The facility and rooms are spectacular. We felt like we were in a luxury wonderland. I particularly enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing with the incredible view in a beautiful spot. The location was ideal for easy walking access to the town and restaurants as well as all the local activities.

When we checked in, we felt like we had stepped into one of those time share sales pitches. We could not go to our room until we had the facility tour, which was really an excuse to take us to their shops and try to sell us rugs and other items. Not how we wanted to start when we were hot and tired and just wanted to go relax in our room. Also as beautiful as everything was the mattress on the bed was very hard. We still loved the place, but a more comfortable bed would have been great.

Lovely hotel and the experience of staying in a Cave room was amazing. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and have great amenities such as double shower and double sinks. Hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are friendly and really helpful. Good traditional breakfast and spa facilities are great with two pools, sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and massage options. Great location in Goreme and near to walk to restaurants on an evening although would recommend the on site restaurant as it is delicious. Overall a great stay in Goreme.

It is understandable why the cave rooms do not have air conditioning however it may become a requirement of guests in the future as the rooms do tend to retain heat of the day. You are provided with an electric fan though and this does a good job of circulating air in the room.

Such a unique experience staying in a cave hotel. We had a family room (4202) located at the very 'top' of the complex and it was spacious for a family of four. The hotel is only a 3 minute walk to the centre of Goreme, which is abuzz with cafes, restaurants and shops. All the staff here were friendly and helpful. Seeing the hot air balloons fly overhead was spectacular! Highly recommend this for a memorable stay!

The outdoor pool was cold - not heated at all, which meant we used the indoor pool. However, the indoor pool is part of their spa area, which meant we had to keep noise to a minimum.

I literally loved everything! Our room was absolutely stunning (request a lower floor and tell them you want a big bath, if that’s your preference because the bath was amazing!) beds were super comfortable, we had a huge room. The hotel itself is adorable, it’s so unique. This is perfect for those that love an experience stay. But honestly the staff were phenomenal they made everything perfect for us. No ask was too much and I just really appreciate them making our New Year’s Eve perfect. I highly recommend if you come at new year to do the dinner and ask the hotel to book your activities, you might pay a little extra but anything we booked outside the hotel was cancelled. It’s a great location and just perfect!!!

The atmosphere, design and setting was fairytale like. Just magical. Location was so central and accessible to the numerous restaurants nearby… all walking distance. The staff were just amazing and attentive and the property has an amazing spa with a handmade carpet and tapestry manufacturing shop. The entire property was like walking through a museum. Our room’s balcony had a gorgeous view of the stone formations, valleys and the magical town of Goreme. They have a viewing deck which was an absolute pleasure to relax on both at night and in the morning, where early morning viewing of the hot air balloons is an absolute must.

It is a very nice cave hotel with a lot of facilities, even with a wine fountain! Great experience. They have a museum a Galery, SPA, their own carpet shop (of course we left with a carpet 🤷‍♀️, do we need it ? No. But 🫣🫶). You can watch the baloons right from the terrace. (If you are lucky enough the baloons will get pretty close depends on the wind direction)

It is a cave, so you have to count with it. It is not really sound proof, we had just one super small window to let air come in. I would definitely recomend to stay in such hotel when visiting Goreme but I'm happy that we booked a regular hotel for half of our trip. The cave has its limitations despite it is pictureous. If I would come throug the summer I would be desparate to have AC what is of course not the case in a cave. And the breakfast selection wasnt to my taste I had better at the other place. The swimming pool is a bit deep (1.55m so it is really for swimming not for chilling). These things are not something to improve, just you should count with it when choosing such a hotel.

Hotel was in a brilliant location, really close to the popular view point and a few minutes walk from the centre with loads of restaurants and bars, although tucked away so it was quiet. Amazing view of the hot air balloons at sun rise too from their rooftop terrace. Room was even better than expected, with a hot tub and had been decorated for our anniversary. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, booking our airport transfers, giving us a welcome tour on arrival and were super knowledgable about the area. Really good spread at breakfast also with a lot of choice. 10/10 would recommend!

Would be good to have a few more sunbeds to sunbathe, maybe on one of the courtyards as there were only a few spots for this around the pool area

Visited end of May 2025, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, the reception team and hotel staff were super friendly and respectful, they helped us with booking tours and transportation to and from the airport, we arrived ahead of our check in time, but the room was ready and they allowed us into the room, they gave us a tour around the premises upon arrival. We used the spa services (sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and indoor pool, which are included for hotel guests) and booked a full body massage for 95 euros. There is a menu with about 10 massage types to choose from. Breakfast was included, lots of options, yogurt, cereal, fruits, a nice bread variety, pastries, eggs, sausages, olives, vegetables, coffee, tea, juices). The restaurant is also excellent, we had dinner and lunch, they serve good wines, cocktails and delicious food. The hotel has a few roof tops where you can relax and see the sunrise, and the front yard with the outdoor pool is a nice relaxing place, with free wine tap from 2pm to 6pm!! That was a big nice surprise. Overall Anatolian Houses exceeded our expectations.

The property is perfect if you are looking for luxury and tranquility, but also want to be close to the city centre, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is just so pretty, I was in awe when I saw all the facilities, common areas, the spa with an indoor/outdoor pool (with free access for residents), restaurant, wine tap and the gallery. One of the ladies taught me how to make a carpet and actually got to pull some strings and techniques together. My cave room was spacious and had good views of the balloons from the terrace. Breakfast was good, and I also really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Lastly, the staff was very friendly and contributed to my overall lovely stay.

Although the spa was great and really enjoyed my treatment, there could be some improvements while getting the treatment e.g., music, candles, aroma. This could make the experience 1000 times better. It was a bit distracting hearing little noises from the residents at the pool.

We had such a lovely stay at Anatolian Cave Hotel and Spa. The place is beautiful, full of charm and thoughtful touches, and the staff were so warm and helpful. Our room was one of our favorite parts - it had a cozy loft bed, a gorgeous bath below, and double showers, which felt like such a treat. The landscape around the hotel is stunning, and it’s the perfect spot to watch the balloons in the morning. We actually got engaged during our trip—at sunset, with the most incredible views. It was such a special moment, and coming back to the calm, welcoming atmosphere of the hotel afterwards made it even more memorable. The team also helped us book horse riding and a couples massage, and made the whole thing really easy. Breakfast each day was delicious, such a nice way to start the day. Would absolutely recommend.
