It was a very quaint and comfortable place to stay. The location was good, a small walk up a hill included though so that is something to consider if you have mobility issues. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Air con was a life saver. The pool was lovely, a good size for a smaller property. The staff/owners were so kind and thoughtful, from sharing their watermelon with us on a hot day to giving us a lift to the ferry port when we left. Cannot rate them more highly. Recommend you stay there 100%.

There wasn't much to complain about. However if we had to be picky with something it would be that the place could do with a little TLC. The owner told me how the hotel was shut for 3 years due to covid so take that into consideration when placing judgements on the old box TV sets and a few missing tiles.

Did not have breakfast but the stay was wonderful, a little cozy resort very close to Chaweng main road, easy access to beach and sights nearby. Wonderful staff always ready to assist you at every need. Natty has been exceptionally helpful to make the stay fun and pleasant.

Nothing not too like, the resort has been re-open recently after the brutal 3 years of Covid-19 restrictions so things were still a bit on the renovation side but the rooms are quite large and comfortuable.

Really a lovely vibe in this hotel. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms, pool in the middle of the place. Owners speak good english so it was fun to chat. They even have books to share and affordable taxi service. 3 restaurants are across the street.

I only stayed one night in transit, so never got to explore around. The pool was under maintenance repair (so future guests can enjoy it) as it was the low season & the right time to do the works. The room was like an apartment. I was sooo impressed & right next to the pool...it felt like my own private pool!!

apart from the pool being out of commission for major repairs (which I fully understand)...just nice to have net curtains on the rear windows (I can't remember of there were any on the front!?! so privacy can be kept whilst letting in light

This place is a great value. My girlfriend loved the four-poster bed. In the mornings there is coffee, toast and jam, crossants, fruit, etc. The staff is very friendly. This was the only place we stayed where the wifi really worked, and worked well. The pool was excellent. It's a five or ten minute walk to the beach which is lined with expensive hotels where you'd pay six times what you pay at the Meewaya. There are excellent restaurants just meters from the hotel. The hotel is close to the airport.

I'm not a fan of Chaweng beach. The water is shallow. Just not a really inviting beach.

Really nice property and the pool impressed me more than I expected. The staff are amazing, especially the front desk worker who is always smiling. She helped us set up our long travel day and made sure it was the cheapest price - there was no fee for her booking it through her. The air conditioning was nice and the rooms are quite big compared to what you’ll get for the price elsewhere.

There aren’t THAT many places to lay by the pool, but still we never had a problem finding one. It’s a little far from main town, but you should already know that when you’re booking and looking at the map

Perfect housekeeping. The place is very well-maintained. There is a shared kitchen area with some basic utensils, like cutlery, bowls, plates, toaster. The pool is small, but we enjoyed it. The apartments are very spacious with your bedroom at the back so you aren't bothered by any noise. There is a very good restaurant next to the pharmacy on the other side of the main road. The food is absolutely perfect, we've been there 4 times and tried different dishes.

You def need either a car or a scooter since it is a huge island, might be difficult at times to park your car

We had a lovely stay, we had one of the bigger rooms and it was huge! Room was cleaned to a high standard. Very comfortable bed, we had a separate area with a lounge, TV, fridge, sink and kettle which was great. We also had outdoor seating. The pool was lovely too. Very friendly staff. We hired a scooter and it was 200 baht per day with no deposit! Also booked our onward travel to Koh Tao through the hotel and we had no issues with this as we were picked up on time. To walk down into the main area of Chaweng it was about 15 minutes, so slightly out of everything but only a 4/5 min scooter ride to the centre. There is a 7/11 about a 5 min walk away and there are a few restaurants around that are within closer walking distance. Would recommend!

Lots of mosquitoes around the garden area but obviously nothing the hotel can do with that!

The rooms are big & clean, nice size pool outside and the staff are really welcoming :) Good Location close to Chaweng but the area is nice and quiet at night, about 15 minute walk into the center of Chaweng but the buses pass the hotel all the time. There’s some really nice restaurants opposite the hotel and a 7/11 a short walk away. The beach is about a 5 minute walk and there’s lots of resorts on the beach to grab food too.
