The nightmarket is just in front of the guesthouse so a huge variety of food and drinks. Despite the proximity of the night market, our room was quiet. Breakfast was nice and sufficient to get you through the morning. The road to the beach was close by which is a plus as you can only access it from each end (think there are hotels/private areas in the middle so can't walk through). Effort was put in to the security of the guesthouse after hours and early morning.

Overall for what we paid for it's pretty good. We could feel the springs of the bed but we still slept okay. We had to ask for extra pillows as they were quite flat. It was a little hard to communicate with staff (asked for scrambled eggs for breakfast but got sunny side up). However, I'm sure this can be overcome with google translate.

San Antonio Beach Guesthouse is one of the best destinations to stay at during a vacation or any other trip at Kata Beach! It's located directly in the Kata Walking Street (Night Market), so directly in the city center you can say and only about 8 min. walking time to the beach <3 but still it's very quiet in the room during the whole day (except if there are some restorations going on around). The rooms are really big and comfy, with a King Size Bed very comfortable and an additional single bed (I didn't use, only for putting my clothes there, but the mattress was a bit strange...directly hard feeling the feathers...) Everything was perfectly clean and all you can see in the pictures and read in the description you can trust on that you'll find everything in your room. The air condition works very well, you need your room key for activation. You get a free water bottle and coffee powder every day and you can get full every day cleaning if you like^^ I didn't use this a lot, mostly only I asked for taking out my trash and sometimes new towels. The staff is absolutely great, so friendly and helpful - especially the host/manager Vito - such a lovely Italian guy <3 I extended my stay here around 5-6 times (the last 3 times directly for cash at the reception) because I fell in love with the location in Phuket and this guesthouse, it was no problem at any time, I just got family vibes here! And not to forget: the restaurant/pizzeria is really good, very good Pizza and Pasta, also Seafood - and great Cocktails! When I come back to Kata Beach some time (It's definitely in my plans!) this is going to be my very first address =) Totally recommend San Antonio Beach Guesthouse! Vito and the girls were all wonderfull! I stayed 14 days, everyone was very kind the whole time I was there and I will miss them. I arrived before check-in but was able to store my bags and was offered a towel so that I could go to the beach until my room was ready. The bed is firmer than I am used to, but I slept very well and had no issues with it. The AC cooled off the room well, but I didn't use it the whole time. The shower has good water pressure, and water comes out hot. The WiFi has very good connection. My photo of the room would have looked better if I took during the day with the shades open, but it's what I had. The location is within walking distance to several beaches. Vito has a good menu for his restaurant downstairs, the Kata Walking Street right outside with food vendors with whatever else you might want to eat, and has grocery/convenience stores if you are on a budget. I strongly recommend staying at San Antonio Beach Guesthouse and looking forward to staying with them again. Side note: the food stalls are all closed on Sundays. I found checking in on Sunday worked well for me with how tired I was from the flights. Either way don't worry about the noise, I didn't have any problems sleeping with the activity outside when I had an early night.

Nothing. Everything was great! An AC unit was being serviced one day for another room, so there wasn't power for a short time, but anyone who complains about that has unreal expectations.

I liked everything about this property. Starting from the room that was spacious, comfy and with very good AC and refrigerator. Vito is a great owner and host. Either of you are Italian and you want to find a bit of your country while in Thailand or if you’re not, you will always be able to chat with him and get some really good recommendations about the island. The location is perfect, very close to a 7/11 and even if the hotel is super central the room is extremely quiet. We also rent a motorcycle from Vito and the experience was exellent. I highly recommend this place!

Everything was great!

We genuinely loved the host, as he is a really good and chill person and very helpful with tips on which routes to drive with our car to see nice views and beautiful beaches, elephants etc. We wanted to see the Phi Phi Islands so he contacted the tour people himself and we didn't have to worry about it. The other staff was very nice and friendly too! The guesthouse-restaurant had amazing food. It had both (for an european) a familiar and safe italian food, which the host made himself (being an italian man he is!) and authentic thai cuisine made by thai staff. The breakfast was really good, with proper coffee(very important to me). The location of the property is right in the night market, which was very convenient and wasnt disturbing at all, the room was calm and not noisy. Overall we felt very comfortable and cozy there. Everything was really clean and nice and true to pictures! We stayed for 4 nights, 2 adults and 1 preschooler. Our expectations were definitely exceeded, even though I already read some nice reviews of this place. We definitely would pick this guesthouse over a five star fancy hotel :)

This homestay is amazing, clean, comfortable, and well-located. Despite being in the middle of the bustling Kata street market, my room was surprisingly quiet. Vito was fantastic, offering plenty of great tips and always being available to answer any questions. I can highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice, quiet spot that’s also close to all the party spots and beautiful beaches.

Great 3 night stay! Self check in was easy and hassle free. We felt very secure with the front locks. Breakfast is worth the extra cost, very big portions! Staff and Vito were welcoming and Vito helped us with advice on our visa extension too. Location is superb, right in the heart of the Kata walking street night market and nearby cafes, bars, and 5 minutes from the beach. Room is spacious, aircon and WiFi work brilliantly. Everything you need and more

San Antonio GH in Kata beach is a lovely and quiet place . I have found a homey feeling with friendly owner Vito and wife. Large and clean rooms with TV and both A/C and fan are ideal for families with kids and were an axtra plus for me used to small single rooms. The convenient restaurant and bar downstairs offers Italian as well as Thai food at competitive price. All located in a quiet street at walking distance from a night food and fruits market and both Kata and Karon beaches. Vito is even renting scooters to his customers. I had booked 3 nights and stayed 6. Definitely to be recommanded.

This was one of the best stays we had in whole of Thailand. The rooms were very big, the bed was amazing, there was a fridge, airco and fan. Everything was super clean. The owners are super friendly and help you when needed. For example, he arranged a scooter for us, which went very smoothly. The rooms had free water, coffee and tea. The shower was great (hot water and power on the water). We had breakfast here which was also great. I would highly recommend to eat the pastas here. The owner is from Puglia (Italy) and the food was one of the best Italian food we had in a long time, even better than a lot of pastas we ate in Italy. The red wine and Limencello are also amazing. I can not recommend this place enough. Would defines come back when in Phuket. The quality you get for the price in sleeping and eating is outstanding.

Our host Vito was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was huge and spacious, regularly cleaned, clean towels and bedding and bottles of water, toilet roll daily. Good choice of breakfast with fresh juice and coffee. Central location to shops taxis, bus stops and beaches. Would highly recommend this Guest house A******
