We've been here for 12 nights. Today is our last day, and I asked for a later checkout. The young ladies at reception didn't hesitate to approve my request. We have been so happy staying here at Sugar Marina Hotel Surf. All of the staff have been very polite and accommodating. The room, breakfast, and the swimming pool have been fantastic. We come to Phuket every year and this has been the best accommodation we have had. We are travelling next year with our family and looking forward to staying here again. Comfortable Bed / clean and modern furnished room / friendly Hotel staff / good working aircondition / breakfast is ok for the price ,small buffet with a choice of a bit of all ( western + thaifood ) / arround the hotel there are some restaurants like massage salons / shops / money exchange / Hotel room with pool view was nice and quiet

From all rooms with a pool view you can see the shell of a building that borders the hotel. There was no work being done on the construction site during my stay. It can get loud when they are working.... I was in the hotel last year already and i didn't see any change of the building which is under construction.... Maybe it's a ruin and will never be finished, I wouldn't be surprised

The girl on reseption was very friedly. The breakfast was okay.

The personel at the hotel was unfriedly. Pool and the sun beds were dirty. Too much russians at the hotel. They don`t follow hotel instructions and don`t understand what buffet means. You don`t need to take plate full on food and leave lots on food on a plate if you don`t like the food or you are not able to eat all. You can first taste little and then go and get more if you like it.

the location was absolutely perfect, less than a minute to the night market, all the restaurants, bars and shops are right there at the bottom of the road. the rooms are big and spacious, cleaned everyday with fresh towels and 2 bottles of water. the beds are huge with the comfiest pillows. the pool was nice and clean. nothing was too much trouble for the staff. would definitely stay here again.

The property is conveniently located close to the centre of Kata and very close to the beach. Also the Phuket Smart bus station is just 5 mins walk. The room was very clean and they provide you with the beach towels. The staff was also very friendly. Also I want to add that they homemade waffles for breakfast were so good, I couldn’t stop eating them every morning during our stay.

The hotel's tuck-away location from the noise of the main street, offers guests a tranquil retreat. The spacious and comfortable room further enhanced our experience. The amenities around the vicinity were within easy walking distance, ensuring effortless access. Additionally, the bus service connecting to renowned beaches added a layer of convenience, allowing us to fully enjoy our stay.

The hotel's signboards must be prominently displayed, as even Google Maps failed to accurately pinpoint its exact location. Seeking assistance from locals led us to a different place due to the confusion caused by similar names but with different indications at various locations. Lugging a heavy suitcase, and looking for this elusive hotel's location, added to our frustrations on the first day of our vacation.

Provides two water bottles for each day of stay. Provides beach mat & tote for the beach. Love the tub and the big shower.

The wifi was awful. It did not work 95% of the time. It kept disconnecting and you had to reconnect. Even after reconnecting it will still disconnect again. It was very disappointing and frustrating as when you’re paying for a higher end accommodation and have no wifi is money wasted.

No need to add photos. The hotel is as described. Well-situated, within short walking distance of the beach, night market, shops, restaurants, bars, and main road. Rooms are well appointed, quiet, with a cool, contemporary surf vibe. The hotel has both a standard gym and boxing room (e.g. for those training Muay Thai). Breakfast is excellent. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

The room was really well designed. Great bed, AC and wifi. Pool was lovely though no drinks or snacks available Which is something missing when you’re lounging there for a while. Breakfast room a buffet are great. Lovely selection. Though not in the way of dairy free options.

The hotel is a good 10min walk from the beach, which on a boiling hot day can feel long.

The room itself is very nice and comfortable. Location is very central, close to the beach, night market, great foods places.

The staff is not nice, they don’t even respond to good morning. Seems that they really hate their jobs.
