The hostel is clean, with a great location and it’s quiet. Cleaning and water are provided every day. The only thing missing was a drying rack on the balcony.

Hip Hostel is a no frills, cheap, and clean stay for anyone in the Patong area. It's extremely close to Jungceylon and other plazas / malls as well as the infamous Bangla Street and Patong Beach itself. The staff are super polite and helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. Would recommend other travellers to stay here!

The room description and pictures mentioned a safety deposit box in the room, but nothing was available in our room. The bathroom had a slightly wet/damp smell when we checked in, but overall it was okay.

The Hip Hostel is the right place to be in Patong beach of you are up for the night life. Just a 2 minute walk from Bangla Road, this is the perfect location to make sure you get home fast at the end of the day. The back alley that takes you to the hostel has everything on it: tattoo shop, massage parlor, scooter rental, hair dress, 7-11 shop...all right there. There is a weed dispensary in the lobby...so what more can you ask for. The room was clean and there is AC that keeps the room cool over the day. Just keep in mind that this is in the middle of the city, so it s not for a relaxing stay. It s just a shielded space in the middle of the madness that Patong beach is. You get out...your right back in.

- The property turn off the air con at 11AM-2PM for room service, for those who leave early it’s absolutely okay, but for some partygoers who wake up so late, might find just a bit uncomfortable.

The hostel is located very near with bangka road, but surprisingly there wasnt any loud noise that disturb us in the night. Its also very near with the mall and 7/11. Our room was bigger than we expected and they cleaned it everyday, the water heater works perfectly fine. Definitely a hidden gem that everyone who wants to go to Phuket must know. Thank you for having us.

Very nice accommodation, clean and tidy. Beautiful cozy room. Fresh water and new towels every day. You can arrange transport to different locations from the accommodation (Krabi, Phi phi islands, Railay,...)

We didn't know about the party vibe, which is everywhere nearby. So consider it by booking, if you want this location. Otherwise, everything was great.

The location is very good. Around the corner from a family mart and just a 4 minute walk to Bangla road. The staff are friendly. The dorms are decent. The bunks have pull curtains which is nice.

Lockers could be bigger. Bathrooms get a bit musty and its annoyong to go in after someone has had a shower and the whole floor is always wet.

Very clean! Beds comfortable and sheets very soft. We had to walk all the way until the 4th floor, keep that in mind. We're young and fit, so we didn't mind. The shower doesn't have a curtain but that's all over Asia. The AC was strong! And we couldn't hear anything from the main party street, we were worried but it turned out to be the perfect spot

The WiFi didn't reach our room with the same speeds as in the ground floor

This place is in the middle of patong area, located in a calm street away from the loud clubs, and you only need 2 minutes to reach the famous Bangla road, Which was perfect for those who love to party or just get a good sleep! It’s tiny but cozy! The bathrooms are clean, since each room has its own bathroom, so basically we were only 6 ppl sharing the toilets! And everyday they were cleaning the room and changing the towels at 11-12 am which was perfect!

The bed are a bit noisy when you move, no privacy curtains

This place is a gem. It is about a five minute walk to Bangla road, and about 15 minutes to walk to the beach. The room is very clean, I would even call it spotless. For the price this place is definitely worth it. The bathroom is also very clean. And the ac works very well. We booked this place last minute, and were very happy.

Although it is a hostel, it is not very social. As we are traveling as a couple it's not a big deal, but may be harder if you are a solo traveller.
