The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were super helpful and gave us lots of great recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. We even got recommendations on where to go for dinner in Kayseri after our stay in Göreme. The breakfast is good and on the hotel terrace so you can enjoy the view over Göreme. The location is also good, everything in Göreme is in walking distance. The hotel provided slippers, which was nice since the stone floor was quite cold.

The mattress felt well used, we kept rolling into a dent in the middle. There were also no hooks for towels in the bathroom. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to note is that it takes about 30 minutes to fill up the bath.

The room was very elegant and spacious. The bed and pillows were super comfortable with good quality linen. My favourite part was the lovely little courtyard - It was such a serene and tranquil space. Breakfast was very generous with a big variety to choose from and is served on the rooftop terrace. Yusuf, our host was absolutely super. He communicated with me beforehand about tours and balloon trips. Unfortunately, the balloons were canceled due to bad weather, but Yusuf booked a tour for us. Luwian Stone house is in an excellent location within close proximity to fairy chimneys (right next to a few) and restaurants. But removed from all the noise. It was very peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Luwian Stone House was so cute and comfy! The rooms were super spacious and well kept, and the family running the place were extremely lovely. With the family running the venue, it had a very homely feel to it which really added to my experience in Cappadocia. Yusuf was such a gem helping me sort out a couple of tours! Breakfast on the terrace was such a delight with the older woman often bringing me a Turkish omelet without asking, and you get a good view of the hot air balloons in the mornings! It’s also only a short distance from the viewing point and the city centre!

We loved every single minute of this stay. The staff was so welcoming and always helpful throughout the stay. I highly recommend getting in touch with them to organize your main activities in Cappadocia (hiking/tours/rentals/balloon flights) they're expert and can give you precious advices. The room was beautiful and very clean and the view on the chimneys was simply amazing. They have a wonderful terrace where every morning you will have breakfast. Let me spend a few seconds on it: home made jams, fresh bread, fresh mezes, fresh fruit from the garden and delicious Turkish omelette. Simply wow. Everything was perfect, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back for another trip to Goreme.

The room was very clean, bright, and similar to the photos. Great location, quiet and very close to restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet was homemade and very delicious. Everyone was very nice and everything went smoothly. Our hot air balloon ride was cancelled due to weather, and Yusuf helped us rebook a different one at a reasonable price. Thank you for a great stay!

The hospitality: all the information, help, and assistance provided by Yusuf were very much appreciated. Perfect location: very central, still quiet, and cosy. The room/bed and shower were comfortable. The room had a fan. There was no air conditioning, but we didn't miss it as in the evenings it was cooling down from the outside heat. The buffet breakfast included some mezze, boiled eggs, fruits, homemade jam, bread, and some sweets. Nice beautiful and relaxing outdoor area. Full of nice kittens 😸

We loved the entire house a lot, nested at the bottom of the Goreme view point with beautiful views and a very friendly and hospitable host. Rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. From the rooftop you get a lovely view of the entire city and balloon flights. Nice breakfast arranged by the owners and cuddly four legged friends roaming around to keep you company. Mustafa arranged for our airport pickup and drop off and responded to all my queries.

Maybe some heavier curtains would be nice to better block the sunlight other than that nothing to complain

This budget friendly, family run guesthouse is conveniently located just a stone's throw away from the tourist strip and a 15 minute walk to the Goreme Open Air museum. Brothers Yusef and Mustafa go out of their way to make you feel welcome as does their mother who puts on a variety of homemade breakfast choices. The room we had - standard double was basic but clean with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and hairdryer provided. The Luwian Stonehouse has free wifi too. The brothers were always happy to help with tour bookings, shuttle bookings etc. We hope to revisit one day!

They served very nice breakfast. They have lovely garden and beautiful view terrace. You can see balloon flight from teracce. They decorated traditional and comfortable room. İ highly recommend them. Yusuf and Mustafa ( brother) were very helpful they organize all activities. İ booked with them. Normally there are lots of companies in Göreme but we don't believe these companies because they don't give guarantee. But Yusuf gave us guarantee for all activities. We flight hot air balloon and do horse riding and join red and green tour. Their mother made very delicious food for guests. İf you want to visit Cappadocia you must choose them

Mustafa, Yusuf and the rest of the family are the best hosts you can dream of in Kapadokya! So thoughtful and helpful without ever being invasive. They love their region and want to share all the top tips and help you organise. They could have a tour agency! The place is ideally located, in the center of it all and yet super peaceful and stunning!
