We had duplex 101 right by the pool. It was great; we could use it around the clock. It was child-friendly with great staff who helped look after the kids. The resort had a very nice style and a very pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection.

The hotel is right on the beach, as described, but the section of beach directly adjacent to the hotel is very narrow and not very nice, with trash and glass bottles in the water. But just a few hundred meters further on to the right, towards the ARK Bar, there's a great beach. It's beautiful!

Friendly staff, good coffe on breakfast, really nice lady who made omlett. A lot of stairs because the hotel is located on a hillside, but otherwise the surroundings are very beautiful and well designed, there is a gym, quiet. all problems will be solved quickly.

The hotel is located on the beach, but there are no beach chairs for sunbathing. There are beach chairs on a concrete area, so basically everything is there.

I like room 803 - fabulous size & amazing location. We love the welcoming and helpful staff and the relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was great and the service wonderful.

I feel The Briza should be more precise with their maintenance & make the finish more professional, so the discerning traveler is not disappointed, as the location is outstanding & premium. Eg, don’t leave unfinished concrete on the deck chair deck. Use tiles instead of painted outdoor areas - also was slippery when wet. Fix broken tiles, and paint straight edges & don’t splash paint.

It was in a great location, not in the centre of the busy streets. We couldn’t hear flights coming over. We were able to get a tuk tuk or taxi from the front of our hotel, at a great price. The Fire Show and dinner was a great experience and the meal was better than expected. The staff were extremely helpful and offered great advice about experiences and tours.

Getting around the hotel was probably the only issue, so many stairs and ramps. It wasn’t all bad though, the rooms were more spread out so you couldn’t hear neighbours. We rang reception to ask them to help us get our luggage and they came down with the golf cart without hesitation.

This is a ideally situated hotel right on the beach. There are steps and slopes to contend with so not great for people with poor mobility. Rooms were spotless and well supplied with towels coffee etc. Own tv in the rooms. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. Food was of a good quality, we where B&B and chef did freshly cooked fried eggs omelette etc This is a lovely hotel and well worth a visit. Tip_ we had room 806 which complied on one big separate villa with a 2nd having two single beds in with own bathroom facilities. This particular room chosen had its very own private swimming pool which was absolutely brilliant after a long day exploring . Pool was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The restaurant and beach was only a short walk away.

If I had to pick out anything I would say the main pool was very enclosed which we only used once. It did have a swim up pool bar til 4pm.

The staff were wonderful. Ken in particular was outstanding. He booked our tours, engaged with the kids and was just a fabulous person who we miss! Every day asking how we were and checking that we were being looked after

My only real complaint is the TV in the villas. It was very backward with very few channels. An upgrade to a smart TV would make a huge difference when wanting to just relax at night. But that is a small complaint

The resort was very beautiful, the service of the employees was very very good, the friendliness was top notch with a rating of 10/10. We stayed in a villa by the sea with a private pool no. 802 and no. 803 Special praise and thanks to the manager Ken Solakha who took care of everything we needed!!! Breakfast was very tasty (international, Thai) Overall, trustworthy and we definitely recommend this resort for a vacation. We will definitely return at least once a year. We have no complaints, except that there was an unpleasant smell coming from the sea every night after 10-11 pm, which I don't think is the resort's fault.

Only downfall was the mosquitos at breakfast at the restaurant I got 17 bites on the first morning during the 10 mins I was sat there

The location was at the quieter end of Chaweng, which suited me fine. It was still near a few really good restaurants, a 7-11 and laundry services. The room was spacious and the aircon was effective. Extra large pool towels were excellent. A firm, comfortable bed. The safe was large enough for a laptop. The wifi was good!

The layout of the property meant I could see straight into the villa opposite me and they could see me too. I could also hear everything going on in their villa… I had a front row seat to their chaos and drama. The property was on a hill, so it was very steep to walk through the hotel. If you have mobility issues, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Breakfast was okay, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. House keeping left the door to the outdoor area open so mosquitos kept getting into the room. A bright room at night time.

The staff is very firendly, and tried to make you sure we had an enjoyable stay. The room are very big and we were lucky to have a room that had recently been renovated. The hotel is currently under renovation. There are still some part of the hotel that needs renovation, but for the price offered, I think it is very good value. The breakfast buffet was really good too with a choice of Thai food and european food.

While the hotel is technically in Chaweng beach, it is right at the edge. The hotel has a direct access to the beach, but this part of the beach is not ideal to spend a day. When the tide is up, there is no beach, and when it is low tide, swimming is not ideal at this part. Chaweng centre and the best part of Chaewenf beach are about 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
