We arrived and had a warm welcome by the Austrian owner of casa Vespa: Heinz. We’re from Germany so it was really nice to have someone that talks your language. Heinz and the rest of his team were very caring and helped us with everything. He provided us a laundry service, instantly let us move in to another room because the flushing of the toilet wasn’t working at first. The breakfast was a bit much because we don’t like to eat a lot and warm dishes in the morning, so we told them and they adapted to our wishes without even hesitating. All in all it was a very friendly and lovely experience, we highly recommend staying here :)

Almost nothing, except the stairwell and the lobby are widely open, but if you’re not having any problems with some mosquitoes and tiny geckos, it’s fine. Also the design of the shower that goes hand in hand with the bathroom and is not separated which solutes in half of the bathroom getting wet, what we assumed to be a problem at first, but if you use the small shower head and point it towards the wall, it doesn’t cause any kind of inconvenience and even if the floor gets wet, its going to dry quite quickly.

I love the breakfast the most. They serve different menu daily and i give a thumbs up to the chef who prepared the food. The staff at the hotel are really very helpful and I am very very happy with my stay at Wua lai boutique hotel. The day I arrived in CNX, due to an errand, I reached the hotel very late. The staff waited for me and also helped me to carry my luggage up to level 4. Thank you so much.

I was told by the staff that there will be little water from the water heater due to some issue. Thanks for the headsup. However. the water heater has 0 water out when I was going to take my shower. But they managed to resolve the issue fast. Thank you again.

- super clean with modern room / bathroom - great downstairs cafe / bar area - rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels - located on the Saturday night walking street so 10/10 venue at weekends also some great places to eat nearby on weekdays. A nightly food market located at the gate, so can get street food every day. - staff multi-lingual and so nice. gave us great recommendations to eat and what trips were worth doing. you can book these via the hotel

We stayed at Casa Vespa for about two weeks and we can’t recommend it enough! Heinz who is managing the place is such a wonderful man, very kind and helpful! We really liked the big room with a bathtub on the top floor with a great view, we have also stayed in a middle size room and loved it too- it’s more quiet as it’s facing the mountain not the street. The location is perfect: right where the Saturday market is (so you can visit it a few times during one Saturday with little breaks in between when it’s less crowded) at the same time it’s close to the old city and you can easily walk there. We loved water in glass bottles! The one thing we would love to add is some more hangers or place where we could put our clothes as we had to keep it on the floor most of the time :) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend this place for a short and long term stays!

Breakfast was delicious. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them, I even requested they find the small dishes the jam is kept at breakfast so I could buy some when I returned after our Tuk Tuk Trip and sure enough they did just that. We had no problems touring around Chiang Mai with the help of the front desk. Many thanks to you all.

What an amazing hotel, the location was perfect, the facilities and room were spotlessly clean. We had the family room 201 with the balcony overlooking the main street and enjoyed people watching from there. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Food in the restaurant was delicious and freshly cooked. Very happy we chose this hotel and would 100% recommend

Beautiful boutique hotel. The owner/staff provides excellent service. The location is walking distance to the old city south gate and Saturday night market.

Housekeeping needs to do a better job of THOROUGHLY cleaning the rooms, not only surface level and high touch spots. Example: the desk is white and it’s covered by a runner in dark colors. The runner is filthy, and when you are up close, there are many visible stains. I didn’t realize it until I was trying to work on my laptop. Tiny ants were crawling all over the desk! If I arrived tired after a long flight, had to do some work, or was staying more than one night, I would have been highly annoyed. I packed up everything and didn’t use the desk because I was leaving the next day.

I loved the location. It was right outside the old city, walking distance! It was also right on the Saturday night market path. The place itself is also just very cute!

Nothing comes to mind really. My boyfriend said the walls were thin but I honestly didn’t notice it. The other guests were very respectful of noise/volume. But he was trying to take a test in our room, in his defense!

The rooms are well laid out and spacious. Most have balconies. There is no elevator but the staff will carry your luggage upstairs. The location on Wua Lai Road means that it is close to the night market and just outside Chiang Mai gate (about a 6 minute walk). The road is also the site of a Sunday Evening Walking Market so you have everything just outside the door. The staff is WONDERFUL. NOTE: There are three hotels/hostels on this property but each is under its own name and manager.

I was treated with great kindness from the moment I arrived. The room was lovely, the bed so comfy, and looking at the night market from me balcony was great fun.
