The property itself was amazing. There's a cleaner that cleans the whole place top to bottom every single day. Communal fridge, kettle, microwave & spare lockers for food including free water aswell. The rooms themselves are well maintained, with a main AC unit as well as fans mounted to the walls for each individual bed & locker area for bags that have an awful lot of space in them! Shower facilities also really well cleaned and everything works the way it's supposed to!

I really liked this hostel, everything is clean and comfy. It's 15min by walk from the old city. You have everything you need around the hostel. The owner of the place are super nice and helpful. It's easy to meet people. I will definitely recommend this hostel.

This youth hostel is located near Chiang Mai Gate, just a 15-minute walk away. The Chiang Mai Night Market is also held at Chiang Mai Gate in the evenings, creating a lively atmosphere. It's a great place to eat and shop at night. The hostel is housed in a building with a very artistic vibe. From the building, it’s clear that the owner is someone with a story to tell. Check-in time is strictly at 2 p.m., so if you arrive earlier, you won't be able to get your room key. However, you can store your luggage and must wait until 2 p.m. to check in. The building has three floors. The first floor is a large public space where you can make friends and eat. There is no elevator, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you need to be cautious. It can be a bit inconvenient if you're carrying a suitcase like I was. The bed I booked is in a mixed 8-bed dorm on the third floor. The bed is very large, and I believe it's big enough for two people to sleep comfortably. Each bed has a privacy curtain, and when it's pulled down, it feels like a little world of its own. The curtain’s shading effect is good, although you can still see some light outside when it’s drawn. By the way, the hostel provides lockers on the second floor, but you need to arrive early to see if there’s an available space. You will need to bring your own lock. No matter which youth hostel you stay in, always keep your valuables with you. The economy isn't great, and there are some bad people around, so always be mindful of your safety when going out. Additionally, the bedding here is very comfortable and clean. The duvet is a bit thin, but if you wear long clothes like I did, you won't feel cold. On the third floor, there is only one bathroom, and the toilet and shower are combined, though the wet and dry areas are separated. There are two showers on the second floor, so if there are many people, you can use those instead.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff are so nice and friendly, Non, Ming, Diana and Sophie are lovely. Very nice vibe here. Relaxing. Bed very comfortable in the dorm. Hot shower. Free tea and coffee. Great location. Nice small restaurant left to the hostel. I'd stay again for sure. Great value for money too. Perfect place to stay if u fly out next day or fly in late in the evening.

One bathroom per dorm can be tricky at times if u need the toilet!!!... but not a problem overall.

Everything.The owner was excellent and his friends were a joy to be around couldn’t of asked for more.The facilities were super clean and the beds were good with a lot of privacy.The owner also gave us loads of advice and booked activities for us.

Great value for money! I stayed here a while ago for two nights in Chiang Mai. The beds were super comfortable with good curtains for privacy. Bathrooms were clean and there were enough showers and toilets for the hostel. Would highly recommend going to this place especially for the high quality for this price. Friendly staff as well!

They did not really have a lounge area inside/outside besides a few chairs. But a lot of places/restaurants in Chiang Mai where you can lounge so didn't really miss it :)

We had a wonderful stay at 84 Gallery, the whole hostel was very clean and all of the staff we came across was excellent. Really lovely people staying there too, the place has a great atmosphere and is great value for money. Non the owner was very helpful and had great recommendations of activities to do in the city

Nice place a bit outside the city center, but still walking distance. The owner was incredibly nice and always helpful. We stayed in both the queen bed room and the dorm, both are clean. The hangout area is small but still met lots of people.

Non is great, funny, always up for a chat, has good recommendations. The volunteer staff were helpful and chill. Nice quiet hostel but still sociable Cool vintage clothes shop around the corner

Not the most optimal storage system, a small locker or box in the bed would have been useful. Not the most central location but at this point I'm looking for things.
