It’s located in a peaceful area away from the noise of bars and bikes on the 3rd road. They make up the room everyday upon your wish. Very cooperative staff. Two bottles of free water is always provided which is nice. Cable TV has plenty of English channels to watch. The room has decent bathroom with a shower, fridge, AC, and even a balcony with a chair to sit on and watch the city from atop. Overall, its value for money lodge. You need to experience it to understand what I mean.

This hostel is great, very like a hotel. Swimming pool. Nice seating area with nice music in the background. Room was big and the air con was great. Great location too. Thap the manager was super helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again. A nice vibe here and great for meeting other people for a chat. Lots of places to eat and numerous bars close by.

The card key for your room is a little tricky to get the lights and air con working, just play with it for a bit. They do charge 3% extra if you pay with credit card, but not a big problem.

Very good location, walkable from Central Festival. Clean, beds are good and private (provided you are on the bottom bunk, top doesn't have curtains), lockers (small though). Fridge, microwave oven, dining area, cooler. Pool is clean. Elevator, if you don't feel like climbing the stairs.

The pool was good and clean. The hostel staff was good. nice view from the room with a little balcony in it. I would recommend people if they want to go for budget-friendly hostel then Happy Hostel it is.

This is the place where i met nice friends and spent amazing time together. The hostel is clean and not far from the beach.

The night shift receptionist keeped asking me many times if Im the hostel customer or not . I feel really bad because why can't she remember the customer who's booking or staying at her hostel? Did she ask me because the reason is only I'm a thai girl and i was wearing shorts? It's good for her to do the responsibility but hey please check. I feel like she just looked down on me it's because of I'm thai and wore shorts.

Clean and well-maintained hostel except for the bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Individual lamps, power outlets, and lockers are available in each bed. There is enough space on the floor for luggage.

The bathrooms need some maintenance work. The faucets need to be fixed appropriately. The water pressure is problematic on the upper floors. I wouldn't say I liked the fact I had to rent a towel and the swimming pool was inaccessible after 7 pm. The mattress was a bit hard. I wish the staff took an effort to give some guidance about the hostel instead of just this is your room and this is your key.

Pool was quite nice, and the staff was decent and polite. AC was not working properly but overall it is ok. Washroom was extremely clean and have a nice kitchen if you fancy to cook something.

The staff was very helpful and polite. If you are struggling with something they will help you out even if you don't ask for it. The rooms were super clean and tidy. It was a nice experience.

The matress were a bit too stiff. Other than that, everything else was good.

Sure, 4 bunk beds and a small bathroom in a cramped space might not be much but for $21 a night it is exceptional value. The amenities that they provided you don’t get even in some 3/4 star hotels without asking. The service and staff was pretty good. Location was pretty good as well

For that value, complaining about any defects would be asking for too much.
