i loved the staff, the accommodation and the spa was exceptional

The beach was clean but the sea was very dirty and we could not swim in in comfortably.

The property was excellent! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and a pleasant stay. The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of fresh options. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

I’ve encountered during my stay in room 504. There seems to be a significant mosquito problem in the room, which has been causing discomfort and affecting the quality of my stay.

Amazing service, very friendly and responsive personnel. Room itself is gorgeous and very clean. Breakfast is great, swimming pool is very clean and nice. Facilities are great, nice 24 hours gym, fantastic restaurants and bar.

While the beach itself is very nice, with amazing sunbeds, nice and silky sand, the sea is very shallow and rocky with limited water circulation as it’s located at the bay. So not the best place to swim, however main chaweng beach is accessible from 10 minutes taxi/bile ride, so it’s not really a big issue. Another issue for a light sleepers, if you choose the pool suite,, you will have neighbors on top of your room. And since the floor is wooden, with empty air pockets, without any soundproofing, you will hear every footstep from upstairs.

The room was well appointed and the property was well maintained and had fabulous staff. The tree top restaurant had exceptional staff and first class views.

We recently spent 3 nights at Anantara Lawana Resort in Koh Samui in their Pool Villa Suite, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and personalized welcome by Oshin and Kevin at check-in. Their friendliness instantly made us feel at home and set the tone for a relaxing stay. The Pool Villa Suite itself was spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. The private pool added that perfect touch of luxury and privacy we were looking for. The room was well-maintained, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a serene getaway. Breakfast each morning was a treat – a generous spread with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. A special thanks to Mint, who always greeted us with a smile and ensured we had everything we needed. Her attentiveness and warmth made our mornings even more enjoyable. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to RK at the reception, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. He was always available, responsive to every request, and made sure all our queries were taken care of promptly. A special mention to the housekeeping team for the beautiful decoration they arranged in our villa for our baby’s 1st birthday celebration. It was touching, thoughtful, and made the occasion even more memorable for us. Overall, it was a truly fantastic stay and we are grateful to the entire Anantara Lawana team for their hospitality. We will cherish these memories and definitely look forward to returning!

Staff,location,and inside the villa(decoration etc ..) was amazing

We stayed in private villa.PRIVATE ! even the villa was surrounded with green plants, inside the villa and around PRIVATE POOL was showed by everybody who passed our villa in the street .i stayed with my husband and it was our honeymoon.Really Anantara's style shouldnt have been like that. We realized afterwards and felt really as if we were staying on street. + As were smoking in the smoking area we were warned harsly by waiter to not to smoke bc there is baby (distance 1 km.away ) nonsense .i disturbed by baby existance as well but i didnt complaint why we had to strict our self to smoke in SMOKING AREA THAT WAS DETERMINED AREA BY HOTEL GOVERNMENT!!!!

The staff at the hotel are so accommodating and really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. In particular Mint and Alex went above and beyond. The location of the hotel is so convenient far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the local town which is also great to dip in and out of , fabulous local Thai restaurant and good clean massage establishments in short walking distance. Big shout out to Kato Kate’s the best Thai food we have ever had and so inexpensive.

There are certain areas including restaurant areas that certainly need renovation but this is all going ahead over the next 3 months , we can’t wait to visit again and see the transformations.

Once you step into the hotel you immediately feel a sense of zen and tranquility. All the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay very comfortable and memorable. They even prepared a nice decoration and small cake to celebrate our honeymoon and birthday. Service is top notch and every time we ask for something they wil attend to it quickly. Also enjoyed the buggy service to go around the hotel although walking is not too far as well. The breakfast spread was really good and it’s such a charm to eat by the beach and listen to the waves. I’ll return again definitely
