It was nice, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located from main touristy attractions. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Sometimes the water was not hot in the shower, and the WiFi wasn't great.

Absolute fantastic hideout in nature. By the river & in midst of jungle. If you love Solitude & peace, it's perfect. Spacious, clean room with AC, fan, fridge. Wifi is good in reception and on-off in rooms. Very near to the Khao Sak lake pier and they arrange transport.

Apart from breakfast, they don't have a restaurant, so for lunch and dinner either you have to order in (they gave the restaurant details and they speak workable English), but you need a working phone connection for that. Otherwise, there is a nice restaurant about 500-600 mtr away but with aged people it's a bit of journey and also during night it's pitch black. Secondly, since it's right in the middle of the national park, after dark you really can't work around and there is nothing to do at the property, not even a bar.

We loved our bungalow! We had an outside bathroom with a bathtub in a shape of a heart <3 the room was big and with a view on the river (around 18:30 you can hear and observe the water flow rising because of the dam opening!). Bed was huge and super comfortable. We also took breakfast and it was a choice of eggs or omlet (good one!), fruits and toasts with jam. We liked that there was Ovomaltine chocolate to drink ;) Close by there are 2 good restaurants. We used the option of renting a motorbike (they come pick you up and take you to the rental!) which is much needed in this area. We asked the owners of our accommodation for recommendations where to go (despite the lake tour, which we did in the morning before the check-in) and one of them was absolutely amazing - the Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma temples! Mystical path connecting 5-6 temples, each of them is unique and they all have a great view. We can also recommend the Wang Matcha cave (and the Diamond/Kaew cave above it) and the Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary (very ethical, we went there for the 40-minutes feeding).

Beautiful and peaceful place by the river surrounded with a lot of green. The Owner was super nice and helpful with guidance, booking tours, rides, and everything we needed. The room was more than enough for us three. It is very close to the river where you can take boat tours and explore around.

Except from the river there is really not much around. It is pretty far from the closest town and about 1 hour drive from Kaho Sok National Park. Breakfast was really basic and small portion. Toilet was leaking when flushing.

The property is located in a calm and nice area, in the middle of nature. Having a rented car was definitely an advantage for us, being able to easily get there and also explore the area freely. The area is really nice in terms of nature and people, as it’s not very touristy - this is where we had the most authentic food in Thailand. It’s worth mentioning that we initially booked a family room with garden view (which was a bit rudimental, with bathroom outside in open air), but we had the option to upgrade on site to the room with river view for a small extra price difference which was definitely worth every cent - here we had a private bathroom. Bed was really comfortable.

Location is really remote and getting around without a rented car might not be too fun. Breakfast is really basic and the same every morning, we would not recommend booking it extra. The room with “river view” does not have a nice view, but in our case it came with a private bathroom.

THE DOGS, they are many and so clingy, do not follow orders, do not allow you to fully immerse in the beautiful nature surrounding the resort It is a remote location, for someone who wants to go to the city or have a ride, it would be expensive as non of the delivery apps (indrive, Bolt, grap) cover that area. The hostess helpt us get a ride to the airport but for more price that we are used to.

Baandin Chiewlarn is ideally situated close to the Khao Sok National Park & Rajjaprabha Dam. Breakfast overlooking the river was really nice each fresh brisk morning. The nights are extremely quiet and peaceful. To my surprise the room wi-fi was much faster than what we have in Australian cities. We booked two rooms, they were both very large and comfortable. Various places to go out for dinner which served great meals where only 5 minutes away. Can highly recommend Baandin Chiewlarn

The only negative point I can think of is the mattress. It was very hard. Otherwise all was good.

The room was beautiful with amazing aircon! The outdoor shower was really cool too. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was simple but nice. There are hotel dogs and ducks running around which was really sweet too! There are restaurants about a 10 minute walk away- really cheap and amazing food. Super close to the lake

The outdoor toilet was definitely an acquired taste but cool to experience anyway! Getting taxis to the lake was not easy or cheap. Not the hotels fault but worth baring in mind

Beautiful relaxing view. They have a fishing pond for 100 Thai Bat to fish in. My son loved it for killing time. The staff were all very kind, friendly and generous. It was easy to walk to the extension bridge to see Heart Mountain and an amazing Buddhist Monastery next to it, and lovely affordable cafe's. They easily set up Taxis and Tuk Tuk's for us, along with local recommendations. We went to the local family swimming area that was very beautiful and cooling.

The breakfast that they offered could be beefed up a bit, it's just a basic egg and toast breafast. It's easy to walk to cafe's though.
