We really enjoyed our time here. The set up of the resort is good and it feels very quiet and private - even though the rooms are close together. The room was great - had everything we needed and was cleaned anytime we requested. Others have commented on the noise from the why not bar, but this always stopped at 10pm which to me is very reasonable

We loved the location - it’s beautiful, but be aware it’s at the far end of the island - so you either need to be happy with something a little more isolated - or happy to ride a scooter to other places.

Great place to stay and relax! Definitely one of the most beautiful beaches on Ko Lanta (we motorbiked to almost all of them over 2 weeks and stayed a few different accommodations). Nice and lively restaurant with live music or sometimes a dj. Whoever said in the other reviews that the music is really loud and “couldn’t sleep” is ridiculous haha the music gets quiet around 22:00, we slept in the room closest to the bar and it was completely fine. Bathroom left much to be desired, shower wasn’t brilliant but did the job, you get what you pay for. Overall great stay with super friendly staff!

My room was directly overlooking the sea, so the view was absolutely unbeatable. The room itself is comfortable with a nice big bed and all the basics you need. The beach is literally right in front, as well as a restaurant and bar. The balcony was also very spacious, nice for enjoying a beer and listening to the music from the bar (there's a great DJ that plays each night). The nightly fire show by the local boys was also really sweet.

The location on the beach really is fantastic. We were in a bungalow, set slightly away from the Why Not bar. 20 seconds from the sand, on a very un-busy beach which is not rocky. The bungalow was comfortable, and was more or less what I would expect from a hotel room, and had been recently built. (Note, there were also visibly older buildings as well - which may differ in experience). The village has great restaurants and amenities (in particular the Himalaya restaurant is great). There is a good coffee shop on site.

It is situated on the same plot of land as the “Why Not” bar, which starts playing loud music at about midday, and stops at about 11:15pm. The music is very loud and could be much quieter - when in the bar you can barely hear someone talking to you. I feel like people may actually enjoy the bar mar if the music was quieter so they could talk! The restaurant is fine for a soft drink, but most of the food is very bland - I recommend eat elsewhere. It’s not a big problem as there are so many eateries within 5 mins walk.

Absolutely fab location, with a lovely restaurant and Why Not Bar right next to / part of the hotel. We spent a lot of time at the bar and loved that you could order food there. The food from the restaurant was great, and the nightly fire shows, DJ and live music created such a buzz! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the cheap and speedy laundry service was a welcome bonus. You're down a small track which keeps you a little out of the way so the beach is pretty quiet, but a short walk from other restaurants and shops. Recommend Drunken Sailors, we ate there 3 times during our stay in Kantiang Bay! The massages were a really cool bonus too, super reasonable priced and right on the beach with the sound of the waves.

Not a dislike, but the accommodation is pretty basic, but that is reflected in the price so we didn't mind! It was still comfy and had everything we needed, and loved being able to walk out of our door and right onto the beach. The only downside was the music from the bar was super loud and did go on fairly late into the night, but this was only an issue because I like to go to bed early!

Great location on a fantastic beach. The bungalows are set in a nice garden area and the adjacent Why Not bar is excellent. Hotel serves very good Thai food throughout the day. The nearby village is good for essentials shopping and some good restaurants for breakfast etc. Staffat hotel friendly, helpful and good for organising onward journeys etc. they also have a good motorbike hire facility.

The bedroom and balcony were very good but the bathroom poorly maintained - the electric shower doesn’t work so cold shower only and there were two holes in the ceiling which gave access to the odd lizard! I blocked up the holes with plastic bags but the hotel did nothing about it despite me reporting the problem. The room wasn’t serviced once during our 5 day stay so no towel change, I arranged to have the bins emptied and no sweeping - I borrowed a brush to sweep the room and balcony. The breakfast is poor and we had it only once, options in the nearby village far better. Everything is priced separately, so boiled or fried eggs don’t come with toast or bread, and it works out v expensive for what it is. Also no Thai breakfast dishes available.

Almost everything!! The guy in the reception was really helpful! The facilities where clean and well maintained, right by the beach and next to why not bar which was very nice. The rooms were very clean. The massage spot, literally on the beach, good and cheap. The location is very nice. In total, a very nice experience in a very nice place which felt easy going and calm.The only thing that someone could consider as negative, is that some of the stuff of the restaurant couldn't speak english very well so there were some misunderstandings. At the very end though, everyone was trying to do their best, they were very helpful and kind. We loved it there!!

I loved the location of the hotel. The beach was beautiful and the restaurant and bar at the hotel were great and really convenient. The 7/11 is next door and there are local restaurants within walking distance. This is a really quiet part of the island, which I loved. If you want to get about and you need to use a taxi on the island it can be a bit pricey. I was too scared to drive a scooter.

I think the cleaning standard of the room could be better and please leave more toilet roll!! The shower had no pressure and hardly any water came out.

Stayed in room 04 on the 1st floor, overlooking the sea. Room was very clean, spacious, with big windows to enjoy the fabulous sea view. Fridge, kettle etc. No bugs, ants or mosquitoes. Though not a private balcony (area shared by 1 other room) there are tables & chairs outside the rooms & a useful drying line. Food in the beachside restaurant was very good. The Why Not bar had live music/dj & not overly noisy. Didn’t keep us awake &, during our stay at least, seemed to be all over by 11pm (or did we just sleep through it😂) The beach is beautiful, flat and very quiet. There is a 7 Eleven, ATM & a good selection of restaurants close by. We tried The Drunken Sailor cafe & Indian restaurant & were both excellent. We booked our onward ferry/taxi at the resort.

Bathroom was a little dated & shower water pressure not the greatest. However, not a major issue for us. Happy hour at Why Not would have been nice - just saying 😆

Incredible location in a very quiet bay in Ko Lanta - a much nicer place to relax than some of the other beaches on the island. There is an incredible sunset if you walk further up the beach too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful - Nicky even helped us by posting something we lost to Bangkok which was so brilliant! Lots of amazing food and drink options, helped by the excellent bar and cafe on site (the fresh coffee is very good). The staff also helped us arrange a snorkeling boat trip very last minute, and all airport transfers. Also very good WiFi on site.

Rooms are quite basic, it could help to have little things like a chair and table. But for a simple relaxing stay it's great.
