This hotel is really good. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was slightly hard for my taste but I still slept well. All the staff were professional and helpful. The pool and poolside bar were amazing. The cocktails at happy hour made for a relaxing afternoon. I would recommend this place

There isn’t actually a balcony. It’s more a sliding door which allows you to look over the pool

Our second stay at this hotel. First time was just before covid. Really well located hotel, opposite Otop, short walk to Juncelyon and Bangla and beach. Not too big, so easy to navigate. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Good buffet breakfast, all that you'd expect from a hotel of this standard.

-It is starting to show it's age, probably getting close to needing a full reno. Saying that, the rooms and common areas were clean. -Pool did look a little cloudy and in need of attention some days. It's a smaller pool, and in peak season it did seem a bit like "human soup"

A very good breakfast, lots of variety. Bed a bit hard but not hard enough to request a topper. Toilet paper good quality, 3 ply! People very friendly, we usually stay at Holiday Inn Resort and staff and guests not nearly as friendly! Near enough to beach when you walk thru Holiday inn Resort.

HATED having to lift leg over bath to get in the shower. I have a very difficult knee/leg after an operation and find that a walkin shower is much preferred. Room was much smaller than expected for two people for 6 nights. Also not nearly enough storage/hanger space/coathangers (altho we did request more without a problem). Pool not as bit as many others in Phuket. You have to watch pool bar attendants who sometimes get prices/orders etc. incorrect.

I loved the pool - the staff at the pool bar were excellent. Breakfast had a lovely selection of European food as well as some thai food and treats, fruit and smoothies to try. We did the cooking course at the hotel, the cooking part was excellent - we thought that we would be buying the ingredients at the market - but this wasn't the case - i think this part of the tour is not necessary but all in all it was a great experience learning how to cook Thai food with the patient chefs. I appreciated the bamboo toothbrush in the room kits - i think this was a nice touch and sustainable. I would like to thank Oil for her help with check in, Cindy and Alvin (?) for my very efficient early morning check out, and to the drivers from the hotel who drove me there from the airport and back again, i would like to extend my appreciation.

The airconditioners were very cold in the bathrooms next to the restaurant and pool. There were a few things like bottles etc that were lying around longer than should be. But all in all it was a nice stay and not much else went wrong for me.

You greeted with a smile by friendly staff. The reception areas welcoming and you given welcome drinks and cold towels. The room is very nice and the bed quite comfortable.

To get to my room it was quite a room walk. At night I walking along corridor to my room I felt unsafe, it seems a long walk with no one in sight lack of lighting.

Lots of options for breakfast, the pool bar staff were very helpful and happy to give restaurant recommendations. The hotel was a little bit further from the beach than expected, but still within walking distance. Would recommend eating out each night as the dinner options in the hotel restaurant were quite expensive compared to what you could get at local restaurants.

More affordable lunch and dinner options. The kids pool slide got taken away during our stay. Being able to use apps like Netflix/Amazon Prime on TV.

Location - Great, just off Patong beach, close to all the major shops, restaurants, bars and attractions. Rooms - A bit small but still comfortable. It was a little old and run down. Everything worked fine though. Would have like a balcony. Breakfast - Amazing. Wide variety of international, Thai and some Indian dishes. Timings 0630-1030. Great coffee and staff. Small and basic Gym. 1 decent sized common pool. 2 longer pools that run along the pool rooms. Housekeeping was very good. They converted the counch into a bed for my 5 year old son. The in house restaurant has good dinner buffets (seafood night etc). Plus a live band on some days. The kids room was small but the staff there were really great with the kids. They have a lot of activities the kids can do for free and some for an extra charge as well.

On arrival, we were made to feel important. Staff including cleaners all were very welcoming. Main pool is warmer than pool access rooms pool, but still great. As we were celebrating our Anniversary our room had petals & arty towels on it on arrival and a cake arrived. Location is perfect next to markets, Hardrock, hooters and 10min walk to Central and main shopping centre and Bangala Rd. This was our 4th visit to Grand Mercure, we first went as it opened and will be back again.

Being rainy season we had a lot more rain than normal this year. But its always warm and sometimes its nice to get wet to cool down. Pool bar drinks were expensive.

Beautiful hotel, we had pool access and loved it. Great staff, amazing breakfast buffet and great location as well, it was pretty central to everything and Bangla road was about a 15 minute walk as well which was ok. We basically walked everywhere and had no issues. Compared to the other hotels we seen around Phuket, we felt we made the best choice and would definitely stay again if we were to come back to Phuket.

The rooms were a bit small but manageable, and the lighting in the rooms was shocking it was so dark in there even with all the lights on.
