We loved everything about our stay - great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous room, everything was amazing. However, we would have preferred a suite facing in to the courtyard.

This is nothing to do with the hotel, but the location is very bohemiam and we had a nightly challenge as locals drive by with their music playing loudly quite a bit, plus on Fri/Sat evenings, the bass from music played at local bars and cafes travelled too. We are light sleepers but it was quite loud to us and made it hard to ge a restful night's sleep.

I could not recommend this hotel more. The location is perfect, located on a charming street in one of Istanbul's most boho neighborhoods -- bustling but not loud. The staff are so helpful and attentive, and made my short stay perfect. The rooms are well appointed and hip. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. And to top off the whole experience, the hammam next door is a heavenly and luxurious place to recharge after hours of exploring.

Very little to complain about. Would probably say the coffee could be a bit better.

Great location in a beautiful, hip, trendy and lively neighborhood. Walking distance from many restaurants and shops and a tram station. The room was large and comfortable for a group of 3 (with extra rollaway bed). The complimentary breakfast was delicious and provided for a large time frame. The small kitchen was perfect for light meals or heating up leftovers. The hamam next door is also stunning and worth a visit. We scheduled private airport transports through the hotel which was very helpful and convenient.

The bathroom in our room was tiny and hard to move around in. For the size of the room, it could have been much bigger. For a group of 3 friends the semi transparent shower door was a little awkward - we had to find a solution by covering it with a towel. Staff was helpful but some of them were very curt and short - we preferred to ask a specific few for help/recommendations.

I booked the superior studio room and it was excellent. The room was very spacious, furnishings were modern. The room, bed, chairs, sofa etc were all very clean. A nice feature was the large TV was able to rotate 180 degrees, so you can turn it to face the bed or the sofa. Cleaning was available everyday if you wanted it. Wifi was fast and stable. The kitchen area featured a full size fridge, plenty of plates, cutlery and pots/pans (all of which looked brand new). There was also a microwave and small hob if you need to do cooking. Large glass bottles of filtered water were pre stocked in the fridge and on the side in the kitchen. Directly outside the room was a water dispenser (could dispense both hot and chilled water) so you can easily refill the glass bottles when needed. Breakfast was served until 11.30, which was great as you don't need to decide between having breakfast and sleeping in! The staff were very polite and helpful, and there was always someone at reception. The location of the hotel was great, with several convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops within a 10 minute walk. It's also only about 10 mins walk from İstiklal street.

The only minor negative about the room was that there was an EXIT sign above one of the doors that generated a bit too much light for my liking when trying to sleep (I'm used to the room being very dark when sleeping), and there was no way to dim it. However, after the first night I adjusted to it ok and it didn't stop me sleeping.

Everything about the property was great - the welcome, the room, the location, the breakfast and the staff were really lovely and chilled - Deniz and Emru particularly so.

The only disappointment was that we booked a private transfer for our day of departure and it arrived 20 mins late. We felt as though we were a bit of an afterthought! The older gentleman, who we had not seen before today, said that he wouldn’t charge our credit card because of the delay. When we explained that we had actually paid cash for this service he shrugged his shoulders and lost total interest. Suggest other travellers bear this in mind.

The room was light and big, it was lovely to have that extra lounge area. Breakfasts were great and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good, quite an uphill climb from the sea but near to the main shopping street which has tram transport and close to lots of restaurants. The front of the hotel looks into a quiet leafy road and it was lovely to sit there and relax after a long day.

We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. We stayed in one of the back rooms in an adjacent building and while the room was lovely, unfortunately Friday and Saturday nights were very noisy and we had difficulty sleeping. However, I would definitely stay there again, and if over a weekend would request a front room in the main hotel.

The location was good near tram 1 ..our apartment was very comfortable with all the facilities we needed.. The house keeping staff do a good job

The pickup at the airport was stressful we expected someone with our name on a placard to be there but we had to go and find a man who had our name on his phone who then took us a taxi. The breakfast was disappointing..we expected a buffet with plenty of choices instead we had to ask for most items..we didn't eat the Turkish breakfast,we had just cereal and bread and eggs,no juices left out and the only fresh fruit was melon and a bowl with apples and oranges non residents got a menu and could order what they needed, there was one nice girl who understood English serving most mornings my daughter only came for breakfast one morning as there wasn't any fresh croissants or anything she liked

This is our home in Istanbul. Having tried many places, I can vouch that this is the most comfortable, hospitable, friendly place with a perfect location. As everywhere, the big difference is the people, who work here: not just polite, but genuinely motivated to make each guest feel at home. Add to this: most comfortable beds and pillows, appliances that are often better than the ones in your own home, splendid breakfasts and the charm of cat and people life of true old Istanbul streets around you.

The room is more like a studio unit, with microwave, fridge, ,washing machine and a small kitchenette. There are windows and balcony doors - though I wonder if the balcony door can be opened. Hotel provides Turkish breakfast and tries to provide some different items every day. It would be nice if hotel can turn the breakfast room to a bistro at night. If you enjoy walking, this hotel is a very good choice.

The hotel does not has a gym but guests have to walk up and down every day. It is also a pleasure to walk around the hotel and Istanbul.
