If I could give 11/10, I would. A part from the location convenient for the airport, this place is magical! The lake view is beautiful, the quietness, the nature, and the birds. The huge window, the balcony with the sunbed to relax, allows you to immerge you in the natural environment. The bed is very comfortable. Room and bathroom spacious with anything you need. The restaurant and bar are designed to enjoy the garden all around. A special thanks goes to the amazing, efficient, and kind staff that helped us in a difficult situation. Thank you guys, you are fantastic! 💌 We hope to come back and enjoy this place to relax. Highly recommended.

I loved how peaceful and clean this property was. The staff were very friendly and caring. I arrived late in the evening and there was someone in reception to meet and greet me and show me to my beautiful villa. The stand-alone villa was perfect. I had been travelling for 28 hours from Europe and to arrive at Ploen Pirom Resort was magic. My room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. I slept very well. Breakfast was a nice set menu of either Thai or European food, with fruit juice, tea, and coffee, and finished off with fresh fruit. I chose this hotel as it was close to the airport, only a 10 minute taxi ride. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Great value for money!

The people that work at Ploen Pirom are wonderful and they seem to truly enjoy their work. The communication to us after the reservation has been one of the best we have experienced using Booking.com. We arrived early, many hours early. We were made comfortable while our room was made up so we could have access to it. A small charge was added that was completely reasonable. Our two nights there were primarily to recover from two days of travel. So, this part was such an exceptional extra; a car and ad hoc tour was put together for the next day. We were able to see a floating market etc. due to the thoughtfulness of the man that checked us in. It is very close to the airport expect about 800 Baht taxi and about 15 minutes depending on traffic. They have a good restaurant.

We had a villa, that didn't face the lake, a very minor drawback as the restaurant is on a platform next to the lake.

We are repeat guests which is why we recommend this property for airport stays. It’s modern, very clean and is a perfect location to the airport. (10-15m maximum) They run a shuttle every 30 minutes for 200 baht. You can catch a local taxi at the airport to the property for a similar price; always worth taking the address in Thai as a backup. ( look for the short distance queue at the taxi rank) Staff are helpful with luggage and pre arrival messages. There are a few handicrafts for purchase at the foyer. We ate at the restaurant last time but our visit times this time didn’t warrant it.

This hotel is a short distance from the airport which is why I booked the location. It is beautifully situated next to a lake and having a balcony meat I could sit outside and watch all the many birds flying through the garden. The staff were fantastic - very helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is also excellent and surrounded by a pond with huge carp!

Honestly nothing - the only thing I would mention is that it would be a long trip into the city from this hotel, but it's location next to the airport is ideal if you are catching an early morning flight.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was brilliant, 5 to 10 minutes car journey to the airport and still bit out the way so it feels peaceful. You can walk around the lake and the villa on the lake was lovely. The hotel was clean and they provided water, coffee each day.

The bathroom window is broken and open all the time so it let's gekos in at night which can be bit annoying. The balcony is lovely but couldn't see the full lake due to over grown trees.

This is our 3rd stay at the Ploen. Everything is really great, we find the nature of the green lake environment really relaxing and surprising given the hotel's location to the airport and Bangkok, it's a real hidden gem. The other thing I love is the staff are really helpful and friendly, we stayed for one night in 2024 and we were remembered and welcomed one year later when we stayed again. I would highly recommend the lake view villa. We will 100% be staying next time we're in Bangkok, thanks guys

It was very clean, roomy and quiet. Staffs were very friendly, too. I definitely recommend it to those who are flying in late or flying out early. It is located near the airport, which is very convenient. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here to go in and out of Bangkok city; it is very hard to get a taxi from the hotel and quite expensive to come in from the city(be aware of the taxi drivers who accept the call but never come and won’t even cancel the call themselves! You may have to cancel and pay the cancellation fee.)

I felt a little uncomfortable when one of the night shift male staffs offered to come into my room and give a massage, because he had been in a massage business in Phuket or something. I’m sure he was just being friendly and didn’t mean anything inappropriate, but I suggest he not offering such service to a female solo traveler late at night. He was very friendly and helpful in general though. He made sure I had food when I flew in late and helped me with WiFi and all.

The property is “out of town” and has a very chill vibe to it. You wouldn’t believe you are still in Bangkok. It is conveniently located close to the main airport and would help anyone avoiding the heavy traffic when trying to take a flight. The food of the restaurant is one of the best we’ve had while being in Bangkok. And that’s taking into consideration some of the Michelin restaurants that are in town. We had breakfast, late lunch and dinner there and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. The chef is very good. Definitely a big recommend, whether you are looking for a place close to the airport before your flight or that you are looking for a chill place far from the town buzz or simply really want to enjoy great Thai cuisine from the restaurant.

A Mini oasis close to BKK airport. Perfect place for peaceful overnight stay before onward journey. Good sized rooms, clean, comfortable and very well presented. Excellent quality ala carte breakfast. Seating area is on a mini-lake with lush green setting.

Not much around the property for late night food. Was directed to a 7-11 that’s a 9 minute walk away (no thanks)! There were some snacks and coffee in reception which I bought instead. One mosquito bite, but to be expected I guess given the lush greenery around the property!
