A good location near to Maya and Nimman area facilities. A quality hotel, a good breakfast and excellent staff service. A fine dining experience in the restaurant. The food and service is excellent. A swimming pool, gym and sauna are available. The room had all the basic requirements for a comfortable stay. The hotel and rooms have a clinical feel as does the property appearance.

I requested a double bed on booking but was given two singles on arrival. It wasn't mentioned by the reception staff. However the single beds were comfortable. The shower taps were connected incorrectly - (Blue - hot and Red - cold). I mentioned how cold the water was in the shower. I was assured it had been fixed. However, It took several minutes for the hot water to come through. After several days of cold showers, I realised what the problem was! There is no hotel lounge with comfortable seating to relax! Only a lobby area with tables and chairs.

Amazing hotel, with a very elegant and aesthetically pleasing interior design. The hotel was well situated, the airport was a short grab away (roughly 25mins or so) and the busier streets were equally close, at a walkable distance. The amenities were all fantastic, the only minor point to raise was that the pool temperature was far too cold to lounge in. I'm happy to brace the cold but even for me it felt like a cold plunge rather than the temperature you would be accustomed to at a regular pool. Having said that, it was very clean which was a bonus.

- Sauna only open until 7pm?! Should be able to be used at night, this is not normal to close it so early 10pm much better - never seen sauna closed 7pm before. Not sure why they do this? - Breakfast buffet was not good & quality not up to the 5 star level of the hotel. Breakfast more like 2-3 star - Rooms along the main road can be a little noisy due to cars, motorbikes and tuk tuks

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Nara Hotel in Chiang Mai! The hotel’s location is perfect—nestled in a quiet area yet conveniently close to Chiang Mai's key attractions, including the vibrant Nimman Quarter. Known for its trendy cafes, boutique shops, and lively atmosphere, Nimman was a highlight of my trip and just a short distance from the hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed. They were impeccably clean, with all the amenities you’d expect from a top-notch hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night after exploring the city. The hotel also offers a serene pool area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The overall ambiance is peaceful, making it a true sanctuary in the heart of the city. I highly recommend Nara Hotel for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Chiang Mai. I can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is very clean, fresh and has good facilities. The gym was well-equipped. Friendly and attentive staff.

The corridors are very noisy; especially in the morning with cleaning trolleys and suitcases rolling over the cobbles. Would advise the hotel to place the special mats they have in the transit areas along areas where there are bedrooms; especially in the early morning when cleaning is happening or people are checking out early with luggage. The pool does not get sun during the day, but that was fine for us as we were out all day.

I like the design and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was easy was not able to get early check in or check out but overall was good. Got free welcome drinks and have a sauna that was good use.

Maybe the food variety was a little bit to little for room service so would be better if I could work and eat in my room.

Both the exterior and interior spaces evoked a modern Thai aesthetic. Located close to several outstanding restaurants and cafés. Shopping and Nimman area also in walking distance.

I would encourage people who want to stay closer to the center to not chose this location. However, it’s an easy walk or Songthaew ride to the historic center.

Lovely clean and modern hotel, really comfortable bed in a large room. The bathroom and shower was great plus lovely smelling shampoos. Staff always really friendly and more than helpful. We didn’t use the pool but looked really nice. We really liked the Nimman area, loads of great restaurants, shopping and massage nearby.

I booked the Bella Nara for my girlfriend for our anniversary. As well as being a beautiful hotel and a comfortable stay, the hotel went above and beyond to help us celebrate our special day. The concierge at the hotel incredibly kindly decorated the room for my girlfriend and gifted us a surprise cake and free drinks. Thank you Bella Nara!

This is a beautiful hotel, in the perfect location just in the middle between the historical Old Town and the hip Nimman area of Chiang Mai (and walking distance to both). The staff are really kind and the interiors are tasteful and elegant in a colonial-era style. A wonderful gym and pool as well. The only minor downside is that the hotel doesn't have an atmospheric bar or restaurant for the evenings but there's plenty of that in the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our stay.
