Loved the room. the hotel was very well maintained and our private pool was actually a good-sized pool and entirely private which was a bonus for someone who covers. it was both our birthdays and they sent cakes for both of us which was very sweet. the in-room dining was also very good escp the burger. we needed a late checkout as we had a cooking class on the last day, the hotel couldnt extend our room but very kindly offered us another room so we could shower before we set off. we appreciated that as i wouldnt have wanted to get on a plane smelling of green curry!

The nearest village is a 3 min ride away and the hotel offers a buggy to drop you there for a charge of £3.50 every time you use the buggy to go there (thats what taxis charge for a 20min ride and there is no bolt/grab available on this island). within the resort its free to use the buggy. Most resorts would offer this as a free goodwill gesture to the nearest local spot but this seemed very opportunistic of the hotel. This was probably my only gripe with them. maybe have a shuttle every half hour. its only a 2-3 min drive but not exactly walkable especially in humid or rainy conditions.

We could not fault our stay here! From the moment we were collected from the airport it was 5 star treatment. The boat to the private jetty at the hotel was incredibly memorable. Our room was gorgeous with an incredible view. The app they use is so handy, and we would get immediate responses. We did the snorkelling excursion which was wonderful! All the staff are very attentive.

The food is pricey - but this is like any 5 star establishment. Luckily it’s only an 8 min walk from delicious restaurants at much more friendly prices.

This is one of the most spectacular places I have ever been. The location, the staff and the resort itself are 10 star quality! I haven’t stopped recommending the resort to friends and family. We had a villa in the trees with an private pool and it was worth the cost as the value is outstanding

One of the highest quality locations in Thailand. Serene and secluded with incredible facilities. The food was outstanding and the staff made the trip seamless and spectacular.

It was a luxury hotel , they have really fancy restaurants and lounges. We did not go out 1 week . And it was no bored

Plastic on the beach . Dear hotel management, you can put 1 staff to clean beach every day , when is law tide . You cleaning only area with sunbeds , it's not a pleasant to walk in plastic trash

We started in an amazing 3 bedroom, hillside villa but unfortunately it wasn't really suitable for very small children, as each internal door required a keycard to open it , so we were moved, at no extra cost, to three one bedroom, beach side villas that were also amazing. The staff are phenomenal. They truly make you feel like you are the most treasured guests in the hotel and they were incredibly kind, sweet and patient with the children. Every request was immediately dealt with. The service here really is exceptional. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was delicious. The facilities were immaculate and stunning and we loved the wildlife surrounding us: eagles, monitor lizards, monkeys, hermit crabs... The warmth of the sea was a pleasant novelty for someone from Scotland and the water was so clear. Similarly, the pools were also lovely and warm. This is a big resort but even when it was 85% full it never felt busy. We often had communal pools to ourselves and the restaurants were never too full. No queuing here. Possibly the best beach resort I have ever been to. Loved it.

It was almost impossible to dry wet clothes and swimming gear even outside in the sun. We tried every room in our villa and various parts of our private terrace but I think the humidity just made it impossible. Some sort of heated, communal drying area would be good.

Our stay at the Pimalai was very delightful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with high-quality and well-kept facilities that added to the overall experience. We also appreciated the complimentary airport transfer, which made our arrival seamless. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.

If we had to point out areas for improvement, it would be the pricing for food. The cost of meals felt disproportionately high, and we believe the price-performance ratio could be better. Additionally, we found it surprising that activities such as yoga classes required an extra fee. For a hotel of this class and price range, we would have expected these to be included.

Food is excellent, the grounds are beautiful. The staff are very friendly. The restaurants and areas to each are lovely and have a different feel to all of them. The resort is very well organised and maintained.

The rooms are slightly older and the windows in the properties are single glazed; this means the rooms can get very hot and you can hear the outside noises easily. The resort is very quiet so it’s not a massive issue however if you like your room to be cold we struggled to get ours to below 22 degrees. The gym isn’t huge for the size of the hotel. Some of the sun beds round the pool do not go totally flat, meaning it’s difficult to lie on your front.

This is just a White Lotus ++ experience! We had an amazing stay and would like to thank all of the staff! They were super friendly and helpful. Also the kids club was really nice with fun activities and our oldest daughter enjoyed it a lot. The layout is beautiful and as it is very spacious and open. Never had the feeling that it was too crowded and felt very tranquil. The beach is also very nice and you can walk to the little village close by. It was the best place we stayed in during our 3 weeks trip through Thailand and I would definitely recommend it!

There are not enough words to describe how stunning this hotel is. Every single detail has been thought of and the hotel staff are exceptional. They treated my daughter like a princess and she had the best time at the kids club every day with Fah. The free beach activities were perfect for kids and for us as a family. The rooms were stunning with a coffee machine and water. I would love to return every year . Thankyou for a magical stay

A little expensive to get taxis to and from the other beaches but that is not the hotels fault. A scooter would be the best value but tricky with a toddler. The food in seven seas could have had thai options as well . Nothing to not like about the staff or the hotel itself it is pure perfection

The beauty of the nature and gardens surrounding the buildings, the relaxing and beautiful swimming pool by the beach, the privacy of villas, the size and view from our bay front villa, the beach and scenery on the bay, the quality of breakfast, the quality of the logistic for the free transfer, the kindness and politeness of staff, the small village nearby

I had to ask a dozen times over two weeks to get the invoice of our stay and ultimately to contact booking.com as the hotel wouldn't give it to me. Once booking.com contacted, I received the invoice from the hotel in the next hours.
