Fabulous staff, super friendly, very helpful, excellent English, looked after us very well. Great layout, convenient, clean, comfortable and compact. Excellent breakfasts, good staples and variety, fresh and cooked well. Endless supply of free bottled water and we loved the recycling. Offers of ice creams on our afternoon returns. (Small gestures like this go such a long way). Good location, quiet but close enough to markets, restaurants, etc. Overall, definitely a hotel that we’d recommend. Thanks so much for having us 😊

Heavy furniture on front veranda - only a little impractical for us being a group of six. More hooks for drying towels in the room. We were asked if we needed anything on our first morning and it was immediately accommodated which we appreciated. Terrific service.

Wonderfully warm staff who bent over backwards at every step to help. They really made our stay. Very clean - and that's especially important in a tropical climate. Asked for a quiet room and got one. Perfect breakfast with lots of variety for all tastes. Generous with water and snacks at all times of the day. Great location within close walking distance of the central old town.

Nothing at all. As a matter of personal preference, I'd like to have seen a bit more colour and improved lighting in my room - perhaps one or two coloured wall hangings. The minimal and 'brutalist' look is inkeeping with the important goal of keeping the room clean. However, when one arrives late at night in a strange country the brutalism can be slightly off-putting. Don't get me wrong, though. It really wasn't a problem.

Small modern hotel, spotlessly clean. Complimentary drinks and snacks available 24 hours. The staff were exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Coming back one night they offered us cans of beer and one afternoon an ice cream all of which were complimentary. We had to check out by 12 but our luggage was stored until 19.00 and we were informed we were welcome to use all the facilities and continue to enjoy the complimentary snacks and drinks until we left for the airport. I have never known this at any other hotel. Breakfast is served in the reception area which I found odd however the breakfast was acceptable. Thank you to the staff for ensuring our stay was perfect.

We had a fantastic time at BED Chiang Mai Gate! The staff were incredibly friendly and always up for a good chat, making us feel right at home. They were also super helpful in organizing a driver for us and providing excellent tips on what to do in Chiang Mai. Our room was spacious, clean, and very quiet – perfect for a restful stay. One of the highlights was the free water and coffee available all day, which was such a thoughtful touch. The daily changing breakfast buffet was another standout – delicious and varied every morning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return to BED Chiang Mai Gate when we visit Chiang Mai again. Highly recommended!

First and foremost, the staff, who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. But the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the mini bar was topped up every day and, although there is no kettle in the room, the coffee machine downstairs was always available as well as unlimited fresh drinking water. The breakfast is excellent - really fresh and healthy (but with lots of sweet treats too.) And a great location, quiet but really close to the action of the walled city.

My husband would say the pool was too cold but I really enjoyed it!

Excellent customer service. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Water, juice, breakfast buffet, stocked mini bar in room was amazing value. Great a/c, comfy bed. Shower had great pressure and temperature was adjustable - cold to very hot.

Some areas to improve cleanliness in the rooms but overall very clean and comfortable. Sound quality of the room wasn't the best. We could hear people above us using the washroom and people going in and out of their rooms.

This ‘concept’ boutique hotel was a refreshing, and beautiful experience. The minimalist view of white and black furnishings and glass was pleasant, modern and nothing else was needed. Our room was large with sliding glass doors onto a nice sized balcony overlooking the courtyard pool. And the pool and lounging area were so pleasant to see each morning, although the water was quite chilly! (Not a complaint).The young staff at Reception and during breakfast are exceptional- friendly but not overbearing, efficient, and accommodating. Housekeeping is also to be praised for their work ethic and efficient cleaning. Having large coolers filled with water, juice, snacks for free is out of this world!

Great location, super.friendly staff and very clean room. Everything also looks new. We came around 7 in the morning and our room was t ready. Another room was ready and they gave us that room so we wouldnt have to wait. Super nice of them

The downside was that our room was om the ground floor. If somebody was taking in the hallway we could hear everything. They have a quite zone between 21:00-08:00 but still some geusts where very loud. Also after 08:00 when the quite zone was lifted and we wanted to sleep some more we could not, cause of all the noise from outside With that being sad, i would still some back to this hotel but ask for a room on another floor.

Exceptional. 100% recommended. Totally exceeding our expectations and what we have paid for. All the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They always greet the guests with smiles. They also assist us from online through Booking messaging to offline during our actual stay. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable; especially, the shower provides hot and strong water pressure. The facility in general is also very new and well-maintained. The breakfast is delicious with mnay varieties. And there are free 24/7 coffee machine, juice bar, instance noodles, snacks, etc. which is totally marvelous. The location is close to both the airport and Old Town. There is also a night market, 7-11s, tons of cafes and restaurants nearby. It only takes 10 minute to get to One Nimman, Maya malls, more modern area by car.

Amazing hotel, it deserves its high rating! They have several properties, this one is not quite as central but still close to the old town. The breakfast is absolutely exceptional (Western and Asian food). Very friendly staff.

The bathroom design is not the best (lacking space to put toiletries that you normally have next to the sink) but that is minor. Also the pool is almost never in the sun so quite cool indeed, but it is hot enough outside.
