quick bolt to Iconsiam, central world, all great hotels by the river. Super helpful staff and nice spacious bed. Daily water bottles were provided and toilet tissue, which was nice. Whenever we needed help, the staff attended to it straight away. For anyone who wants a good deal to travel outside most of the day in Bangkok and only crash to sleep - it’s great value for money.

Mostly things around the hotel itself. The bathroom is dated, hot water wasn’t working at first but the staff was very helpful and fixed it right away. Although the water pressure of the shower and flush system is very poor. No clothing iron in the room but can get one from house keeping which has a very old stand. The hairdryer is below average, definitely needs an upgrade.

The price - this is great value for money. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Special mention to Kha-nun, the resident dog of the hotel. Location - the hotel was only about 5 minutes away from the Wongwian Yai station. Iconsiam is just two stations (transfer to another line included) away.

Breakfast options weren't that varied. So if you're staying for 4 nights or more and you choose to have your daily breakfast at the hotel, this might be a challenge. Food is still good, though.
