Breakfast was good. Room price was excellent.staff were friendly especially Samuel in the pool bar. Pool towels in room. Newly refurbished room was excellent.

Extra check out time would have been appreciated. Pool was smaller than it appeared on the photos.

Honestly, this hotel is a little gem! My husband and I stayed 11 nights in a lovely refurbished room, 2nd floor overlooking well maintained pool area. Accommodation was huge, clean, comfy large bed with modern bathroom. The room had a lovely reading / lounging seat by the window. Breakfast outstanding with good daily choice. Cannot fault the location, as super close to beautiful beach and multiple restaurants. In addition, all the staff at Karon Sea Sands were just delightful - always smiling, friendly and very helpful. From reception staff, to housekeeping, pool and restaurant teams - a big thank you! Would highly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

The room had plenty of space, rooms cleaned daily, comfy bed. Plenty of storage. Breakfast had plenty of options, only thing I would have liked was fresh squeezed orange juice or similar, the juices were more like cordial. The beach is beautiful but in August the water is fairly rough with choppy waves, red flags on the beach often to bring awareness of rips etc. Just need to swim with care. The staff were amazing, courteous, helpful, friendly. Helped organize day trips etc. Quiet location too, entrance up a short laneway off the main road, but close to shops & beach.

The aircon was very efficient & certainly needed, coming out of winter in Australia, but it was a bit noisy, especially for sleeping. It was different for us putting the toilet paper in the bin instead of the toilet, but we got used to that.

This hotel is right across the road from the beach, so super convenient. Hotel has a very long swimming pool, only thing missing is a couple of slides for the kids. Hotel breakfast is decent. We had a 2-bedroom apartment room which was very spacious, comfy, and 2 bathrooms. It served us very well. Now for the minor gripes, there were some tiny ants in the kitchen area and one of the bathrooms, we had to call someone to get these sprayed, I think this is a general problem though and quite a common issue in Phuket. The mattress was very comfortable, but the pillows were uncomfortable. One bathroom had a handy bidet and the other didn't. Having said this, the staff were so nice and friendly, we would come here again.

no one from the hotel told us we got discount at O’Reillys and roof top bar next door, both owned by the hotel! we went there quite alot!

The staff and everything else that comes with it. We went to Banana Beach in tge morning of the last day. Checked in 18/7 and checked out the next day. Checked out earlier and came back for the luggage later. But we needed to change and we had no towels. We were allowed to use the shower at the swimming pool and the gym and given towels too, with some deposit which was perfectly fine. We were so grateful to those at the front deak on 19/7. Tq so much. You all really made our day. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean too. Will return some day.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the beach was a just across the road, the pool was perfect. O'Reilly's Irish Bar attached to the hotel was brilliant, all of the staff were fantastic and very welcoming and they served great food, the roof top bar was excellent. Would definitely recommend you give them a try.

The breakfast was very average, we felt it catered mainly towards the Chinese guests of which there were many of them but the staff at breakfast did a fantastic job.

Not much. The breakfast was very poor. Coffee not bad. I dont know what you use for bacon but it's not bacon. The food really not good. I dont eat eggs so they may have been fine for those who do.

The food. The lunch in O'Reilly's - I had the "English Breakfast". Sorry this is not an English breakfast and should not be advertised as such. The staff were nice and my friend had Thai food which he said was good. Also a nice place to have a beer. But the English breakfast was really quite unacceptable.

Great location and exceptional staff.

Very shallow pool. Understaffed in egg preparation area, often confusion over orders placed. Closed in awkward spot which created over crowding. Took staff sometime to clean up after a young child vomited in dining area and foyer. Toaster did not work well, it required patrons to reach under grill to retrieve toast. Additionally difficult spot.

What can we say about Karon Sea Sands, Phuket other than it is the BEST!!!! We chose Karon Sea Sands to celebrate a very special birthday and they could not have made the whole stay more special. We cannot praise or thank Peanuts enough for not only organizing a lovely room for us but for her beautiful smile and conversation. She and Jane at reception were a delight and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast crew were equally as wonderful and we must make a special mention of Cherry and Yee who greeted us with a smile every morning. We have to say the breakfast spread rivelled any of the 5star hotels and Yee makes a mean omelette. He and Cherry surprised my husband with a ‘pancake cake’ complete with candle and a happy birthday song on his special day!! And of course the simply gorgeous On. What a beautiful, beautiful soul, like the others always with a smile and a hug, tirelessly tending to the rooms and checking if there was anything we needed. She overwhelmed us when we came home from the beach on my husband’s birthday to find a happy birthday message made from leaves and decorated with flowers and two elephants made from towels on the bed!! Unbelievable! We were deeply touched. It looked like art – so talented. Basically, what more could you want from a holiday. A lovely, relaxed hotel with huge, clean rooms, balcony and fridge with the most amazing people you could ever wish to meet and an amazing breakfast every day while being just across the road from the beautiful, clean, clear waters of Karon beach. Thank you Peanuts, Jane, Cherry, Yee and On and all the other wonderful staff at Karon Sea Sands!! From Barrington & Sheree
