Cicada was a beautiful little hideaway set in stunning gardens, offering a peaceful and relaxing escape. The huts were spotless, cozy, and had everything needed for a great night’s sleep—the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the sounds of birds and wildlife made it feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. The food here was some of the best we had during our travels in Thailand, and Koh Lanta has been our favorite island by far. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with Mai baking fresh bread that was absolutely delicious. We had an early ferry to Phuket, and Mai made sure we had breakfast before opening hours and even drove us to the pier in his own truck—such incredible hospitality! We will definitely be returning to Lanta and Cicada later this year. After exploring every beach on the island, we can truly say it’s a hidden gem.

Absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this place.

We travel as backpackers and as a couple. We just loved it here. The staff is so nice and they do their best to help you! There were only three more guests staying in Cicada Lanta and only us having booked the stay with breakfast, so they opened their kitchen every morning only for us. Very cute! We even booked two more nights, as we felt so comfortable and on ease. The huts are very basic. You'll find everything you need. They are exactly how they look on the pictures and it's very clean. I loved it that the huts are made of wood. And there are so many handmade details everywhere - absolutely fantastic. We do have enough concrete at home. So this just fits so much better! I also love how they created the garden area. We would often sit on our little porch in front of the huts and enjoy the garden or do Yoga. I really don't like all these big resorts coming up. So if you look for a more authentic place but still kind of like to have it clean and nice: This is the place to stay! 🫶🏽

We stayed here during low season (August), so the area was quiet and nice. We slept wonderful. (The beds are very comfortable!) I don't know how it is during high season. As the huts aren't isolated that well, it's not soundproof and I guess the street behind the resort is more busy. So if you're a light sleeper: Bring ear plugs.

The location was lovely, and the staff were so helpful at all times. We had such a special stay here and really enjoyed the island life at this particular property. The food was amazing in the restaurant too, we ate breakfast and dinner there a couple of times during our visit. We will be back!

Everything was pretty much perfect the only slightly annoying thing was the WiFi in the room didn’t work well at all but if you have a Thai sim with 4G the connection is good through that.

What a beautiful little cabin. Very pretty and very clean and comfortable. Fantastic staff. Very friendly and helpful. We weee a stones trow away from the beach too.

The only thing we could see wrong with te place was te air conditioning needed a service as it didn’t keep the place that cool. It was ok during the night as it was cooler outside.

Loved the bungalows and beautiful plants/scenery. It was very peaceful and a refreshing change from a hotel.

Rooms should have a full length mirror and better lighting. Breakfast menu was very egg focused - would have loved if they had include beans or an avocado on toast option

We loved it here. Really chilled out and quiet. Brilliant shower, comfortable bed. 5/10 minute walk to beach, nice restaurants and cafes near by. We rented a moped and did our laundry opposite the resort, which was super handy

Can’t say nothing negative except that it’s lacking bit of storage and hanging space, also little stronger lighting in the bathroom. Other than that it was beautiful. Thank you everyone at Cicada. 💜

Beautiful place! Close to the beach

Only feedback I would give… to use the kettle you have to unplug the fridge because there is only one plug. Otherwise everything was great and super clean!

Nice accommodation with good air conditioning and wifi; attentive, helpful and friendly staff; great location.

No complaints - I was very happy with my time at Cicada.

This is such a sweet hotel. The staff are so lovely, the rooms seemed new or newly refurbished. Massive fridge and new appliances. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Had a lovely beach 2 min walk away (felt safe to walk around a night as well (some bigger resorts nearby).
