I recently stayed at Homm Chura Samui and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience — with just a couple of things to keep in mind. The location is spot on. You're close enough to walk into the action — restaurants, shops, the beach — but far enough away from the nightclub noise and chaos that you can actually get a decent night’s sleep. The rooms are stylish, modern, and have a subtle Thai flair that gives them a bit of personality. Honestly, the shower was *incredible* — probably the best I’ve had in years. I’d install the exact same one at home if I could. Breakfast was a standout too. Because it’s a smaller resort, you don’t get caught up in that chaotic buffet stampede you find at big hotels. Made-to-order eggs came out quickly, and everything was fresh and tasty.

The resort itself is starting to look a little tired in places. Nothing major, but a bit of a facelift wouldn’t go astray — especially in the common areas and exterior spaces. If they gave the facilities outside the rooms some love, this place could easily be a knockout.

Location is amazing right on the sea front, we had room 201 overlooking the pool and beach which was great! The team were all lovely very smiley and happy to help, especially the pool bar team!

Needed more reception team, only one team member on check in and on check out with numerous people waiting. It’s felt short. The pool area needs some maintenance it’s looks tired and not sure if they work for the hotel but first thing in the morning theres a team sweeping the sand of rubbish the guys doing the section directly in-front of the hotel just dumped it back in the sea, and I’m not talking just seaweed, plastics, fishing lines, bags. Pollution is an evident issue in the area. Further up the beach we saw other people burying it in the sand.

Great stay at HoMM Chura, I stayed for 3 nights upon arrival in Thailand before exploring the other islands. It’s not far from the airport but far enough not to be disturbed by the noise, it’s also not far from chaweng centre but also again far enough to be away from the hustle there, yet you can walk there in about 10 mins. The location was perfect, and also right on the beach with a pool overlooking the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast menu very good, with fresh fruits and a chef making omelettes/eggs. My room was big and good airco. The style is earthy which I really liked. I’ll def stay again when in Samui next time!

The location was great. The atmosphere was nice.

The breakfast could improve. The room cleaning service isn’t the best. One of our five rooms was smaller, so humid, and smelly. And that room’s water pressure was a disaster. The rest of the rooms were fine.

I got a villa just next to the beach. It was fantastic and with a good view. The hotel is located 10-15 min walk from the city center which makes it a good location for me. Not any noises from the city life but very peaceful, and still in walking distance when you want the city life. Great breakfast, especially the Special egs of the day. A lot of fruits and different juices.

I found it strange that there never was enough towels at the pool. People, including myself needed to wait for the staff to find more. Several times every day.

The staff in the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. Here I would like to name especially Mod and Chai. Both of them are very friendly, funny and helpful. They mix fantastic cocktails and Chai always recommended perfect wines for us. The price-value of the hotel is great. I liked the location as it is not directly in the noisy center of Chaweng but still only a 15 minutes footwalk away. If this is too far for walking shared taxis will pass every minute so it is very convenient. Everything you need you can find in the hotel or a few minutes walking distance around the hotel. Also would recommend the beach massage in the hotel. Very friendly and relaxing. Not to forget all other staff’s and workers starting from the reception desk, breakfast restaurant, room cleaning service etc. There was not a single person belongs to the hotel I could complain. All helpful, always smiling and very friendly. Definitely would return to Homm Chura next time.

This is a very nice resort for this price, with a convenient location (not far from the wild center of Chaweng, a good enough walk to get some physical exercise too) and a very nice design (cool breakfast place, garden, nice rooms) and very attentive nice staff

The beach is unfortunately gone. I saw a video on youtube from a few years ago and there was still a narrow slice of beach but it's completely gone now. So you can only lounge at the pool but not on the sand. It's definitely not something the resort can do anything about, but I wanted to write this here so people are aware.

Location was just at the end of a busy ‘strip’ all walkable but we got a moped from reception. Staff organised a lot of trips for us, all very easy and extra helpful. Room was comfy and spacious, nice rustic bathroom. Good variation for breakfast.

Not the hotels fault but we did have a problem with mosquitoes in the room and got bitten a lot.

The location of the resort is fantastic – the beach was less than a minute's walk from our room. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and well-kept. Overall, the property is beautifully maintained and surrounded by lush greenery.

There was a power outage for a couple of hours on our second day, which made things a bit uncomfortable due to the hot and humid weather. Thankfully, we were out for most of that time, though there was still a 40–45 minute overlap when we were in the room, which did add to the discomfort. That said, aside from this issue, our overall stay was really enjoyable

The rooms were very clean and big! Bathroom was stunning with a big walk in shower. Lovely little patio areas. The outdoor areas are very beautiful and very quick walk down to beach. Pool area is good with a bar and outdoor shower. Close to shops and resteraunts. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Could've had a larger clothes dryer outside to hang more clothing outside to dry.
