This was my second stay at the same hotel.(after 10 years) Location was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

We asked for a late Checkout as we had a late transfer to the airport. (booked with the same hotel) We were Traveling with a small baby, It was off peak Season, the hotel was almost empty. They refused to give us a late Check out. I felt they could have allowed us to stay a few hours more.

The cave style rooms added an authentic touch to our experience. The rooms were both clean and comfortable, though the shower could use an upgrade but was not an issue for us. The staff, from the reception to the kitchen and cleaning staff were friendly and always ready to help. The reception staff arranged all of our tours and we were able to communicate via WhatsApp which made it easier, even before we arrived. The breakfast included a full Turkish layout, and the BEST bread was served at lunch and dinner. While the menu is limited, you will not be disappointed. The hotel is situated in the middle of Gerome, with some of the best views of the city, you are surrounded by a variety of restaurants, gift shops, supermarkets and even a pharmacy. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very well located close to the shops and activities. At the last minute we decided to join a tour and a hotel staff member did drive us to join a group, this was well appreciated. Our guide for the Green tour was Ferman, he is very knowledgeable and he provided us with interesting information. If you have time for only one tour take the Green over the Red which provides diversified more interesting sites. We also did the horse back riding activity, the sceneries are splendid in the canyon. Not recommended for beginners as the AVT do scare some horses and it could make for a challenging experience., fortunately the guides are very professional. To view the air balloons just go up the hill facing the hotel early in the morning, the view is stunning. Nice breakfast, clean room and comfortable beds. Large shower with good water pressure. Very good value for the price.

The hotel was beautiful. I loved the extra architectural detail. The room was very spacious. We had the deluxe room. The room was nice and warm. It was 3 degrees outside, but we didn't feel the need to put the heater on. The view from the terrace of the hot air balloons was amazing. The staff was easy to deal with and understand. They booked our tours and airport shuttle transfers. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked to nearby restaurants and shops. It was fantastic to walk around in goreme. The hotel is also within walking distance to the open air museum, so there is no need for a taxi.

Breakfast at 8 am is a bit late because we are always up early.

I booked our stay at Stone House Cave Hotel for our time in Cappadocia, and from the minute my reservation was confirmed, I was blown away by the care I received. The rooms themselves are incredible: light, airy, spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, thoughtful design incorporating natural stone and even some of the original caves. The restaurant on site was delicious and we often ate there for lunch and dinner as well. They graciously provided endless tea and hot chocolate for us, even before the restaurant was officially open, since we got up before sunrise to watch the hot air balloons every morning. The location is near shops and restaurants, and we even walked to Goreme Open Air Museum from the hotel in just 20 minutes. And if that weren't already amazing, they organized all of our tours for us and took care of absolutely everything!

There is absolute nothing I didn't like, though next time, I am going to try to book the two rooms (I believe they were 123 and 124) that had access to their own private balcony for better views of the hot air balloons.

This hotel has a warmth to it and makes you feel like you are entering a large home. I really appreciated the young man who carried my luggage all the way up to the top floor as there was no elevator. It is a short walk to a popular look-out spot and the location in general is great. The view is beautiful at night when everything is lit up.

I booked this hotel specifically because I thought the hot air balloons could be well seen from the terrace, however, I did not get any close up shots. The hot air balloons may have appeared closer when it was still dark out but once it was bright out, they could only be seen in the distance. Also, I was having trouble locking the door with the manual key on a few occasions.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and stunning views of the city. One of the highlights was the breakfast — a delicious spread with something for everyone, setting me up for a great start to each day. And, of course, the views! Watching the hot air balloons drift across the sky in the mornings was simply magical. The combination of excellent service, unbeatable location, and breathtaking views made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The duvets on the bed are too small for the bed.

The location is a winner. Just a minute walk to grocery shop, cafes, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was delicious. The staff esp Muhammad Sultan was very attentive to our needs.

The facilities need serious attention. The toilet smells of sewage when water is running. In one of the rooms, my son got locked in the toilet and was unable to open the door. We had to get help from the reception. Imagine if you are all alone in the room and got locked in the bathroom. How would you get help?

Stone house literally in the center of Gerome town, the road to the hotel is flat and easily accessible. There are local shop selling groceries right next to the hotel. It is a lively night here and you can walk around the town safely and enjoy the view and there are too much to see, too many shops to go and restaurants are everywhere. Breakfast is fairly good and you can enjoy the hot air balloon view from the terrace. I love everything about the hotel, friendly owner Ahmet and staff i.e Beyza are tremendously helpful. We stayed in family room of 3 and we loved it so much. We will definitely stay here again whenever we plan to come to Cappadocia. Love the city and the people. Thank you.

Nothing. Though the hotel has old furniture but everything works. It even has mini fridge. So we can’t complaint.
