The hotel is a walking distance to Taksim Square which will save you a few bucks on transport cost. The staff are also very friendly, particularly the receptionist Mehmet.

There's no restaurant in the place

The Hotel is new and super clean, staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Fantastic position, if you don’t feel like walking uphill towards istiklal street, there are lots of nice cafes, restaurants and bars around the hotel. Main attractions are all easily reachable either on foot or by public transportation. Although it is really close to istiklal’s nightlife places, at night it is quiet. I stayed in many hotels in Istanbul and this beats them all, will definitely choose it again!

Great location - just a few steps from Istiklal. Clean and cosy apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurants and cafes nearby, shops with local brands and even a couple of hammams. Tram stop is not so far too

This is a new hotel, therefore everything is clean and tidy. Location is Exceptional. Walking distance to most of points of interest in the heart of Istanbul. The room we had was big. Plenty of space for our luggage, sitting comfortably, etc. Staff are very helpful. Communication during booking was fast and clear, they were very welcoming. They helped us to book our airport transfer as well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay in all types of questions: sightseeing, breakfast, taxi and even when I became sick, they helped us with communicating with the pharmacy. Highly recommended.

There is a renovation of the rooftop area which will be probably super-great when ready, however currently there is no breakfast possibility at the Hotel. However the Hotel is helping you to arrange it at their best. For example, we could have breakfast at one of the close hotels in their rooftop restaurant, so finally everything was fantastic. So this is also on the positive side, just wanted to mention.

I had an amazing 5-day stay at Hotel Kulsumz! The location is truly unbeatable, close to everywhere you’d want to go in Istanbul. The room was spacious and quiet, which is a rare find in this area. A special thanks to Burak and Meric for their exceptional hospitality. Burak was incredibly helpful with arranging early check-in, late check-out, and taxi services, all without any issues. Their kindness and professionalism made my stay truly memorable. I’d also like to thank Nihal, who cleaned my room every day and kept it spotless. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely stay at Hotel Kulsumz whenever I visit Istanbul again! Highly recommended!

The location is good: not far from the city center and the transport stations but not in the busiest and nosiest area. There are also many nice places to eat around. The room is quite spacious and good organized, the bed is pretty comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The cleaning lady only changed the towels and brought new bottles of water every day but didn’t clean the room or changed the bed sheets. The view from the room on the first floor is not the most beautiful but tolerable. The walls are pretty thin and we could hear our neighbors because they were loud.

The rooms are very spacious. Beds are big and comfortable. The front desk staff is helpful. Location is best close to public transport & Galata Tower & Istikal Caddesi street. The breakfast even though in another hotel, has good view & good options.

The cleaning by housekeeping is not upto mark, we were given dirty used cups & beds not made second day. Lack of glasses to drink water. AC kept closed by management meaning you have to open windows for cold air, which leads to too much noise from Main Street.

The hotel looked exactly like the pictures, which was a great relief. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always available to assist us at any hour of the day or night. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was also exceptionally clean, and all the amenities were just as described. The location was fantastic—only a 5-6 minute walk to Galataport and less than a 10-minute walk to Istiklal Street. It was very easy to reach all the main tourist attractions from here. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Istanbul!

We came to the hotel much earlier that it was supposed. Burak (guy from hotel) gave us possibility to check-in for appropriate payment. Though our hotel does not have own restaurant, we had our breakfasts in excellent restaurant at hotel "Port Bosforus" in 10 minutes walking: 9th floor with a beatiful view on Bosforus. Our hotel is situated at pretty quiet street in 10 minutes from Istiklal street and little further from historical center of Istanbul, When we'll meet Istanbul next time, we will stay at the same hotel.
