Booked specifically for the full moon party. There are two stages right in front of the hotel and you get free entry to the party on the beach if you stay here (just make sure you go into town from the beach, not the other way as you’ll be made to pay again) The party is on your door so you can pop back to your clean toilet mid party! Standard breakfast, big pool. Considering how much we paid, it was quite good value as everything is 10x for the full moon party.

The pool area itself was quite run down, needed a good re-vamp to make it nice again. Despite it being party weekend, there were two kids (maybe 9/10 years old) running havoc around the pool whilst their parents went back to their rooms. The staff did absolutely nothing to stop them. There is a sign that says “no kids unaccompanied by an adult”, so for them to be left to make a makeshift diving board into the pool with beds and mattresses, in the middle of the afternoon, was extremely off putting. Multiple other guests left the pool area to get away from them. If you have rules, enforce them.

Great location, given a refreshing drink on arrival, enjoyed the pool. We stayed in the 2 person bungalows and loved them, they were clean & spacious and the mini fridge & air con were great additions. Ideally located for the full moon parties, can definitely hear some noise from the from but it wasn’t an issue for us. Good & varied breakfast included.

So close to the beach!! We went for the half moon party and it was so easy to get to the event. Think it could get quite busy and noisy with the full moon party, but then you would literally be at the party so that’s the trade off Also so close to a 7-11, massage parlours and everything in between. Staff were great, room was cleaned nicely, breakfast was delicious. Perfect for travellers looking to stay in something nicer than a hostel room but still have an affordable stay!

Brilliant location. Set at the end of the beach but right in the middle of all the action. Staff were really helpful and the resort was quite busy but still quiet. The restaurant meals were great as were the cocktails. The view was outstanding and the private pool villa was comfortable and spacious.

The private pool needed to be cleaned more regularly. By the time we left there was a definite green tinge to the water.

The location on the beach! The pool was great as well. The beach here is amazing. we stayed at the beach front bungalows - this we can only recommend. Most also send a warm thank to Wattana doing a great job - the hotel should be very thankful having him.

You can see the hotel needs to be cleaned up like many other places on the island. There are corners of mess and garbage. Noise! This hotel is located better regarding to the noise this city has. We came 4 days after full moon party - so happy we didn’t come as planned to the party. What a pity making this amazing place into cheap party zone. We came as a family - and many families do come here. But it is a place best for young people. My advice to the hotel - clean up and throw away things. This hotel is for sure the best to stay at the beach - make it perfect again.

Location location location is all I can say to start with, what a great location close to the beach it was amazing , the staff could not be more helpful and friendly they were great. I'd recommend Tommy resort to everyone. We had a great stay and holiday .

Rooms a little bit run down and in need of decoration especially the bathroom,but that wouldn't put me off staying again .

We loved everything about this resort — especially the location! It is steps from the beach and in an ideal location for the Full Moon Party… not in the centre, but being at one end of the beach meant slightly less noise when we were done. The room had everything we could want, and the pool and restaurant were perfect! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful!

I just asked my partner if there was anything that we didn’t like about the room and — after much thought — the only thing we could come up with was that they did not refill the minibar each day. If we had asked, I’m sure they would have. We cannot recommend this place enough and hope to stay there every year for the rest of our lives!

Location, location, location. Just at the famous Haad Rin beach but it’s not noisy at night. It’s a good choice for family as the kid can play with other kids in the pool and make friends. Quite a lot of families booked this hotel when we stayed there. Amazingly there is no mosquitoes in the garden or at the yard of the room.

The air conditioning sound is quite noisy at night. I guess it needs some service.

Tommy's Resort is really well placed on Haad Rin beach. The pool is not 'new' but it is really pleasant, clean and large and nice to swim in. There is a variety of seating which makes the public areas pleasant to stay around. My villa room was modern, clear, well cleaned and well lit with a comfortable bed. The staff were really welcoming, polite and friendly but not over the top and Watana does a great job in making you feel welcome and integrated and the manager - i think whose name was Suti was really nice, helpful and kind. The breakfast was tasty although not extensive in choice.

Like a lot of Thai properties the aircon was a bit loud.

Great location right on the beach but also close enough to shops/bars/restaurants, with nice pool area with plenty of space, helpful staff, nice room

Quite a few ants 😅 but not hotels fault really
