Owner offers small conveniences which add up to the experience like a good exchange rate, affordable water, conveniently arranging tours and transfers. Chose the property over others because of the sweet-spot between location & good terrace pictures. Many properties claiming great (sunrise) photo-opportunities, often face the sun dead on, yielding photos with harsh sunlight. This property has two charming fairy-candles located conveniently in frame and facing appropriately so the photos are not burnt out. Balloons fly in the direction of the hotel giving good pics. Also can view the balloons filling in a nearby field in the early morning. On a cold day, having the main-stretch of town literally 2 turns away is much appreciated when walking about with freezing, hungry kids. The central location is also favourable during the tour-van pick-ups since one gets dropped off early without much wait for other groups staying in slightly more peripheral hotels. Good wholesome breakfast prepared by the family who runs this place.

Although it did NOT affect our comfort, a real fireplace advertised in the room-pictures was one of the attractions my children were looking forward to and added to the choice of this property, versus others. The fireplace though is now not functional. One minor crib is that the lights in the room are a bit dim, which some may find cozy as a personal preference. I prefer really bright rooms.

We had an amazing holiday at Stone Palace Göreme! The hotel was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Cappadocia. A special mention to Orhan, the best host ever! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations and making us feel at home. His hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place with excellent service, cleanliness, and a great location, look no further. We highly recommend Stone Palace Göreme and will definitely be back!

The Cappadocia Stone Palace in Göreme is truly a gem. The building itself is made of stone and features wooden beams and stone carvings. It’s tastefully decorated with Turkish rugs and textiles. The rooftop terrace is a premium viewing spot for the hot air balloons. There are two nearby fairy chimneys and the sun rises behind the ridge at the rear of the hotel so it’s a great spot for photos both in terms of lighting and framing the shots. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts which are on the rooftop terrace every morning. The buffet style spread is truly impressive featuring a wide array of bread, pastries, vegetables, eggs, deli meat, olives, cheese and fresh fruits. Our room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The a/c and the wifi both worked well and we appreciated having the mini-fridge to keep our beverages cool. But it was the gracious old world hospitality offered by the staff that made our stay truly memorable. We are especially grateful to Orhan at the front desk for his assistance and recommendations and especially for arranging the hot air balloon ride for us. It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience. We highly recommend the Cappadocia Stone Palace.

The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave. We stayed 4 nights and wish it could’ve been longer.

Beautiful stone building with wooden beams and stone carved details. The decor features traditional Turkish textiles and ceramics. The view from the rooftop terrace is exceptional and is a great place for taking photos. A traditional Turkish breakfast is served buffet style. It was a truly impressive spread; the best we’ve had in Türkiye. Staff are polite and welcoming. The young man at the front desk was particularly helpful with recommendations for tours and restaurants. The location is great, a very short walk from many shops and restaurants. But it is also quiet at night and we slept well.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Cappadocia, STAY HERE. On paper, all the options you have look and seem the same but you will not get the same experience if you don't stay here. We were BLOWN AWAY by this place because the owner and staff truly made you feel like you're staying in someone's warm and welcoming home. Anything we needed, the staff accommodated us right away. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help with anything at all that we needed. The owner, Halil, knows all the best spots, can help getting any tours you need, and really ensures you have the best experience possible. Everything was spacious, clean, comfortable, the food was amazing, and everyone who works here really cares about you having a wonderful experience. If we stayed anywhere else we wouldn't be nearly as happy about our whole trip and staying here really made our trip.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Stone Palace hotel. Its location is perfect for exploring Goreme and the surrounding areas and its room large, super clean and comfortable. The customer service of the staff is what really stands out, though - absolutely 6 star, first class! 👏 Breakfast on the terrace was superb - freshly home cooked, very tasty, varied, and plentiful. And the terrace was a fantastic location for watching the balloons, which is an amazing sight to see. There are likely grander hotels to stay at in Goreme, but given the price, location, homeliness and customer service at Stone Palace, if we ever returned to Goreme, we would not think about staying anywhere else. We had an amazing time at this small boutique hotel! The rooms were comfortable and clean, with air conditioning and a big shower. The rooftop terrace was beautiful with perfect views of the hot air balloons, some of them get really close to the terrace. I also love the rock formations directly around the building because it makes the views even more unique and pretty for photos. Since the hotel is smaller it was really peaceful and quiet. We watched the balloons with one other couple and then they left and we had it to ourselves for awhile before the next people came. The breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly! It is also easy to schedule airport shuttles, tours, etc with the hotel. We booked everything through them the day before each excursion with ease. The location is very convenient, super walkable with tons of restaurants and shops nearby but just enough off the main street for it to remain quiet at night. Highly recommend this hotel!

I could not recommend this stay more! The owner is really one of the absolute highlights of this hotel - he out of his way to make the stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible! Upon our arrival at 8am, following a 12hour bus ride, he offered us a spare bed to ensure we could get some extra (much needed) rest before the official check-in. The owner then proceeded to to drive us to our first point of interest, free of charge. And upon check-out , he gifted out with some authentic Turkish delight. Beyond the owner, the rooms were charming, clean, well kept and had good heating (an essential for the cold early mornings and evenings). Breakfast was a delicious wide spread and there was free tea and coffee throughout the day. The location is in the centre of Goreme, and thus is in perfect walking distance to all restaurants, taxis and bus stations. Book this stay! You will not regret it!

I came here for 2 days if my stay and within those 2 days, Stone Palace helped me with everything right from the airport transfer bookings, to the green tours, to the directions of the location. The staff at the reception is very friendly and they treat you with great respect. Another great part of staying at Stone Palace was their location! It is just 2-3 mins from Goreme Main Street where you can go for shopping/ food/ the observation point and many other things. Given that it is so close to the main market, it has a lovely vibe and you can have a great late night walk (it is totally safe). Furthermore, the rooms were very clean and had a big sized washroom, easy for changing clothes etc!

Because of the stone walls, the wifi in the room is quite weak signal, which I believe can be improved.

We stayed 5 nights. Hotels owner and his family were so kind and welcomed us. Since off season he let us choose any room we liked( was free upgraded). Room was big and comfortable. Warm and cozy pillows and comfort bed with with nice blanket. They all were so CLEA. Bathroom was huge and clean. I know some hotels we stayed had bad smell from the drain but this bathroom DO NOT STINK. Nice breakfast with variety choice of food upstairs was served by Family. One of days we drove to Hattusa ruin early morning. He provided us sandwiches from the kitchen since we missed the time.Last day they suggested to us to eat 8:00 instead8:30 for our flight. I just wish prosper for him and his family. They never pushed to sell anything , but always very informative when we need and such a layback people with sweetest hearts. Made our stay the most memorable watch balloons on the roof top. Thank you for letting us stay at your nice place.
