Both myself and my wife, 2 retired teachers from Ireland, having spent the previous month touring Thailand, made Naiyang Park Resort our last port of call before heading to the airport in Phuket to return home. From the moment we stepped inside this hotel, we were treated like royalty by the entire staff who welcomed us with a complimentary drink and made us feel very much at home. We were treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout by every single person on the staff with courtesy and humility….we felt like a king and queen. We had stayed in many hotels and hotel rooms in Thailand during our tour but this one topped the lot! The hexagonal - shaped chalet had oceans of room, had everything we needed and a fabulous bathroom/shower area. Having checked in and dropped our hand bags (our flight cases were brought by staff), we headed across to the beautiful sandy west-facing beach for a swim and to watch the sun sink slowly into the Andaman Sea. Back then for a swim in the fabulous 25m pool and shower before dinner. It gets even better…….. About 9 pm we headed out for a lovely dinner in the front restaurant - not at all crowded (to our liking) and were serenaded by a 4 - piece band playing “golden oldies “ and easy - listening music with a girl vocalist which we loved. After a wonderfully quiet and refreshing night’s sleep, we awoke to the sound of tropical birds enchanting in the surrounding tropical verdure outside our room. It felt like we were in Paradise! Following an early-morning swim and a hearty breakfast, we were fully refreshed and ready to head to the Airport in the complimentary 2 - way chauffeur service and the long journey back to Ireland. We loved absolutely everything about this fabulous hotel! Can’t wait to return again.

Should’ve stayed longer!

Naiyang Park Resort is a quiet, rustic, small Thai resort across the road from Naiyang Beach. Near to airport but within a national park, it is far from the madding crowd of south Phuket. Staff were wonderful. Room and amenities were excellent. No 'kids club' meant there was real peace and quiet for those seeking same.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Set among the lush gardens. Seats & table outside on verandah. Aircon worked well. Bathroom & shower is huge and well stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was great - a mixture of Thai style dishes and western options. Bacon, egg station, sausages, baked beans, toast, dim sum, croissants, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, waffles, salad, yoghurt, fruit salad + about 8 Thai options per day (pad Thai, curries, rice, stir fries). Best coffee of the trip too! Pool is large enough for everyone, it has a spa and a fenced off shallow area for smaller children. Plenty of day beds and shade. Bar in pool area and can order food from restaurant. 7am-7pm access Gym is well equipped and all in working condition. 7am-7pm access Onsite day spa was great. Would recommend. Beach directly opposite is very clean and much quieter as there's less accommodation in the national park. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Some have better English than others but didn't have any problems with communication. Onsite bar and restaurant. Live music at night. Very quiet, no airport noise. Main walking street approx 4 minute walk away. Beach style dining, restaurants, bars, massages, convenience store etc.

Showers were cold on occasion but not an issue in the heat. 2 room keys would be appreciated.

Superb location. Near to the airport with a free transfer offered. Short walk across the road to the beach, then a short walk to Pearl village and the restaurants set on; the beach. Great buffet breakfast included in our rate. Great selection of fresh fruits, Thai food. Lovely pool to relax by. Rooms set in lush tropical gardens,

The staff were wonderful. Very helpful with all of our needs. The location is north and amongst the National so has a more laidback vibe but we loved the restaurants outside of the resort as well as the restaurant inside the resort.

We chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near the airport, which turned out to be a great decision. If you have some spare time, you can take a scenic 20-minute walk along the beach and watch planes take off right overhead—a unique and exciting experience. Just outside the hotel, heading left, you’ll find a good selection of restaurants and a few shops, making it easy to grab a meal or drink. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety and we also treated ourselves to a relaxing massage. The large pool was another highlight—perfect for cooling off and unwinding after a day out. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay, especially for those needing easy airport access.

- We had quite some wifi connection issues in our room - If you are looking for being close to a clean and nice beach, other areas in Phuket may be better

Located only 5 mins drive from the airport, it was easy to get to. Great after a long flight. Our check in was easy, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our bungalow was generously sized and at the back of the compound. It was only a short walk to a great pool area, or a little further, across the road to the beach. The buffet style breakfast had something for everyone. It’s a short walk into the beachfront village where there are restaurants and massage places, enough to keep you happy. It’s a nice quiet area, we didn’t feel harassed every few steps as we have done in Patong. It was rainy season, so the resort provides huge golf style umbrellas for each bungalow so you can still explore the area and remain relatively dry.

While our bungalow was at the back of the compound and the area was generally quiet, there were dogs in the area behind the resort that would bark at various times night and day. Earplugs were invaluable. At night, animals would eat the nuts in the trees overhanging our bungalow and drop things on the roof, also quite loud. Again, earplugs! It didn’t affect us, but there is some construction happening on the property. I imagine it could be inconvenient for those situated in bungalows nearby.

The rooms were spacious, the bed very comfortable. The gardens were beautiful. I liked that the bungalows were single floor, unlike the concrete blocks that seem to be popping up everywhere. I liked the decor which had enough touches to make you realize that you were in Thailand. The breakfast was good.

I would have liked more shade around the pool.

We only stayed here for 1 night before we flew home, so didn't have much of an opportunity to use much of the facilities. The room however, was nice, spacious and very clean. Staff were extremely polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel offers free airport transfers between 7am-7pm. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 6am for our flight but the staff were more than happy to arrange a taxi for us.

As the pathways around the rooms are all wooden, suitcases do make a lot of noise when being pulled across - not a problem during the day, however we felt like we would wake everyone up dragging our cases out the next morning. The curtains in the rooms also let in a lot of light. We had a flood light directly outside our window which lit the room up when we turned the lights out. We both had to sleep wearing eye masks.

It was near the airport (8 mins drive). Beautiful facitilities and hotel overall - felt like in the jungle. Near the beach. 7-elven is near too. Free transfer (1 way only) to the airport.

Pool is closed very early (7PM)., which is pretty sad as we arrived at 8PM only. Pretty long walk to the bungalow room. Free transfer is limited to 7AM-7PM only.
