The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Lockers were big and could fit our backpacks and day packs too. Out room also had a balcony which was nice. Close to the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants everywhere. The showers were great, if a bit weird, as the head is over the toilet. But great pressure and temperature! We were able to book our onward travel from reception which was handy and a tiny bit cheaper than 12go, including collection. A rinse and drying area as you come.in from the beach

Lots of mosquitoes in the corridors between room and showers - which were on the level above our dorm. We didn't mind the stairs, just the mosquitoes! No privacy curtains, which most other dorms have for this price. The other thing that would improve this hostel is if they provided towels - but we would stay here again and recommend! Clean, comfy and good value for Phuket!

Excellent hostel, 6 bunk rooms are spacious with great air conditioning and a balcony straight off the room. Not sure the 4 bunk rooms are quite as good? multiple showers with 24 hour hot water. Kitchenette and big fridge supplied with cups, plates and all the basics. The beds are super comfortable and the wifi was excellent. Right next door is a night market with all the food options you could ever ask for. Motorbike parking right across the street. You can organise tours and everything you want at the tour desk at the front of the property. Elle Kwan - the manager/check in staff/tour lady is amazing. She is super lovely and she made this stay extra special. We had her WhatsApp just in case of emergencies but didn't need it. There is also a full time cleaner who constantly cleans the bathrooms and sweeps and mops and keeps everything super tidy and she is always smiling too. They come in and make your bed each day for you which is a nice touch. We stayed a week and had several change overs of people in our rom but everyone is very respectful and quiet, Its not a loud party hostel and we loved it here.

The only thing I can think of is that in the shower rooms sometimes the water didn't flow away very fast? it might have been some sand in the pipes? but its not a serious issue. Lots of Russian people and Russian signwritig in Kata/Karon if that floats your boat.

Everything was perfect. I was in a 6 bed mixed dormitory and we also had a balcony where you can leave your swimsuit to dry or where you can enjoy a cigarette. The locker is big enough for a big backpack . Everyday room service, they make your bed and every two or three days they change your bedsheets !!! Bathroom is very clean too but toilet and shower are together ! The lady at the reception was so friendly and helpful , she was absolutely amazing you can clearly see she loves her job. She helped me book the tours to Phi Phi Islands (definitely a must do) and the tour around Phuket. The hostel is less than 10 minutes walk to Kata Beach which is very beautiful and you can watch there a breathtaking sunset.

The hostel is located very close to the kata beach. It is practically on the main road, which will eliminate the need to walk through the heat for those who use smart bass. At the same time the hostel is located in a quiet place and this will allow you to sleep in silence. There is a market nearby. The staff are very friendly and can offer you tours, entertainment and transport hire at a good price.

The bed is not screwed to the wall which creates serious discomfort with any movement for everyone in the room.

The place is really clean and in the rooms have huge locker storage space. There are toilet and showers for every bed! Room had terrace. The best in the hostel is the lady on the reception - Khuan. She helped me to find really good price for everything!

One of the best bathrooms I've had at a hostel, spacious, clean & great water pressure with a big shower head. The balcony area is handy for drying clothes after spending a day at the beach. You can book everything you need like tours, onward travel etc through the owner. Can also get laundry done. It's right next to a food market and a 10 min walk to the beach. Directly opposite a decent massage parlour to relieve tension after a long day trip. Plenty of storage in the lockers for all of your belongings

Would be nice to be provided with a towel but this isn't a deal breaker

I had a great stay at Sino Hostel! The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurant. Despite being on a big street, the hostel is quiet. The mixed dorm with 6 beds was huge, with big lockers, comfy beds, sockets and reading light. The toilets on the upper floor were really clean. Also, I'd like to thank you Khuan for always being nice and helpful. She helped me book a day tour and the ticket for my next destination. I would recommend highly recommend staying at Sino! :)

The host Kuan is very helpful, Give me good delays for all tour and show araund. My favourite trip was coral island tripand my fivret show was siamword, I highly recommend book tours with host.

I like the location, everything was around. Also entry to the beach wasn't too far. Hostel was clean and taken care of. AC in the room worked really well.

You pay deposit 300 for the towel and 60 for itself.
