Bungalows right on the beach. Well equipped and quiet location. Near restaurants on the beach and on the main street. Tida homemade bakery outside, on the main street,1 min walk from the mosque is a must for fresh breads and cakes as breakfast isn't provided here. Beach here is stunning,quiet and unspoilt. The receptionist May a wonderful Thai lady was brilliant and a real asset to this complex. She is so helpful, efficient and accommodating, and well deserved of a special mention.

Bearing in mind Mosque is very near calls to prayer happen loudly at 5am and throughout the day We felt May did such a good job, the owners were much too casual. Not smokers didn't appreciate the continual air of smoking in the reception area and just felt not as professional.

The property is clean and comfortable. It is nicely located very near the beach. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a yoga studio. It has its own dedicated lounge chair area, which is primarily shaded. Unfortunately, there are many “regulars” there who seem to feel that putting a towel on a chair in the morning indicates that it is theirs for the entire day, even though they don’t use it. We stayed in a poolside bungalow, which was nice. We stayed for 2 weeks, and enjoyed our time there.

Very poor wifi. Even though we were in the Pool area and it had its own network. We told the receptionist this a couple of times but it never got better. It was impossible to get signal in our room. Although the pool is nice, it was often very over chlorinated and not pleasant to swim in. The biggest downside is the owner’s demeanour and attitude. As an example One evening the water was off so I went to the desk to check if it was everywhere, and he yells at me saying that off course it’s off. When asked if he knew for how long, he got even more belligerent. The cleaning staff are wonderful, but not so much the management.

We had a lovely stay at Lanta Island Resort. The cabanas are very spacious and clean. Rooms were serviced every day in the afternoon. Coffee, water and fresh towels provided every day too. Aircon was pumping and I also got 2 extra pillows as per requested. The resort has many beach chairs right on the beach. The pool looks nice but we didn’t feel to use it having straight access to the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can book your boat trips at the reception. The resort is very calm with lots of trees and plants with a nice shade. Many good restaurants at the beach or along the main road. If you want a relaxing holiday I highly recommend this place!

Not a complaint, but it would be nice if breakfast was on offer. Minimart right next to resort only opens after midday.

Excellent location, friendly & helpful staff, direct access to the beach with lots of food options nearby, good working (and quiet!) aircon, and really nice jungly vibe between the bungalows. Pool was also chill & very clean. Also the cleanest bathroom we've seen so far in Thailand. We ended up extending our stay by 3 days because we enjoyed it so much on Ko Lanta. We rented a scooter via the reception which also went perfectly. The only improvement points I can think of are that the shower pressure was a bit on the low side and that the bed was a bit hard & creaky. But both of these are kind of normal for Thailand and for the price I really shouldnt complain. Superb place to stay!

The efficiency of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and they were serviced daily. We had a pool bungalow and it was perfect. We requested extra pillows and were brought to us right away. The staff were continually raking leaves and appreciated that the lounge beds at pool were cleaned. In general the property seems well maintained. May at the front desk was very professional and efficient.

The beds were too hard and too much starch in the sheets. Also as toilet paper is not able to go down the toilet a "bum gun" should be provided.

Room was literally 50 yards from the beach. Our room was very comfortable, recently renovated and spacious. Shower was easy and water pressure was fine. Simple room but perfect. Staff at reception were very kind and helpful and the options for transfers and trips could be booked there. Lots of sweet cats roaming nearby too but they didn’t pester. Mini mart and restaurant right next to the beach were perfect for a bite to eat, whether it be a bowl of fruit and yoghurt for breakfast or a delicious Thai curry for dinner etc etc. Beach was clean, nicely busy (but not too many people) and had free loungers. You can also get a message with cupping for 300 baht on the beach which was brilliant. I would say the sea was a little rough at times though. My partner and I had a fabulous Christmas here and enjoyed the nice vibes of the beach with some restaurants nearby for dinners too. Highly recommend for a chilled vibe as location is well situated but also not super close to anything of note, so use Tuktuks or rent a bike at reception.

Wi-Fi has a weak single. TV didn’t have the best options but who cares, we weren’t there to watch films!

No bum gun … why??? If you’re trying to stop tourists using loo roll just add this and at least then there is no excuse! Breakfast at the restaurant is a fiasco and needs a complete overhaul. Service is lousy as is the menu… even has English breakfast with no eggs but baked bean juice… avoid but don’t let that put you off Thai lunch/dinner there.. not resorts fault but of course it impacts on the stay experience It was early in the season so still getting the place ready and the they had been hit with floods so understandable they were preoccupied however they do need to spray for mosquitoes… there were too many and dangerous especially with dengue on the rise

Direct at the beach, lots of sunchairs in the shadow. Good rooms with fridge.

Lots of German/Austrian pensioners who complain a lot and reserve all the good sunbeds very early in the morning. It would be good if the staff would prevent that, by removing the towels from reserved and unused sunbeds. Very big beautiful leguane which is emprisioned in a very small cage. For me, this looks like animal cruelty.

Nice private bungalow with furnished balcony , close to restaurant, beach and pool. Well equipped room with refrigerator and refill of coffee and water every day. Very clean. New towels daily, sheets every second day. Close to restaurants and shops. 10 minutes by tuk tuk to SalaDan.

Not very happy with the restaurant on site. Food was not as good as it usually is in Lanta. Maybe because there was few guest? Toilets in the restaurant was disgusting. And I observed the staff not washing hands after visit...... Not very trustworthy.

Great rooms, pool was lovely. Very quiet, no children. Nice restaurant on the beach and helpful staff in reception. Smile beach is an amazing long sandy shallow beach great for bobbing in the small waves. Close to several other restaurants and bars both on the beach and on the main road but far enough away not to hear anything in the rooms.

It’s a large resort so less of a personal touch. Not a fault just a preference.
