When I first stumbled upon this room on Booking.com, it seemed almost too good to be true. (Because I liked the historical buildings!) There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The Front desk staff Omar, Baris and Berkay are the most thoughtful, gracious hosts. They provided us with all the information I needed. The room is just perfect! The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is excellent. Definitely I will be back again.

The room was very nice and spacious with windows providing some views and sun. Very comfortable bed and nice shower and bathroom. The Staff was friendly and great. Also the location was very good and just a quick walk up to the main Taksim tourist area where one can find numerous restaurants, shops and people.

It would be very nice if they had a decent coffee machine in the room to use real coffee or coffee pods instead of having to use cheap instant coffee and just a hot water pot. This is a deal breaker for me as I love good coffee in the morning. And the window blinds did not work easily, they should fix/update the cords to pull them up and down properly.

The hotel was clean and rooms were good sized, with high ceilings. Note: there are quite a few steps to climb up, so if you have limited mobility do bear this in mind. The AC worked perfectly (much needed with the heat!) and kept the room nice and cool. The location was great - very close to the main Istiklal Street and there were lots of restaurants, cafe's etc in walking distance. The Tophane station is a 7 minute walk away (downhill) The restaurant within the hotel is brilliant - really good food and a nice chilled vibe.

Being in such a busy and lively area, there was quite a bit of noise throughout the night so not ideal for light sleepers. The rooms lack a mirror.

Cezayir rooms are in a great location, walking distance to the metro and lots of nice places to eat/drink. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a knee injury after booking the accommodation, and they offered us a room on the lower floor to minimise the number of stairs I'd have to climb. They were able to arrange an airport pickup and taxi when checking out, which was very helpful as getting taxis in Istanbul is a hassle.

The area can be very noisy, so just be aware if you're a light sleeper.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. upon arrival we discovered there was no lift, my mom has knee problems and struggles with stairs. The staff were very supportive. Shout out to Reception and housekeeping for doing a great job. The amenities were being replenished daily. The bed was so comfy. The location is also a plus point, only a few minutes walk to istklal street yet away from the noise at night.

The only drawback was there was no lift and I had my mother with me who struggled a little with the stairs. The staircase is not narrow or difficult but for her it was an issue. That’s really our fault for not checking if there was a lift. The Reception staff were more than helpful, carrying our luggage up and down the stairs and asking if they could support my mum in any way. They were amazing.

What made my stay at this hotel amazing was the staff members. Ömer was great, he would assist me with all my questions and even assisted me with an issue that I had when arriving via the private vehicle transfer. He was able to get me a partial refund due to the issues that I had. Ömer went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and happy with all the services provided. If I had any questions on how to get somewhere he would always be willing to guide me in the right direction. Ömer was always happy and provided incredible service with a smile. Anil was also very incredibly helpful and caring always willing to provide a lending hand for a personal project that I was working on while I was there. Big shout out to both Ömer and Anil + the new guy who was just starting off. Great staff members make guests stays that much better. The room was also very lovely and huge, very nice and spacious.

It is a great location close to Istiklal Street/Avenue. However, if you are like me and prefer some quiet, it is located near some nightclubs and bars and there is party atmosphere every night until the early hours of the morning. But if you love to party, this is the spot for you. This was the reason I gave an 8 overall.

It was good choice to stay here. The price and comfort are equal. Room was clean and warm. The interior of place is historical unique.

Friday and saturday night was very loud because of cafe near with hotel turned on their own music until 3am.

Great Location! High ceilings. Stunning views and surroundings. The reception is open 24/7 and the three guys working there (on different shifts) are incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. They deserve a perfect 10. The shower functions flawlessly, the bed is spotlessly clean and comfy, the large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and the furniture is tastefully chosen. The room was exceptionally lovely. I felt at home immediately.

The room was really beautiful. It had super high ceilings and a big windows that looked out onto trees. The staff was very kind.

If you're a light sleeper I would avoid staying here on Friday or Saturday nights cause there's a lot happening outside on the street. If you're into the nightlife it's super fun!

This hotel was beautiful. Really nice inside. Staff were great. Hotel was comfortable. Location was fantastic. In the middle of Beyoglu but a few streets away from Istiklal so it was mostly quiet.

Not a problem for me, but this hotel is not accessible for people with prams for mobility issues. Also on Saturday night there was lots of noise from people playing music in cars. Not the fault of the hotel. Lucky I'm a deep sleeper so it wasn't a problem for me.
