*We visited for a week over New Year so peak season* The location is ideal if you want to be close to the action, not in it. You can walk along the beach, towards Chaweng, in the evening and stop off at one of the many bars / restaurants to catch a fire show, grab a drink, eat, etc. The property is situated on a quieter part of Chaweng beach which is kept clean by the property staff. You’re a couple of footsteps from the calm sea which is fine for swimming but also have a decent size pool with loungers available at both locations. The bar staff will wait on you so need to move, if that’s your objective. The inclusive breakfast is basic (as mentioned in many of the reviews) however I found it more than adequate. They have a small buffet with a Thai offering (stir fry, rice or noodles), bacon, baked beans, sausage, etc. with an array of bakery goods. There is also a live cooking station doing eggs, noodle soup, pancakes and waffle’s. We had suite 101 with pool access. The pool is shared by a couple of the other ground floor suites but is set out in such a way so as to give you plenty of privacy. The room is a great size with a quality bathroom (shower was awesome) and sliding doors opening up on to a nice covered deck which also got plenty of sun and the private pool access.

The restaurant is very quiet of an evening which I believe is down, in some part, to the overpriced menu. The food isn’t great and the options are fairly limited in comparison to elsewhere. We ate there once because we were too tired to go out and it wasn’t great. Otherwise, I don’t have anything negative to say about the stay.

Boutique Hotel with only 36 rooms and 9 villas (hope I am correct) , is not too noisy, there are lots of space for everyone. Breakfast is basic but is nice. Swimming pools facing the seas. the beach is clean. 12mins Walking distant to the busy street / night market and Mall

The location of the Hotel is at Chaweng Noi beach, it is a bay with swallow seas bed and the wave is block by 2 tiny island just 50m into the seas, hench, you hardly able to hear the soothing sound of the wave hitting the shore

This resort is an absolute gem. It's considered to be in Cheweng, but it is on the outskirts. Which suited us fine because it was only a 20-30 minute walk into the main area of the beach or main street. That allowed us to move around during the day and the bonus is it's not directly under the noisy fight path like the other resorts that are closer to the beach. It's seclusion gives it a luxurious, adult-like feel. Even though it's not adults only, there were minimal children and the families we came across were very respectful. The buffet breakfast is 10 out of 10 and the staff are just lovely. The beach out front is swimmable to a certain extent, but very shallow - so not really. On high tide, a 5 minute walk to the left will bring you to some nice, turquoise, swimmable water. Another 20 minutes to the right will bring you to the main Cheweng Beach which is a beautiful beach with clear, blue, calm water.

It's such a beautiful pool area with a swim up bar however, management really needs to review the vibe and cocktail options. In the late afternoon there is no music to be played, and their cocktail offer does not compete with any surrounding resorts. I've never come across such a strict condition when using a cocktail offer, but they're offer is Buy one cocktail get the "same" cocktail. So even when taking up this offer, the bar staff were insisting that the two drinks needed to be made at the same time. This is unacceptable to have a drink go warm why you're trying to finish the first one. There is only one shower head in the shower which is a rose head fitting (hard for females who want to have a shower and not get their head/ hair wet).

The resort is very quiet and nice decorated. Breakfast is good and a very good staff and service. The location is good close to Chaweng main road, few minutes walk. The stuff is very nice, I celebrated my birthday once , and they brought me a cake and candles which was very excited and nice

The rooms and facilities are noted to be a bit ancient, and it could be felt that the hotel has existed for many years. Bed was too jumpy, noise from the road. We expected to have a sap supplied by the hotel as all other hotels in the same area. The gym is very small and unsatisfied - it was not fun to take a morning exercise.

Everything. Beautiful hotel at the quieter end of Chaweng Beach. A walk down the beach or road to other bars/restaurants/shops. The staff were so friendly, happy and helpful. The rooms were huge and so clean and comfortable. Air con was superb. Water supplied daily. Pool area was lovely as it looked directly on to the beach. Towels supplied for sunbeds. Breakfast options were excellent, egg station for omelette, fried, poached eggs was great. Good choice for everyone. 7/11 and ATM just across the road. The hotel and staff were so inviting from the 1st to the last day. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location you can easily walk into town from here as well as beach walk .Easy to get around from. . Room was very comfortable all the facilities you need with an excellent view facing the beach cleaned very day. Nice pool bar and you can walk straight onto the beach. Breakfast was excellent.All the staff were fantastic they helped in every way they could. They have a small basic tired gym = good to have better than a poke in the eye.

rooms on the road side of the resort although not busy in late nights early mornings the traffic will speed along. (Imagine rental motorbikes ) No point in staying for dinner menu is so basic very disappointing. wedding party I day check ahead. It was like the resort guests were thrown aside to make way for it.The whole front of the pool area was given up. You were made to feel uncomfortable being anywhere near them .The pool bar was dominated by the party ( the only area for drinks in the resort.)Music blasted big time and I mean night club loud ( Thankyou to the storm gods )

Best hotel on Chaweng Beach. Excellent staff, facility, and location

We've been staying at Sareeraya Hotel in Koh Samui many times, and every visit feels just like coming home. The staff is genuinely friendly and goes out of their way to make our stay amazing—it's simply fabulous! The hotel has a boutique charm, offering everything you need without being too large. The generous pool provides a lovely view over the beach, and the sea is beautifully calm, making it perfect for families with kids. Plus, there are plenty of good, inexpensive restaurants right on the beach next to the hotel. If you prefer dining in, the hotel restaurant offers a great selection at acceptable prices. A unique perk is the availability of lounge beds on the beach, which is rare in Koh Samui. Overall, for us, Sareeraya Hotel is the best accommodation on the island, and we always look forward to our next visit.

Just a personal preference: I would have enjoyed a Nespresso machine in the room :).

The pool with the view to the beach. The location of the beach very relaxing . The breakfast was top with waffles and different omelettes to choice. The room we had with private pool was also great !!

Just one remark , when we were having breakfast we could see that the fishes were without water. They told us that they would change the water but we could see that the fishes were almost dying. I’m not sure that they all survived. I even talked to the receptionist but they didn’t change the water immediately . That’s not what I would expect about such a hotel :( very disappointing .

I informed the hotel a week in advance that we will be there on the day to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The hotel indeed prepared a birthday nice cake for us.

The price of the same standard room was almost 4,000 THB cheaper than I booked two weeks ago in advance. I informed the hotel, but they replied there was nothing they do about it, the price was all based the day I made the official booking on booking.com No service or premium room upgrade was offered by the hotel either. There is a big improvement for the breakfast variety and taste.
