The whole stay was so good and the owners were so nice and accommodating. We had so much fun. They offered all day free coffee/snacks and free usage of bikes too. :) They gave us free snack during Songkran celebration. They have coffee shop in the 1st floor where you can order drinks too like wine, beer and soda. They were so nice and the place is so homey. Good wifi too. Very much recommended to friends and family if we come back in Chiang Mai. The place is also near to the airport.

The bathroom floor in the shower area was kind of clogged but the owner fixed it right away. Maybe hope they can replace the slippers since it was kind of smelly while it's wet.

Well located for sightseeing, I had the Mountain View room which had a private terrace where you could sit out in comfort and privacy, and also had another terrace with 2 sunbeds shared with the room next door. Fresh water was supplied every day, and there was a small dining area where coffee, bread, jams, and fruit were available for breakfast. Free bikes avaiable for the day.

The mountain view room is on the 4th floor with no lift, so if you have mobility problems it could be difficult, but I'm elderly and managed it sometimes 3 times a day.

The rooms we booked were spot clean and the deluxe room was spacious. The location is just a few minutes walk from the south side of the Old City, which includes Wua Lai Walking Street and the Best Khao Soi (yum!). Not stated in the fine print, but they also offer free small breakfast including toast, pastry, and coffee, and you can use their bikes as well for free! Lastly, the owners were so warm and friendly and can communicate very well. Highly recommended for groups and families, big or small.

It could get very humid in the kitchen and living areas especially in April and May, but the AC solves it.

The location!!! Was just outside the old town (about a 5 min walk) so had the nice quiet side as well as easy access to the busier parts. Free fruit, tea and coffee and a water refill station which was a lovely touch. The staff were so nice and so helpful too! We had one of the very top rooms which had a little terrace from which we watched the most beautiful sunset. There were free bicycles too, although we never used them. If we were to come back to Chiang Mai we’d definitely stay here again!

Everything was great at Norn Nanta House. Our room was on the top floor (great views across the city) and the bed was very comfy. We also made use of the rooftop sun loungers There is no lift in the building, so it was a bit of a struggle on arrival with our suitcases, but the owner kindly helped us to carry our bags upstairs. This in no way should stop you from choosing the excellently located and spotlessly clean Norn Nanta House. Complimentary bread, biscuits & fruit were available at breakfast and complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate throughout the day. Also there is a good selection of soft drinks/beer available to buy at the reception. There are also free bicycles to use. The family owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We hired a car, and they ensured parking was made available for us. 10/10. Thank you for a great stay 👍

I stayed in the mountain view room that has a wonderful view of the mountain. There are two units with a shared and spacious covered rooftop area. I visited in the rainy season and it was very comfortable to sit there, have a drink and watch the rain. The room has a private bathroom with a mostly warm shower. The room is serviced daily, and glass water bottles are replaced, though I preferred to refill. The communal area has nescafe, milo and tea. There is a hot and cold water dispenser and in the morning there are some ricecrackers and cookies for breakfast. Occasionally some bananas and once even a freshly baked bananabread(delicious)! The location is just outside of the old city but the distance is easily walkable. There is a food market nearby everyday - at the south gate - and the saturday night market is just around the corner. There is a massage parlor 2 minutes away, as well as a laundromat. It's a 10 minute drive from the airport. Value for money is great, it has all the facilities needed for a comfortable visit to Chiang Mai.

Keep in mind that the mountainview rooms are up 4 stairs and there is no elevator. (View and comfort are absolutely worth it, just save some energy to bring up your luggage when you arrive). If you are travelling alone and want to meet some people, it might not be the best option for you. If you want rest and relaxation, just outside the old center this is the place to go.

Great location, well-appointed hostel with everything you might want. They had toast, snacks and fruit which were nice for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful!

We booked a family room that was supposed to have 2 king beds, it turns out, they don’t have that kind of room. We ended up in a 4 bed dorm room with 2 detached bathrooms. The room and bathrooms were great, we just wish that the booking had been more clear.

Central location close to the airport. Night market nearby. The staff is ok and cooperative. I got free early checkin at 10am. The lights in room no 6 needs to brighten up a bit. You get free cookies, bread, jam, tea and coffee that you can make yourself from the pantry in the morning for breakfast. I wish there was butter too. Overall I am Happy with the place and will return.

Location is good as it’s away from the busy roads but a short walk to the bars. They have coffees and teas and put some bread out for breakfast. They provide you bottled water daily. I extended my stay as it was lovely.

Some attention to stains on towels. Maybe consider soap dispenser near tap and hand towel.

I loved having a room on the fifth floor even if it was all steps to get there. The person helping me with luggage wasn’t too excited to help (yes, I tipped).

Hardly any interaction with the staff - not unpleasant just not available. Another place where the electricity goes off when you aren’t in room - my fridge didn’t stay cold enough to keep my leftovers from the night before so that was frustrating.
