First and foremost the location of the hotel was absolutely magnificent, the quient little alleys, small. shops and street art, really made it feel very modern and at the same time grounded everything with the historical builings and architecture. This was very important as it was my wife's first time here and she loved all the mixing of street art and old buildings she saw. The city is easiy to acess from the neighborhood, main street with shops and tram lines to most of the historical places are in 7-8 minutes walking distance. There are some amazing cafes and restaurants around, special mention to Hodan restaurant nearby for a great evening meal, Lemon Garden cafe that was our go to breakfast place all week and Flekk bar nearby for an excellent mixology menu. The staff are absolutely amazing every single one of them - quick to help with questions, find information and generally be nice and helpful. Special mentions to Baris, Omer and Basar for all the help they provided! Amazing team always very talkative and accomodating with some of our more difficult requests.

The neighborhood can be quite loud during the evenings there is live music nearby and a road, we were walking a lot thoughout the days so we were just too tired to notice, but it's possible that it can be a problem. We had some small problems with internet connection and WiFi, but I believe that they have contacted the provider and I am certain the problem will be gone. The rooms in the Loft specifically seem to be a little barren, they are spacious and bright, however it would be very nice if some small decoration would be put here and there to liven the place up.

Slightly bigger than average room size upstairs next to the terrace which gave the illusion of space. The terrace is used infrequently by other guests and feels like your own personal space.

The receptionist and staff also manage a sister hotel next door so are not on the property, but will attend to you once contacted. This is an apartment hotel, I needed to adjust my expectations. There is a restaurant on the corner which offers live music, this can be quite noisy but after a day of walking the streets exhaustion beat the noise.

The hotel is located in a very vibey area, and in walking distance of istiklal street, taksim square and galata tower. Wonderful location. Room is lovely. Also good service-particularly Volkan who received us, was extremely responsive, friendly, warm, extremely helpful. Definitely a place to consider for location and comfort. Tea bags were provided I wished there were coffer capsules too.

I didn’t understand the purpose of the kitchen in the room if there were no all necessary supplies, there is no reception in the hotel and it feels like it’s little bit abandoned as well as the area downstairs. also there is very loud music from the restaurants around even in the late night

The moment we entered our room, we were greeted by a spotless environment, perfectly arranged furniture, and fresh linens. Every corner of the room exuded a sense of meticulous attention to detail, making us feel instantly comfortable and at ease during our stay. One aspect that truly stood out during our visit was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff at The Loft Istanbul. From the front desk personnel to the housekeeping staff, everyone displayed a genuine commitment to ensuring our stay was enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries, providing a level of service that exceeded our expectations. Another notable highlight of The Loft Istanbul was its safe and convenient location. Being close to both Galataport and Taksim Square allowed us to explore these vibrant areas of Istanbul with great ease. Whether we wanted to visit the lively entertainment district around Taksim Square or take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful Galataport waterfront, everything was within a short walking distance. This made our stay not only convenient but also filled with wonderful experiences.

The Loft is located in a perfect spot. 10 min walk from the port, 5 min from High Street and it is in a very peaceful side street in a more artistic area with loads of small cafes ,bars, antique shops you you would not feel as it is crowded as it is a very relaxing place but you have options to get busy if you want to. Reception is available 24/7 and all the boys and other staff are really friendly and helpful. Make sure you always ask about tips and tricks, because we did find great spots based on their instructions. Omar specifically went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and very special. The only thing that was really perfect was the service of Murat and Omar! The place was blessed with good people who make up for all the bad. They helped us with everything we asked for and went above and beyond so that we would be satisfied, thank you very much!

You can hear everything from every room, at first we were given a room where the air conditioner was really noisy, they moved us to another room, better on the face of it, and also the air conditioner didn't work well and made a lot of noise - it's hard to sleep without an air conditioner. There is no darkness, the curtains are light and the sun comes in in the morning. Our room was not cleaned due to a misunderstanding by the cleaner, who by the way was also lovely! There is noise from the bars below. The experience was bearable only because of Murat and Omar!

We had a truly delightful time on our room's balcony. The balcony offered a view of a picturesque street adorned with trees on the end of the street. The balcony was also adorned with lovely flowers, which greatly captivated us. Overall, we had a wonderful experience in our room. Overall, a lovely small hotel not far from Taksim Square near to many shops and restaurants, also close to Galata Port and Karakoy. Hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Small little place tucked away on a side street. Great place to relax. Room is a little small but still good for 2. Great bathroom with excellent shower and plenty of hot water. A bit of music from side cafes but finishes early enough to not bother sleep. Lots of good restaurants and Istakal street is a 5-10 min. walk. Omar was wonderful help. Lots of stairs and he helped me with my bags on arrival and departure. Very friendly and kind. Good restaurant suggestions. I can suggest Cafe Giovanni at the top of the steps and to your left for breakfast and Lemonta for everything.

Really nothing. I’m planning on returning there.

Additionally, there's a conveniently located metro station nearby. The hotel room was spacious and kept in excellent condition.
