Very nice layout of the resort on the hill. A lot of very cozy places to enjoy or take pictures. You can see the sunrise from the resort. Amazing! Very friendly staff but expect using Translate App if you communicate in English or other languages. From the breakfast area you can see the sea down the hill. Nice snorkling in the hotel beach, maybe the best place on the island. We met lots of fish like triggerfish, butterfly, boxfish, moray eels, parrotfish etc. Even one small stonefish and several times cuttlefish. The beach of the hotel is covered by stone. If you want send, you can walk 500 meters to Ter Bay beach. In our bungalow there were so many electric plugs so we were able to charge all phones and cameras and power banks at once! :) In our bungalow (we had a villa with garden view), we had good space in the room and in the bathroom also. Hot water in abundance at any time of the day.

If you need changing towels or linen, you better ask the staff, it will not be done very automatically :) but that was ok, once you understand how it works. Breakfast was acceptable and good quality, but do not expect the variety of a continental 5 star hotel. Anyway, you do not come to such places for food :) I do not recommend the lunch buffet, better order a la carte. Salads, shrimp, fish that are in the menu are very tasty. And you can also get fresh juices of very good quality, but depending of availability of watermelon, mango, pineapple etc. Just ask the staff!

Everything is perfect . friendly staffs , they drove a “tutu” carried us to go anywhere in this small island for free, it’s customer service . the location is good, the hotel is just nearby a snorkeling point, we went snorkeling by ourselves . Sometimes a large lizard takes a walked around this hotel, it’s so interesting.

Except the pillows are too high , I can’t use it

The hotel is very beautiful! The staff were very friendly. Best of all, the hotel has a beach perfect for snorkeling. If I had the chance, I would book this hotel again.

Take a taxi to the reception desk at Chalong Pier. They will gather people and pull them to the pier. It is very convenient to take a half-hour speedboat to the island. The water is clean and you can see small fish. The room is a stand-alone room. The white and wooden natural-style decoration is very beautiful. I love this small yard. The room rate includes breakfast. For dinner, if two people order a large table, 2600🐷 is not expensive for a meal. I booked snorkeling at the hotel for 1500. My stay was too short. I wanted to stay for two more days and go cycling on the island.

So glad I found this place! Next time we come to the area, we’ll skip Patong and come straight here. Ko Racha Yai is less-developed and infinitely less crowded than any place on Phuket Island. For us, that was perfect. When you get to Ban Raya, it feels like you have the whole island to yourself. We liked everything about this place. First, it has outstanding customer service. The staff did everything possible to assure a perfect stay—especially a gent named Marboon. We picked a room near the ocean cove and the big infinity pool, which turned out to be ideal. Our bungalow had a large balcony. The main room was also large, as was the bed, as well as the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice towels and bed sheets, and plenty of soft pillows. There’s great AC, a big TV, a sofa, and plenty of storage space. A large breakfast buffet was included and tasty, with good brewed coffee. The open-air restaurant offered excellent food for lunch and dinner. Ban Raya rents scooters and bicycles, and there’s a market and another restaurant short rides away. My girlfriend loved the on-site spa. Stay here. You’ll be glad you did.

These aren’t really dislikes…just things to note: They were serving beer during our stay, but no wine or cocktails. However we were able to buy a bottle of spirits, plus mixers and ice, to make our own cocktails. The market and other restaurant do offer wine, and the latter has cocktails. We liked the variety of items in the breakfast buffet, but it would be nice if they varied a few the offerings every day.

The infinity swimming pool was outstanding great location very comfortable. What a beautiful view… Loved our accommodations as we upgraded just a bit well worth it.

We thought the breakfast was just OK… it could have started at 7 AM or at least coffee available by seven as there’s no coffee in the room, we felt it was catered to a certain group of people… if we could have made eggs or omelets fresh would be much nicer

This is the third time I have stayed at Ban Raya in Emperor Island. Although the decoration of the room has taken a long time, it is still relatively well maintained. The layout and color scheme have a holiday and relaxing feel, which is really good. The only thing I dislike is that the air conditioner is a bit loud. There are free snorkeling tools and kayak rentals. Before 10:30 in the morning and after 4:00 in the afternoon, there are far fewer tourists on day trips. The reef on the left is my favorite. There are many small fish at low tide. There are many small fish in the holes on the reef. There are many sea urchins, and you can also see small clams. This time, we also saw a palm-sized squid. The ecology is indeed good, but beware of jellyfish. The sunset is beautiful. Order a drink at the beachside booth, listen to the staff playing and singing, and enjoy the sunset. I have experienced the spa and it is quite satisfactory. Even on this island and in this environment, it is quite comfortable.

The hotel has obvious advantages and disadvantages. The environment is elegant, and the guests are very polite and quiet. The waiters will take the initiative to say hello and are very enthusiastic. They give a lot of bottled water every day, which is super delicious and sweet. Every day I just stay in a daze, play with water, and kill horses. Chicken. Very comfortable. Disadvantages are: The facilities are relatively old, especially the shower. It feels like you are in a cheap chain hotel. Eat: There are relatively few choices, and the overall price is 3-4 times that of Phuket. This time I came to the sea water There is obviously a fishy smell. If you are bringing children, please note that you need to pay extra for the boat fee and breakfast to go to the island.

The location of the hotel is very good and the health is not bad! The best thing is the environment, the hotel sits on an entire beach. After the day trippers leave, they can lie on the beach and enjoy the sunset. The only regret is that they only stayed for one night. They should have spent three days here. Except for the fact that the waiter didn't understand English well and the service was not timely (maybe it just happened to me), everything else was fine. Now that I am getting older, I don’t like running around anymore. This kind of lazy leisure is perfect. If I go to Phuket again, I will most likely choose Ban Raya Hotel.

I stayed with my friend's family for two days and thought we should stay for three nights. The hotel is very beautiful, and the children had a great time snorkeling and digging in the sand. The next day, we found that the air conditioner in the room was not cooling. The front desk initially contacted us to fix it. Later, they directly changed the room for us and upgraded it to a villa room. When I finally left, my husband found that his wallet was missing. He thought it might have been left in the previous room when he changed rooms. He asked the hotel and said he didn't find it. There were bank cards, passports and some cash in it. Unexpectedly, when I boarded the speedboat on the outlying island, I thought the front desk staff came to tell me that I had found it, and even ran back to get it for us. Thank you so much. I will come to Ban Raya again.
